Sal Rinauro's Unrated Updated
LucharesuFan619 replied to Phoenix Fury Legdrop's topic in General Wrestling
Fucking NOSAWA looked bad when he was in CZW. If he didn't look good in a singles match, of course Rinauro won't look good in CZW battle royal with a bunch of other juniors. Watch him in Wildside and see some great shit. His feud with Altar Boy Luke has already produced some of the best matches in the company's history and with Luke returning on 9/6 and guys like Icarus finally being picked up by NWA-WS, he's bound to produce more classic bouts. -

XPW PPV REPORT by Derek Greser Updated: 8/11/2003 10:35:17 AM This is s a recap of the XPW: Best of XPW Pay Per View. After being very impressed with the XPW PPV, I asked Dave Scherer why there wasn’t a recap of it on 1wrestling.com He said the event wasn’t available to him so I decided I would fill in for him. The main structure of the event was clips of matches and angles from the entire history of XPW. It’s very hard to call a clip show but here goes. The PPV starts with Kris Kloss (the XPW Joey Styles) inviting us to the action and telling us we have never seen anything like this before. First a highlight montage airs, Then Kris tells us its time to take a look at he history of the King Of the Death Match Title. First match up is Supreme vs. The Rock Superstar, Kaos. Highlights from the match start with Supreme being Irish whipped into a corner of the ring filled with light bulbs, ouch. Kaos then huracanrana supreme into a big pile of barbwire, they then trade light bulb shots to the head, after that they slam each other into a box of thumbtacks. Another big spot in this match is a second rope diving powerbomb to the outside through a table from supreme to Kaos. Stiff Stuff. Supreme then takes a bulldog into a flaming table, and is on fire for about 15 seconds before its extinguished. WOW. Backstage vignettes air with Supreme and his nephew Kaos infiltrating the XPW office, Supreme literally punches anyone in his way right in the face. These are not wrestling punches but full out stiff mean punches to these people faces. Unreal. The other KOTDM tournament match we see is Pogo; The insane Clown vs. Rizzoto vs. Supreme. Only a few highlights from this match show a Rizzoto laying against a board covered in barb wire and then the Mammoth Pogo is Irish whipped by supreme right into him, His bare back being pressed into the wire. We also see this shirtless man belly-to-belied into a box of thumbtacks. His back is shredded. Next we take a look at the Television Title. First match is Kaos vs. Pogo. First up Kaos gets powerbombed over the top rope through a table to the concrete. Kaos lands right on his neck and flips over, how he got up from this is un-explainable. One of the sickest bumps on the event, and that I have ever seen in my life. Kaos is then shown hitting the flying guillotine on pogo (a half way across the ring blockbuster) for the 1-2-3. Kaos is then shown defending the title against psychosis and an un-named Japanese opponent. Beats psychosis with a top rope DDT. End of match. More backstage vignettes are shown; Rob Black XPW owner is shown, with special appearances by Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson, and Ron Jeremy. Supreme continues punching people right in there face as he searches through the XPW offices, Throws someone into a wall and leaves a big hole in it. LOL Tag Team division is showcased. Mexico’s Most Wanted: Halloween and Damien 666 fight two unnamed masked opponents. Wild Cruiserweight action. Halloween wins the match with an F5. Backstage vignettes show yet another Supreme face punch victim, then a plump wrestler wearing a Loser shirt making love to an apple pie in a place that looks like an office break room. Yes, screwing an apple pie just like the movie. Then we see a nice girl in a bikini pouring motor oil over her chest and posterior. Cool. Time to take a look at the part owner of XPW Lizzy Borden. Nice little beach bikini shots of her, then we se her spanking Major Gunz in the ring. Back to wrestling, and it’s a look at the world title. First match showcased is Chris Candido vs. Shane Douglas. We see Douglas Vertical suplex Candido. Some backdrops, Candido misses a diving head BUTT, and SABU appears. Sabu starts beating them both down. And he puts Candido through a table with a legdrop from the second turnbuckle. We see Candido cover Sabu to retain the XPW championship. Weird. Now it's Death Match time again, and it’s