"Doing it publicly on TV, to me, seems like trying to get credit for it, which I don't agree with." This part sure sounds like he is.

I'm not a big fan of Kirsten's dad, but if he brings his hot new young wife with him, I'm all for it.

This has probably been done before but I don't spend much time in the music folder so my apologies up front if this has been done to death. Here are some concert events I attended that were more than just music. Kiss - Farewell Tour 2000- Their supposed farewell tour, yet 3 years later they are playing in my town again. It was awesome with all the pyro and the Kiss Army. Not a huge fan of their music but seeing them live was awesome. Prince - 2000 - I'm a fan of his music but GOOD GOD the women in the audience were worth more than the price of admission. Up In Smoke Tour 2001 - Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem - I don't partake of the chronic but damn if the contact high wasn't the shiznit. This concert from start to finish was a fun smoke out party. Digital Underground - early 90's- The Undergrounds concerts were always a party. You couldn't help but dance like a fool to the Humpty Dance. Probably the most fun I've had goofing around at a concert. Public Enemy - 1988 - Being a non-black man at a PE concert with the S1W's on stage was scary yet awesome. PE back in the day were awesome. NWA - 1988 - Eazy E, Ice Cube, Dr Dre and their posse put on the shows that made you wanna kill somebody, and enjoy doing it. Too Short 1985 - 1993 - Being from Oakland and having local rapper come up during this time was great. There was a local radio station that would put on a mega concert with like 15 artists with the show being like 12 hours out in the hot sun. On 2 occasions, Short showed up unannounced, performed, and stole the show. SummerJam - 1987-1990 - This is the concert put on by the local radio station. Each year they would try and get about 15 artists to pop in and do a quick set. Young up and coming artists like Mariah Carey, Paula Abdul, the Cover Girls, Expose, BBD would perform while they were just up and coming in the music industry. This was held at an amphitheatre and it was an awesome site when the people sitting on the grass in the general admission section, some 10,000 of them would have a 20 minute food fight. Day on the Green - 1993(?) not sure of the exact year. Day on the Green was a yearly concert on the field at the Oakland Colisseum, at that time only the home of the Oakland A's. Metallica and Guns n Roses headlined but the controversy was Ice T's band Body Count performing. They of course had the song Cop Killer, which caused the security to not want to protect them. The mosh pit got out of control and people started tearing up the sod and it turned into the largest sod fight I've ever seen. The A's of course weren't happy. Lollapalooza 1992 - Headlined by the Chili Peppers, with Ministry, Lush, Jesus Jones, Ice Cube and the Booyah Tribe also performing. Had a great time and with Ice T as the host of the night, it was awesome to see the show close with the Chili Peppers joined onstage by T, Cube and the Tribe.

Last night's SmackDown! did a a 3.7 broadcast rating, with a 6 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. I am away from home and can't check the archives, but it's the best number I can remember the show doing in some time. The interesting thing is it was the first night of November sweeps and went up against big competition, and still scored well. It may be an over-simplification, but the only different thing on the show was that it was the first week that fans knew Paul Heyman would be on the show. Heyman=Ratings? Maybe so! 1wrestling.com

There were more matches. They just decided not to show them on tv.

Here's my costume:

Found this somewhere regarding the overnight ratings: The premiere of "Tru Calling" on FOX averaged 3.3/5, tying the first hour of "WWE Smackdown!" on UPN.

What's the beef with Steinbrenner? Does Steinbrenner hold meetings and blast the coaches, or was Zimmer tired of having to bring him a calzone every day for lunch?
-
No way. Not one of the characters is one-dimensional, ESPECIALLY Ryan. Ryan has a coolness I haven't seen since Dylan McKay.
-
They can't kill off Julia Cooper. They just need to alternate Jimmy, Ryan, Seth, and Sandy owning her.
-
All I have to add is that she runs really fast.

