Wasn't the whole point of NHB changing names...
OldSchoolWrestling replied to Mole's topic in No Holds Barred
Thank you, that is my point. This is the stupid crap folder, you schmuck. What do you think should be posted in HD then Mole? Flaming left and right. Looks like somebody agrees with you. -
Assuming Angle wins the 3-way for the number 1 contendership, and Eddie wins the title at No Way Out, what will happen at WM20? Is Eddie hotshotting the belt to Angle? And if so, will it result in a feud or is it simply to do yet another Angle/Lesnar program? Or are there other contenders out there that Angle will be working with? I'd love to see Eddie get a run for the belt, at least until SummerSlam, but I haven't heard of any plans past WM.

I work in a high-tech software company in Silicon Valley. Everyone and their mother has a cell phone and I hear them ringing all day. I hear the stupidest ring tones all day that would make me embarrassed to to have go off if any of my buddies were around. However yesterday, while browsing the ATT and Nokia sites, I found the ringtone that I just had to have: The Sanford and Son theme song. Most of the ringtones they have of songs of artists sound like crap and you can't usually tell what song it even is if you don't know. But this one sounds right on. I was in a deptartment store the other night and I heard a police siren. I was wondering why I could hear it so clearly and it turned out to be a cellphone. It sounded so real I couldn't believe it. I tried finding it for my phone but couldn't. So who hear has got good ones?

You'd better hope I don't find a good copy of Paid in Full or I'll be stealing that shit too. That was one of the first rap albums I bought back in the day.

Found this online: What is a Stinger? A stinger is a sports related injury to the nerves about the neck or shoulder. It is sometimes called a burner or nerve pinch injury, but the term stinger is most descriptive of the symptoms that the athlete experiences including painful electrical sensations radiating through one of the arms. While the stinger is usually a spine injury, it is never a spinal cord injury. The stinger occurs most commonly in contact and collision sports, but is not as catastrophic as a spinal cord injury and does not result in paralysis in the arms and legs. A stinger is often not reported by the athlete to the coaches or the athletic trainers since the symptoms can spontaneously resolve within a short period of time. However, stingers tend to recur and if not properly diagnosed and treated can lead to persistent pain or even arm weakness, which can eventually result in extended lost playing time. Athletes competing in various sports (most common in football and wrestling), playing specific positions (such as defensive back, linebacker or offensive line) or performing certain athletic maneuvers (such as tackling, blocking or executing a take down maneuver) are at greatest risk of sustaining a stinger. The injury occurs in 1 of 2 ways: either 1 of the nerves off the spinal cord in the neck is compressed as the head is forced backward and toward that side; or the nerves in the neck and shoulder are over-stretched as the head is forced sideways away from the shoulder. The athlete will experience sudden and severe painful, stinging sensations in 1 of his arms frequently lasting from seconds to minutes, occasionally hours and less frequently days or longer. There is often associated weakness of the muscles in the shoulder and arm that are supplied by the injured nerve. The arm symptoms are usually more severe than neck pain. First time stingers will usually recover quickly even without treatment, but there is a greater risk of recurrent injury if left untreated. Each additional stinger will likely result in continued neurologic impairment including muscle weakness. Stingers do not affect both arms at the same time, although each arm can be affected with different injuries. If both arms are symptomatic at the same time after a neck injury, a spinal cord injury is likely to have occurred which leads to a much different treatment plan.

When Howard Stern thinks you're low-class...
OldSchoolWrestling replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Howard occasionally has wrestlers and divas on. I wonder if Vince will keep his wrestlers off the show now. -
Except some of them have signed contracts with TNA.

Dude, they're young special needs kids. That's just not right. "Mr. Malibu, I poopooed my pants!"

Rudy had some bad pain in his foot. He told the group he couldn't run on it and it hurt to walk and he hoped the challenge wasn't a challenge where they needed to run. That had to seal his fate right there. I like Rudy, but you can tell he's aged quite a bit since the last time he was there. And while he would be the sentimental pick to win it, there is no way he could politically maneuver this time around to get very far.

COMPLETE Monday Night Wars Extras
OldSchoolWrestling replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Is this when he told Vince to show up at his house/backyard or I'm thinking of somethingelse? It was at the Slamboree PPV. Eric Bischoff issued an open challenge for Vince to show up and have a match with him. He gave pictures of Vince, DX and Steve Austin to security and said to "let them in if they show up". Well, when it came time to have the match, Bischoff came out, Buffer did an intro for Vince, and Vince didn't show. So Bischoff had the ref do a 10-count and of course Bischoff "beat" McMahon. And then when Vince bought WCW, didn't he say he wanted Ted Turner to come to Wrestlemania to seal the deal or something along those lines? -
I use that on my Palm Pilot for appointment reminders.

I think the Eddie/Chavo feud had a clear winner. The only problem with that is is that they both went into a program with a champion. Eddie to the world title, Chavo to the Cruiserweight title.

Fellas? Mole?

I wouldn't mind seeing Hart meeting up with Benoit in the back and giving him some inspiration to win the title. And also put him in the HOF.

I was fucking stunned watching this. I could not believe what I had seen. It was to me one of the top 2 angles I had ever seen up to that point and probably in my top 5 to this day. I've been looking to get a copy of this recently as well.

What'd he do? Inquiring minds wanna know! Here's the link: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...2393&hl=new+mod Basically he banned Tim Cooke for something which turned out to not be true and then after a bunch of fighting on the board realized his mistake, Dames reinstated Tim, J*ingus, stepped down as mod, and some Saved By the Bell stalker become our new mod. -
What kind of old person will you be?
OldSchoolWrestling replied to Youth N Asia's topic in General Chat
I'm 33 and still do the things I did when i was younger. Still watch wrestling, still listen to gangster rap, still play video games, still check out the hotties. When you get older you just try and hide it better. -

This is totally reminding me of the J*ingus fiasco. -
What a way to wake up in the morning.
OldSchoolWrestling replied to The Dames's topic in General Chat
Same diff. DO NOT EAT AT MCD'S AT 3AM! No stomach problems that way. Doesn't McDonald's just change their deep fry grease like once a day? And isn't that once a day usually the morning shift, like 6 or 7am? So at 3am wouldn't that grease be almost a day old? Yummy -
http://pub138.ezboard.com/bkayfabememories Kayfabememories message board. Where all the old territories are discussed. The only WWF discussion you will find there is from the WWWF through the WWF of the 80's, but its a great place to talk about the really old stuff for any fed, and some old wrestlers and people in the business post there.

I hope they updated the rules to indicate you can't wish death on someone or tell them to lay off. -
So will this lead to the Good Houskeeping Match II?