a barbwire match, only three sides of the ring are covered with wire, one side is open. Grimes, (formerly of the Baldies) vs. Supreme. Match starts with grimes being hip tossed from the apron to the outside into a box of long light bulbs. Then Supreme gets suplexed into the very same box. Then we see Supreme being body slammed from the apron to the outside onto the same box… except this time it has a barbwire covered ladder on it! Supreme sets up the ladder on the outside next to the apron. He then climbs up the ladder with a chair, hoping to jump into the ring onto grimes. At the top of the ladder he tries to jump the ladder gives way and he slips, and hits his chest and face from about 10 feet up onto the apron. This is sick and has to be seen to believe. Amazingly supreme can walk and we cut to him climbing up a 20 foot ladder in the center of the ring, with the ref holding the ladder, supreme was looking to splash on grimes, but XPW owner Rob Black jumps in the ring and pushes the ladder over. This sends Supreme all the way to the outside, through two tables both tables covered in barbwire and long light bulbs. Absolutely sick. Abdullah the butcher is shown making his way to the ring. Sabu greets him with punches. Abdullah grabs a 40 bottle and breaks it on the ring post, and picks up a shard of the broken glass and immediately drives it into Sabu shoulder. He is then shown driving the fork into sabu's head. No winner shown. Kid Kaos is showcased again. His backstage interviews are shown. He comes across as a cocky comedy heel, similar to a DX or N.W.O. Member. He is very entertaining and talented, and the highlight of the PPV for me. They cut to a TV title match with Chris Hamrick vs. Kaos. Hamrick has improved his in ring since ecw. Hamrick clotheslines Kaos the outside, then springboard moonsaults Kaos to the outside. Nice. They seem to be in a baseball stadium, and the fight in the stands, Hamrick throws Kaos to the ground, and then splashes him all the way down to the grass. Kaos gets to the top and answers with a moonsault to the grass. Back to the ring and Kaos hits the flying guillotine for the victory. Next we see Kaos fighting New Jack in the same arena, they brawl on the outside, end with Kaos hitting New Jack with the Flying guillotine for the 123. On a funny side note, Kid Kaos wrestles all his TV title defenses wearing the title belt the entire match. Funny Stuff. Next they show the finals of the TV title Tourney were Kaos won the strap, Its Konnan vs. Kaos. Konnan is shown using a Boston crab on Kaos, and then Konnan turns it into a pendulum swing. Konnan then follows it up with an STF. Great combo of moves. Konnan gets slammed, and then takes a second rope moonsault from Kaos. Konnan hits a sledgehammer slam, (also known as the Alabama slam used by bob holly, also used by tacks and mike awesome) and then rolls through with the pin attempt, Kaos reverses and gets the 1-2-3. Konnan looks frustrated. Vampire vs. White trash Johnny web shows vamp hitting the nail in the coffin, and the ref counts 1-2 and the bell rings, with Rob Black XPW owner calling the match a draw. You screwed vamp! You Screwed Vamp! Next they show a triangle match involving Sandman, Vampiro, and Johnny Webb. Sandman is shown beating down both other men with the ladder. Sandman takes a suplex on the ladder from Vamp. Vamp hits the nail in the coffin on Sandman but before he can go for the cover, Rob black appears and gets a superkick from vamp for his troubles. In the meantime Johnny Webb sneaks in and covers Sandman for the 1-2-3. Supreme beats down more people, this time a kid playing video games in his garage, Supreme keeps asking him “what were you doing with her?” Terry Funk vs. Johnny Webb. Webb his terry with the Singapore cane and chairs, but terry fight back, the crowd then begins throwing all the chairs into the ring. Funk backdrops web into the thumbtacks, then sticks a flaming branding iron into webs posterior. Funk then blows some sort of juice into the fire and it a huge fire ball hits Webb in the face. Webb suplexes funk into the tacks. Webb small packages funk for the 1-2-3. Another hardcore outing between Kaos and Supreme is shown, we see Supreme thrown into a bed of nails, and we also see supreme frankensteinered to the outside through a barbwire-covered table, insane. Supreme covers Kaos in barbwire, and a board. And Moonsaults the board for the 1-2-3. Candido vs. Sabu is shown, Sabu hits a tornado DDT, Candido