Follow to story that Matt Hardy wasn't at SmackDown! this week... It was reported earlier today that Matt Hardy wasn't at last night's SmackDown! tapings, or this weekend's house shows. A rumor circulating is that Matt Hardy, Vee One-uhhhhhhh may be jumping to RAW in the near future, as he hasn't been involved in storylines since his loss to Zach Gowen at No Mercy. In related news, Matt was backstage at RAW this Monday, visiting with Lita, as was brother Jeff Hardy. Jeff is still working on his music career, only having appeared on indie promotions a handful of times since he left RAW earlier this year. He is scheduled to have a concert near Cincinnati, OH on November 21, 2003. Credit: 1wrestling.com

THERE ARE NO MOOPS! "It says so right here on the card. Moops"
-
Is he talking about the Moors or the Moops?
-
I don't want to see Ric wrestling anymore. He is my favorite wrestler of all time but he's too old now. I do however, hate seeing him kissing HHH's ass. He makes it seem like HHH is his idol when Flair at his best is when he's talking shit to others. I wouldn't mind him cutting promos telling people HHH is the man, etc, etc. But when HHH enters the room there is no reason Flair needs to get that schoolgirl look in his eye.

She is 22 years old.

How would Yankee fans feel about getting him?

The Life and Times of Shane Helms www.shanehelms.com Entry #53 Wednesday, October 29th, 2003. It's almost Halloween!!!! And I have to admit that the not-so-hidden child within me absolutely loves this particular holiday. But I won't be able to pass out candy this year as I've agreed to do a personal appearance at ZB Falcons in South Bend, IN for the NBWA (New Breed Wrestling Association). And why would I agree to do this? One reason: SHARK BOY!!! LOL As some of you may or may not know, Shark Boy is one of my Hurri-peeps from waaaay back in the day. Anyway, he asked me to make an appearance at this show, so there ya go, I'm there! I had a lot of fun this past Monday in Fayetteville, NC or FayetteNam as it is better known. I thought that RAW was pretty good, and I was pleased with my match against La Resistance as I teamed up with Big Bad John Heidenreich (I have no idea if I spelled that right) in his WWE debut match. John was, I believe, the 39th person that I've teamed with since coming to the WWE, if you include House Shows. I always like teaming with new people. However, I did miss my partner in crime fighting, Rosey, but as I understand it he was busy doing a photo shoot for this weekend's edition of the Daily Globe. And begin! Now before I go any further, I have a confession to make . . . I just got finished watching the finale of The Joe Schmo show and I have to admit that I loved that show. LOL Despite some of the ridicule that will come with this admission, I'm standing my ground. I generally hate reality shows, but this particular one had a "feel good" attitude about it that made me want to watch it. Just had to get that out! A quick congrats to Chris Jericho on becoming a father to a 8lb 8 oz bouncing bundle of joy that he named Ash Edward, but that will probably become knows as Baby Bling Bling. A quick "get well soon" to Rodney Mack who also got hurt recently. Despite our recent backstage antics, The Mizzle (as I call him) and Hurri-Nizzle (as he calls me) are very good friends and have actually become even better friends because of our backstage antics. That's just how us Southern Boys are, we all got a little redneck in us. The MCL sprain in my right knee continues to be a pain in my . . . well, knee, but I have high hopes that it will heal sooner than later because as we all know, limpin' ain't easy. I'm really looking forward to the Ric Flair DVD coming out soon. That is just gonna be an awesome addition to my DVD collection. Speaking of which, I recently added the first season of Will & Grace, the second season of 24, and the only season of The Tick! 24 is simply the most compelling and suspenseful TV show that I've ever seen and comes with my highest possible recommendation. Will & Grace is a really funny show that should be titled Jack & Karen, as the backup players are the real stars of the show. And The Tick, while short-lived and not nearly as funny as the cartoon version was still a great show that I really enjoyed watching. Myself and CWF'er Michael Yamaha went and saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre last weekend and I thought that it was pretty damn scary. I must be getting soft as I get older because Horror movies never used to faze me at all, but Texas along with The Ring "got me" pretty good. I just need to be held I guess. Any takers? I went and watched another Carolina Wrestling Federation show this past weekend, and was treated to one of the best gimmick matches that I've seen in all of wrestlings recent history. A wrestler named Rob "The Bull" McBride, who I've actually known since I broke into the biz, came out dressed like, danced like, and to the music of Jimmy "Boogie Woogie Man" Valiant. He then got on the microphone and challenged a local heel manager to a match. To make it even funnier, he kept calling the manager "Paul Jones" and referred to the CWF commishioner as "David Crockett." It was seriously a very funny site to behold! The CWF continues to be my favorite indy promotions. And while we are on the topic of indy's, everyone should check out the G.L.O.R.Y. Website. It's a site devoted to the women of the independent wrestling world and while I was looking through the site I couldn't help but notice some of the cool names and gimmicks that some of these ladies had come up with! I've always been a fan of cool names. For instance, I liked Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfand before I ever saw him box, same went for Hector "Macho" CaMacho. In wrestling, there was Sid Vicious, Terra Ryzing, Van Hammer, and so on and so on. So anyway, some of the ones that I popped for were: Angyl, 21st Century Fox, Tara Charisma (one of my favs), Destiny's Diamond, Ivanna B. Eighten (LOL, that's awesome!) Hurricane Havana (who I guess is a female version of me), Nikki Lace, LuFisto, Moonpuppy (a female MoonDog, you gotta love that!) Noel, Savvy, ODB, Special K, and Velvet "VD" Divide (now that's catchy). And there are many, many others on the site that are very good as well. A ton of work went into this site, so check it out if you get the chance. And finally it seems that once again, the wrestling world has suffered great losses with the passing of both Stu Hart, and Michael "Hawk" Hegstrand. I honestly didn't know Stu Hart as a person, but his impact of the world or wrestling was just tremendous and without question. And with all the accounts of what kind of person he was, he sounds like someone that I could really relate to. Someone that didn't get pushed around, and someone that stood up for himself, and what he believed in, REGARDLESS of the consequences. I wish I would have known him. The Road Warrior Hawk on the other hand was someone that I did know, and someone that I grew up being a huge fan of. I mean who didn't like The Road Warriors? Hawk's signature, "Well!" and his, "Oh, what a rush!!!" rank up there with some of the original catchphrases before catchphrases became commonplace. While one of the best tag-teams ever, I always thought that Hawk could have branched out on his own to become an even greater singles star. Hawk simply had it all. His aura of invincibility make it seem strange to me that he is gone. God bless both these men. Well, that's all for now, until next time, Stay cool. Shane

