An electric chair isn't really to be considered a suplex. It's more of a slam. You got me w/ the Dragon. The ocean cyclone you kind of lift them by their waist, or at least start out doing so. Tiger - you got me there, too. What's a tabletop suplex?

I'm well aware of what happened at COD4. I have the tape, like hopefully everyone else does here who is a fan of indy wrestling. "Not ONCE did I connect the beginning tribute to the ending angle. NOT ONCE." Did I say that you did? "The tribute was an out of character occurance. The ending angle definitely wasn't. Not to mention the incidents had NOTHING to do with one another. They're at two total opposite sides of the spectrum." It's obvious that it was out of character. That doesn't make it right, though. Remember Debra teasing someone with her puppies on Owen is RAW? Again, nobody can say concretely whether something like that or this is right or wrong. However, people can have opinions. I think that what was done in CZW was very distasteful. I stated my opinion quite politely in my first reply and I didn't get that same respect. Obviously Zandig was hung by meat hooks and obviously JC wasn't. However, the connection is still there. In both cases, they were meant to be crucified. Hi-V has been feuding with Zandig and this was their way of turning the heat up a notch. Zandig was lifted above the ground and hung with sharp objects in his skin that supported him. In the Bible, had the nails not been used, JC would've fallen off of the cross. So, the connection is most definitely there. Was it tasteful? I don't think so, but my opinion isn't fact. Was there a connection that one could make between the two incidents without stretching all that far? Yes, there was.
-
Where did I respond with insults? Ooops...I know where....I don't. When you're doing a tribute for 9/11, you don't have a guy be crucified with hooks as if he's Jesus Christ on the cross just a few hours later. Is it a fact that you don't do that? Of course not. There's no book of rationality that dictates what is polite and not polite in a situation like this. It's common sense that dictates it. I've never thought of Zandig as being impolite, irrational, or anything like that whenever I've talked to him and instead he's always been quite cordial, but his booking last night definitely seems to fall into the category of thoughtlessness.

Dace doesn't seem to be here, but I'm about 99% sure that a suplex is the following...any move where the opponent is lifted by his waist. That means that a standard, vertical, German, belly-to-belly, backdrop, side, gutwrench, etc. suplex would all fit the definition. I think I just solved everyone's question....
-
No, he's right. London wrestled Cena on Velocity once. He's made two appearances...one vs. Cena, the other vs. Matt.

would you shut the fuck up, thats easily the dumbest thing i have ever seen you post, and you have posted some pretty dumb things before. go back to cutting and pasting "news" because your opinion means dick. Your intellectuality is quite impressive. I hate you, too. "What does a wrestling angle have to do with a 9-11 tribute? Its not like they went out and burned a flag. They did something (albeit a little disturbing) 'ultraviolent' that they've been doing for years now. Shut the fuck up, Barber." Just ask those on DVDR. I'm not the only one. Go bitch at them, too. I know you won't though, because you'll get punked the fuck out. Nah, instead let's just all team up on Barber, even though his logic actually makes sense.

LXW...The future of pro wrestling is here.
LucharesuFan619 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Uhhh...If they're putting on a show like this for just 10K, then they deserve a shitload of respect. CZW and ROH spend much more than that according to someone I talked to and they have virtually no big name guys, unlike Credible, Lynn, etc. who are booked on this card. -
As was stated, they might as well have pissed on a picture of the Twin Towers if they're going to have something like what went down occur a few hours after doing a tribute. It's ridiculous.

Did you write that or did they???? Because some of us like the soap opera on Mondays and Thursdays....well, thursdays anyway. Anyway, although this thing aint gonna be my particular brand of vodka, good luck to all involved and all that They did. "Sorry, It's not even in the top 20." Which ones have had more intriguing cards? I mean Lynn vs. f'ing Shocker? Come on. -
XPW Retribution, Redemption, BIB2, Hostile Takeover, Fallout, LOD, and NOC were all great.

I want to buy this, but am not quite sure of the entire match listing. XPWrestling.com lists Kaos/Doring, the death match, Grimes/Douglas, and Shark Boy/Chetti. I've learned that the extras on the DVD are Juvi/Jerry Lynn and the four-way tag team match from the Pittsburgh show. I also know Sandman's segment is on there. Does anyone know if there's anything else on it? MMW/Panthers isn't on it it, by chance, is it? What about Hamrick/Malice (not that I care)? Crazy/Psychosis? Also, does it have any other extras besides the two matches I mentioned above? Thanks.

I'm gonna send in a shoe-in vote for Matt Stryker vs. Tom Carter/Reckless Youth from ROH Doe Or Die. That match was phenominal and much better than anyone expected.

Some one w/ a reasonable amount of credibility and who has contact w/ Kaos told me that Kaos did not and still doesn't want to work his match vs. Messiah. I don't know if Messiah feels the same, but Kaos apparently has some heat with Messiah for whatever reason and didn't want to work the match, but gave in after learning that PCW had already begun promoting it to happen, so he didn't want to back out. -
Download this week's edition in the News section of MLW.com. Featuring a Jerry Lawler interview, a Terry Funk interview, and clips of Sonjay Dutt vs. Jimmy Yang. I must say, MLW has the worst lighting of ANY promotion in the WORLD, period. It's almost unwatchable, and that's quite sad when there's Dutt and Yang in the ring together.

B-Boy/SD vs. Briscoes?!?!?! Hell yeah! -
This isnt the first time CZW/Z1 have had talks. Zandig called Z1 in early 2002 in regards to starting a talent exchange and his call was never returned. I don't know why Z1 is suddenly so interested in bringing CZW wrestlers to Japan. I'd rather see CZW stay here in the US b/c I don't know what a "Toned down version" of their hardcore wrestlers would be like. It could be somewhat fun, though.

And Abby was such a mainstay in those two feds? Not to mention Bruiser Brody, another guy Corino could be compared to. Where was his North American mainstream success? I really enjoy Corino. I thought his ECW stuff was really good and he was one of the best, if not the very best, reasons to watch ECW in it's dying days. His feud with Dusty was excellent. And on top of that Team Corino was great. Both Rhyno and Tajiri got their start as members of Team Corino and got the rub from Corino to start their pushes. Long live the King of the Old School. Abby worked in WCW. Corino didn't. Abby was in the Wargames cage match and some other memorable bouts. Wasn't there for long, but was a key guy while there. You have a point w/ Brody, but Brody was around for MUCH longer than Corino. How long has Corino been wrestling? How long did Brody wrestle before his death?