hits a top rope Frankensteiner, Sabu goes for a Legdrop on Candido through a table, but nobody’s home. Candido covers, Sabu is out. Sabu goes for another table legdrop, hits it, and gets the victory. Vignettes are shown, Johnny Webb gets slammed into a trash receptacle, and unknown person sets it on fire and it explodes. Webb vs. Kaos shows Kaos thrown into bed of nails, then supplied on into box of light bulbs, Kaos gets powerbombed into a thumb-tack table, Webb gets spinebustered into box of lights, Kaos misses a moonsault and dives into a pile of tacks, Rizatto interferes and hits Webb with a light, Kaos gets the win. Alter boys vs. Shady and un-named wrester is shown, great action. Grimes and Supreme are shown trading chair shots to the head, grimes falls out of the ring and there is an explosion, then grimes is shown being german suplexed into box of light bulbs. Grimes belly to bellies supreme into a barb wire pile, another explosion. Grimes in the ring, totally covered and wrapped in barb wire. Supreme places about 10 light bulbs over the barbwire on top of grimes. Then he runs and splashes the lights, wire, and grimes for the 1-2-3. Again, this has to be seen to be believed. Supreme is awarded the KOTDM title and the entire ring explodes. John Kronus is shown vs. Johnny Webb, Kronus gets suplexed into box of lights, and then gets top-rope bulldogged through a table from Webb. Webb gets the victory. Terry Funk vs. Sabu is shown. Funk goes after Sabu with flaming branding iron but someone blows fire on terry from the outside, then Sabu throws a fireball at terry funks h head, and grabs the branding iron, hits terry in the heat with it, and covers for the 3. Rob black VS Sabu. Sabu dropkicks, stomps, busts open black with a fork, black tries to escape but is brought back by a guy named lazy, rob black takes kick from Sabu. Battles back with punches, and a clout line. Rob black goes for triple jump moonsault. Sabu reverses and drop toeholds rob black. New Jack come in and throws Rob black in the ring! Which one is real rob black? Damien steel comes in and beats down Sabu, rob black (which one) gets the pin. Weird one to call sorry it’s a clip show. Kristi Myst is shown posing outside win bikini. Shane Douglas vs. Johnny Webb is shown, nothing too special here, Shane Douglas wins the match with Belly to Belly and takes home the XPW gold. Kronus Vs. Supreme is shown, supreme gests drop toe hold into box of tacks, it’s a barb wire match and supreme is shown getting Irish whipped into the barbwire so hard that he takes the barbwire with him as he falls to the outside. They cut to Axl Rotten vs. Supreme, cage match. Axl uses a sickle to cut open Supremes head. Axl throws supreme into bed of light bulbs, Axl throws supreme into a table, then throws him into a the cage door surrounding the ring. Back in cage supreme dives off second rope with a chair onto Axl, and gets the victory. New Jack comes out and cuts a promo about the scaffold match about to ensue. He says if he doesn’t beat grimes tonight he will retire from wrestling. New Jack then tells grimes to get out there. Grimes comes out. 40 Feet higher than the balcony level of the arena there is a scaffold (platform) Beneath it are 12 tables stacked 4 tables high, 3 rows. They fight for awhile before acending the scaffold, New Jack attacks Grimes with a stun gun before throwing him off the scaffold. This was truly sick. Grimes only breaks two of the tables before falling into the ropes of the ring and flipping over. Announcer says paramedics are coming, everyone get out of the building. Has to be seen to believe. And that’s it. I thought the PPV was great, and made me an instant XPW mark. I still prefer good in ring wrestling but it was nice to kick back an enjoy some tasteless hardcore action. But the highlight of the show was Kid Kaos. The guy is great on mic, great in the ring, and has a great look. NWA-TNA or WWE should sign him right away. Also Supreme has got to be he most hardcore wrestler ever. Thanx for reading. Derek Greser [email protected] Aim: Triplederek

I hate to break the news b/c I was looking forward to it, since I was gonna be in NJ next week and attend, but I just got word from Zandig that the free show scheduled for next weekend will be postponed. The venue wants them to run at 6:00, but CZW is unable to do that, as they were expecting to run at 2:00. The show - once again - will be postponed for a later date, probably the weekend right after next.

ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA) - - MLW is proud to announce the debut of "The Original Playa' From The Himilaya" Sonjay Dutt for its marquee summer show entitled Summer Apocalypse when MLW makes its way to the Coliseum located at 535 4th Ave N, in St. Petersburg, FL with a bell time of 7:30 PM with a show to not be missed. MLW will take fighting spirit to the underground when it sets a new standard in violence with its brand of hybrid wrestling with an event not to be missed on August 22nd. Tickets are now on sale online at: http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/864566 via charge-by-phone at: (727) 892-5202, and at all Ticketmaster outlets throughout Florida. Tickets start at just $10! -------------------------------------------------- MLW BACKSTAGE REPORT FOR JULY 31 by Andy Vineberg Well, I’m back from Hybrid Hell in Orlando, Florida and I must say I was very pleased with the show and hope MLW entertained the hell out of all of you! I met so may people at this show and I want to thank you all again for your continued support of MLW and your interest in the Backstage Report. There are several people I’d like to thank for all their help before I get into everything. The promoting efforts of Dan Kowal and the street team were superb as always. We appreciate everything you guys do for us! Matt Lare – you are the man and thanks for making all of us feel at home. Tommy Borho for all that he does for us backstage, Nick Ruotollo– our timekeeper is doing awesome for us, Charlie and Ken are the greatest cameramen in the world and we thank you guys as well. Anyone, I forgot….thanks for your support and help! Homicide and Jerry Lynn put on a pure 26 minute wrestling bout in Orlando. Homicide got the best of Jerry this time in the young Lions Challenge but you can bet Jerry will be more than prepared in St. Petersburg. Homicide did some awesome promos that you’ll be witnessing in the coming weeks on the Underground. He is such a talented young superstar and is really making a name for himself in this sport and in MLW Hybrid Wrestling. It’s so great to see Sinister Minister and Mikey Whipwreck back together again – Their chemistry is something very special and really makes for some great TV as well. If you look up the word professionalism in the dictionary you should see a picture of Doctor Death Steve Williams. Doc has so much heart for wrestling and will do whatever it takes to make MLW a sure success. He’s an awesome athlete and the older he gets, the tougher he gets. MLW is so thankful that we have the Doc in the house! Samu is another individual MLW is thankful to have. Samu is truly an asset to us during the event and serves as a locker room enforcer. Not to mention, he had a heck of a match with his partner Eki (the former Jamal of WWE's 3 Minutes) and went to the limit with Da Hit Squad. In St. Pete they have a rematch scheduled in a falls count anywhere in the building encounter. You are sure to see some Tea Bagging in this one... heck, maybe even on the seat next to yours! MLW and its matchmaker are heavily weighing actions against World Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino for his hanging of Terry Funk in Orlando, FL. That went above and beyond the normal level of conduct for fighters and risked both Funk's health and a potential riot by the fans in Orlando. You think the Super Bowl champs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers are over in Tampa/St. Petersburg? Wait until "Black Magic" Norman Smiley enters the ring. Smiley is so over!!! He’s such an entertaining wrestler and extremely talented as well. He’s a first class guy and it’s always a pleasure when the Wiggle comes to town. Terry Funk and Steve Corino really have some feud going on. As you heard this week, it’s getting more intense as Corino is sending Jerry "the King" Lawler as his next Bounty Hunter to our next event. Funk wants more than anything to get his hands on Corino and win the MLW gold. Will he get that shot? Only time will tell. Summer Apocalypse, the title of our next show in St. Petersburg on Aug 22nd will be a wild one for