Great episode. I remember after episode 1 I thought Marissa's mom was so hot. Now the bitch has me wanting someone from Chino to come take her ass out! Sandy makes me laugh in pretty much every scene he is in. The man is hilarious. Summer is smoking. Too bad summer (no pun intended) is over because I bikini scene would have owned all. Seth's mom does it for me as a definite MILF. Jimmy continues to remind me of WWE's Christian, only in a face role. So what to do with Luke? He got limited airtime, but I still think is a good character. Does he go face, or remain heel?
-
If he turns face and goes to Raw, they'd better call it "Version II".
-
I liked him when he was a jobber on WCW Saturday Night and then again when he was on Tough Enough, but other than that I was not a big fan.
-
Shannon, unlike Matt, was at the Smackdown/Velocity tapings and had a Velocity match. Not sure if that means anything yet.

Report of Austin on Howard Stern
OldSchoolWrestling replied to Nevermortal's topic in The WWE Folder
That was somewhat no holds barred. Not bad. -
Its a stationary bike so most of the weight will be on my ass. My feet will be moving with the pedals but it won't be like running where all the weight will pound from one foot to the next. My heels are in serious pain every day. I wake up in the middle of the night and they are in serious pain. Funny thing is I think it has to do with the fact that I myself just recently developed a gut.
