    So.....Who won the awards ??

Why wouldn't they have awards for the non X wrestlers or tag teams? How could Jeff not want to give himself the award for wrestler of the year, heel of the year, face of the year, owner of the year.......?

Hogan refusing to do backstage segments

What is next for the Hulkster? The skepticism in TNA about Hulk Hogan continues to rise with many feeling that he will never actually work for the company. Hogan continues to throw out excuses about not appearing on the PPVs or even taping segments for them. His knee also continues to be a problem which has now delayed the planned Bound for Glory PPV indefinitely. Jeff Jarrett recently told the TNA wrestlers that the PPV was delayed indefinitely. Jerry Jarrett actually flew to Tampa recently and met one on one with Hogan. Hogan told Jarrett that his knee was not responding but that he was 100% with TNA. Hogan then said they could push back the "big show" until May or June and bill it as TNA's two year anniversary show. When asked about whether he would work WrestleMania XX, Hogan told Jarrett that he and Vince McMahon no longer got along regarding business and would not work together again. Jarrett told people after the meeting that Hogan's knee was swollen, but that he was walking alright on it. This situation has made everyone in TNA suspicious because, again, Hogan has not signed a contract, backed out of his scheduled match months in advance, and does not want to do a taped segment or in-ring appearance for the promotion. Another source indicates that Hogan wants to spend all his time right now launching the musical career of his daughter, Brooke, he is trying to become a pop star. Hogan has a handshake deal with Disney. To launch her career, Hogan would have to do lots of work opening media doors for her. The thinking is that if he did a TNA PPV, he would also have to do all the media tours for that and thus doesn't have time for both. Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

San Diego Chargers keeping Marty Schottenheimer

Schottenheimer will return for third season in San Diego Dec. 23, 2003 SportsLine.com wire reports SAN DIEGO -- Marty Schottenheimer will return as coach of the San Diego Chargers next year even though they've lost 19 of their past 24 games. Tired of speculation about Schottenheimer's future, general manager A.J. Smith said Tuesday that Schottenheimer will return for his third year with the Chargers. San Diego is 3-12 and tied with Arizona for the NFL's worst record. "The constant questions were becoming a distraction for us, so I felt it was time to end the speculation once and for all," Smith said in a statement. "After the season we will assess the entire organization from top to bottom and address the issues that led to this very disappointing season. "I believe in the benefits of stability and continuity. We haven't given him enough time or enough talent on the field." The Chargers are 11-20 in two seasons under Schottenheimer, the NFL's ninth-winningest coach. This is just his second losing record in his 17 full seasons as an NFL head coach. Schottenheimer is due $5 million over the next two seasons. The Washington Redskins, who fired Schottenheimer after he coached them in 2001, will pay $500,000 of his salary next year. The Christmas SmackDown from Iraq...

Vince McMahon was on FOX News Channel’s morning show “Fox and Friends” today. He was interviewed by Brian Kilmeade. The segment opened with Kilmeade welcoming Vince to the show and mentioning what McMahon and WWE did for the troops by going to Iraq and taping this week’s Smackdown there. Vince said that it was a privilege to be asked to do so by the Armed Forces Entertainment and said it was a great experience. Kilmeade asked if WWE brought their own ring with them and Vince said that they flew it over on the plane because they wouldn’t have had one otherwise. Kilmeade asked what it was like to fly straight into Baghdad Airport instead of landing in Kuwait first. Vince said it was cool and very different since they were on an aircraft that only carried troops, equipment and cargo, not a normal airline. Vince put over how great it was to be able to perform for the troops and said that when they were there, they stayed in one of Saddam Hussein’s palaces and slept on a cot, like everyone else. He added that they got back to the US on Sunday. He was asked if he was told what to do in case of attack and he said that they were told how to react in the case of sniper fire or mortar bombs. He again put over the troops for their sacrifices and for protecting out country. He added that they could only take 34 people so a lot who wanted to go couldn’t. They again mentioned that the show would air Christmas night on UPN and that concluded the interview. … Thanks to Allen Woods for his help with this story. from 1wrestling.com

Him turning on Lita was the reason for the marks to boo him. Lita is semi-over with the marks.

Ok...they wanna turn him face. Question is...HOW will they do it? You just know it has to involve Lita because the marks are heartbroken that he turned on her.

*pulls out hair* Being a nerd is a good thing IMO! It means that you are a genuine nice guy that is in to whatever thing you're into that society deems "uncool" be it video games, star wars, Anime, Fantasy, D&D, and whatnot. You don't care what they say. You don't care that some people may look down on you for it. Fuck them. You're having fun doing it. You're surrounded by others that are having fun doing it and are having fun with you. You don't need to be "popular" or "cool" because those people aren't genuine anyways. They aren't the kind of people you want to associate with. They're assholes that will turn on each other at the drop of a hat. You don't need that. You've got real friends here. You've got genuine friends in your "nerd bracket" so to speak. So why do you need to be popular or cool(which are just illusions anyways)? You don't. You're a nice guy that is having fun doing what he loves and nobody can take it away from you. That's what being a nerd is to me. NERDS!NERDS!NERDS!NERDS!

    Even The Board Doesn't Care...

Happy birthday man. And that's the problem with everyone changing their names. I have no idea who anyone is anymore unless they say so. If its a day of boredom I say you go out and PM everybody on the board and see how many you can get through.