sure. Funk vs. King Lawler – what more can I say. These two have had a long and bitter feud that goes back over 2 decades and Corino figures if anyone can take out Funk…it’s the King himself, Jerry Lawler. A spike match has been signed where the steel spike that took down Christopher Daniels for nearly two months will be in play when the Fallen Angel and Sabu meet one-on-one. I can’t wait until the intergender match when Norman Smiley and GI Ho take on Michael Shane and Francine. Francine and the nephew of HBK Michael Shane (yes, he insists on me calling him that even in the reports) are training extra hard for this one. Punk has also challenged Raven to a straight edge rules match. What are those rules? Punk isn't saying... yet. There's also Homicide vs. Lynn in the Young Lions Challenge 2, the Global Tag-Team Crown title match, and so much more. We'll cover it all a bit more extensively as we get closer to the big summer showdown in a few weeks. Tickets are now on sale online at:http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/864566 via charge-by-phone at: (727) 892-5202, and at all Ticketmaster outlets throughout Florida. Tickets start at just $10! Be sure to get yours today. The feeling of Summer Apocalypse is very similar to last September's Reload event with the buzz and stellar matches. Everyone is talking about this one and I too am anticipating this show very much. How can you not be when the King himself, Jerry Lawler is on his way to do battle with Terry Funk. And the chatter about some very interesting international names on their way in for the event. Who? Stay tuned. Rich Criado made a very impressive debut last week. He worked two matches and the guy has the mouth of Jim Cornette with the arsenal of someone from Michinoku Pro Wrestling. The Perfect Creation surly made a name for himself last weekend in Orlando. Fans at the show were very impressed with this young grappler. For those looking for more on this MLW newcomer, you may want to check out some of his work for Carlos Colon's WWC Puerto Rico group in the late 1990s when he toured with their office. The May 9 Revolutions, June 20 Hybrid Hell: Barbed Wired at the Beach!, and July 26 Rise of the Renegades: 2 at Tabu shows will all be available on VHS at the August 22nd show in St. Petersburg for just $20 each! All three were tremendous shows. Be sure to get your copies of MLW at its best! TV for next week will hot for sure: Corino vs. Awesome for the title, DHS vs. Samoans, and CW Anderson vs. Doc Death Steve Williams. I guarantee you this will be more entertaining than any other wrestling program on TV next Monday night. MLW is currently scouting several outstanding young heavy and junior heavyweights. Look for some new top talent on its way soon! Sonjay Dutt's entrance into Hybrid Wrestling is near as he makes his debut for MLW on Aug 22nd. I saw a tape of Sonjay last year and knew he was tremendous then and is leagues better now. MLW fans are really going to enjoy seeing Sonjay in action. Jonathan Figuero and Veronica Carrejo have both been let go by MLW. We expect Taiyo Kea back in December or January. He's been adding a great deal of muscle to his physique and is up to 270 lbs. Expect the Sun Devil to make a big impact in MLW Hybrid Wrestling when he returns. PJ Friedman had corrective orbital surgery today in Manhattan to further repair damage to his eye. He is still in extensive physical therapy for his shoulder and has yet to regain full mobility in his arm. The outlook on a return is not very bright at this point. Nonetheless, the cordial one continues to show his dedication to MLW by coming out to each event showing his support for us. Thanks to wrestletalklive.com crew for stopping by the show in Orlando. Guys, if ya get a chance be sure to check out GI Ho’s website atwww.hardcoreho.com. You’ll thank me you did, Also check out the interview I did on www.MLWZone.cjb.net. I discuss MLW, Extreme Horsemen, Funk, and so much more. It’s a good read. The Maximos are calling out every team in the world and how it should be very interesting to see who answers this challenge come August 22nd. In fact, we may know very soon. For 2 great MLW message boards, check out:http://pub56.ezboard.com/bmlwzone and http://www.mlwfan.com/talkback. CM Punk is currently on tour in Japan for the critically acclaimed Zero-One promotion and we've heard nothing but rave reviews of his matches. Congrats to the Chicago elitist! MLW has come to terms with a top heavyweight who will becoming a regular in MLW starting September 19th. Who? Stay tuned... Speaking of new talent coming in, expect a certain world class revolutionary junior heavyweight to make his debut this Fall in MLW Hybrid Wrestling. I am unable to tip off just who yet, but stay tuned to Underground TV in the coming weeks for more details. Mark down September 22nd. That's the kick off date for the new season for Underground TV. That’s all for this week. I’m still recovering from O-town – the town that seems to never sleep. Next week, I’ll have a ton more info and gossip from last weekend and have more information about Summer Apocalypse. Have a great week, my friends and thanks again for all your support of Major League Wrestling, Andy Vineberg [email protected]

it's not illegal, consdierng the warning message on EA's site is sufficient warning to those against porno. If they access the site, they have to go through that, so the whole thing is being done via a loop in the law system. it's unlikely it'll go very far. Califa Lucha Libre Estilo debuted at the Roccapulco Night Club in San Francisco, CA on 8/3. They drew an estimated 200 (about 80% capacity) for their first effort. The building itself is great, although it is in what I`m told is a very bad neighborhood. Mad Mikey (Crash Holly) made three appearances on the show, including refereeing the match between Donovan Morgan and Michael Modest for the Pro Wrestling NOAH jr. heavyweight title. Modest and Morgan had what was reportedly a strong match, which started as a straight wrestling bout before becoming a hardcore brawl all over the building. Mikey counted them both out, then said he was declaring it a falls count anywhere match. Modest gave Morgan several suplexes on his head and then gave him his finisher, the reality check (kryptonite krunch) for the pin. Holly attacked Morgan afterward and gave him his old finisher from his Northern California Erin O`Grady days. Vic Grimes came out. He and Mikey then had a back-and-forth on the mic. Mikey and Grimes have legit heat with each other, which led to some, shall we say, entertaining comments. Holly remarked, ``I had to carry that fat bastard Albert to a good match many times.`` Point for Holly. He also said he got the Hardcore belt over in the WWF more than Mick Foley or Grimes ever could have. He lost me on that one. Mikey talked about he and Grimes making it to WWE based on their matches in Northern California together (for Roland Alexander`s All Pro Wrestling in 1997), and then he made it and Grimes didn`t. Grimes accused Holly of selling his car and not paying him for it. Lots of profanity. The whole point of this was to set up a match between the two at the next show. They didn`t announce a date, just shot angles to set up matches for it. By the way, somewhere in there, Holly said, ``If you wrestling fans want to learn about the business, read Matt Hardy`s book, chapters eleven and especially eight.`` I don`t know why, but I found that hilarious. Grimes won a three way match over Vinny Massaro and Dynamite D. It was supposed to be a four way with Altar Boy Luke and Kaos in there too, but ring announcer Ron Hed said he was stuck at a NAMBLA meeting. (Hed, incidentally, is moving this week to Louisville to work for OVW.) Kaos' no-show wasn't given an explanation. Massaro and Grimes were once tag partners in APW, with Massaro working as Little Dic Grimes. J.R. Benson managed D. Just a wild brawl with all sorts of weapons used. It didn`t go long but was good while it was going. Grimes press slammed Benson at one point onto Massaro and D, who were fighting outside. Grimes took a double suplex onto a stack of chairs. The SAT`s came in for their second California match, this one vs. the Thomaselli Brothers. This was reportedly a real good match with crisply-executed high spots. Maximos got over well. Apollo Khan & Hook Bomberry from IRON beat Bulldog Brian Raymond & ``Trendsetter`` Adam Thornstowe. Khan is reportedly impressive. He now sports bleached hair. Sara del Ray (Nikki) did an open challenge that was answered by Angel (former ``Hardcore Homo`` from XPW). They called this the battle of the bitches. Sara went over. She is leaving 8/20 for a very lengthy (three months-plus) tour of Japan. Another XPW veteran, Pogo the Clown, worked a tag match at this show. They called him Pogo the Paysaso Assassino (Assassin Clown). The actual main event was Scorpio Jr. retaining the IWRG Intercontinental title beating Rockero del Diablo in a short match. Scorpio had American Wild Child in his corner, while Apollo Khan was with Rockero. Courtesy of 1Wrestling.com's Moonsaults column I wrote this recap for HouseOfXtreme.com: The 8/3 Califa Lucha Libre Estilo debut show called Mexican Standoff in San Francisco, CA featured several XPW stars. Mad Mikey (Crash Holly/Erin O'Grady) had a very heated confrontation with a guy who he has real-life heat with dating back to his APW days, "Vicious" Vic Grimes. Grimes beat Dynamite D (w/ another of Grimes' heated rivals [although not in real-life; they're very good friends], J.R. Benson, who managed SNUFF in XPW) and Vinnie Massaro in a three-way match. Altar Boy Luke and Kaos were supposed to compete in the match with Massaro and Grimes (it was supposed to be a four-way match), but Ron Hed of XPW, who served as the ring announcer for the show, said that Luke was stuck at a NAMBLA meeting (?). Kaos' no-show was given no explanation. Also on the show: - Sara del Ray (a.k.a. Nikki) made one of her last U.S. appearances before leaving on 8/20 for a lengthy tour of Japan. She made an open challenge that was answered by "The Hardcore Homo" Angel. They fought in the "Battle of the Bitches." Sara won the match. Angel's match was changed last minute. He was originally scheduled to team with American Wild Child (AWC in XPW) & Jon Jon The Phenomenon vs. XPW stars The Aerial Express (Quicksilver & Scorpio Sky) & Kid Omega, but that match was changed. - Pogo the Clown wrestled on the show as Pogo the Payaso Asesino (Assassin Clown). He was accompanied by Shane Dynasty and teamed with Chupacabras against DESTRUKTOR & Super Diablo.

IPW Hardcore and NWA Florida Wrestling came together at the Florida WrestlePlex on a rainy Saturday August 2, 2003 to host “Total Domination.” There were many surprises during the show, many that helped shape the card for IPW’s 5th anniversary show: Reign in Blood II, which will be held on Saturday August 16, 2003 in the Pinellas Expo Hall. On to the results from a hard hitting show: Fritz brought his client referee Billy the Kid to the ring to officiate a cruiserweight contender’s match between Sedrick Strong and “Mr. 630” Jerrelle Clark. Both men had control of the contest but neither could get the pin. Clark hit a 420 splash but Strongs legs were in the ropes as Clark went for the pin. Sedrick came back with a spear to Clark’s body but could only get a two count, but he caught Clark with the “Muscle Buster” for the win. Both competitors shook hands after the hard fought contest. A rematch from “Collateral Damage” saw the Midnight Freebirds (Havoc & Naphtali) take on Pat Powers & Pat McGroin of Double Deuce Inc. (with Uptown Frankie Capone & Cannon.) Due to their actions in the previous contest, referee Richie Rich ordered Capone and Cannon banned from ringside. Havoc and Naphtali took it to Powers early on. They had control until Naphtali went for an Irish whip and he met McGroin’s knee which landed in his back. Naphtali repaid McGroin by getting him in a “Tarantula.” Powers broke it up and then he and McGroin assaulted Naphtali for several minutes, but they couldn’t finish the self-proclaimed heel off. Havoc got back in the match and helped Naphtali wear down the Pats. Victory looked to be with the Midnight Freebirds as Naphtali rolled up McGroin but Powers had Havoc’s shoulders on the mat at the same time. Referee Richie Rich counted both pins and declared the bout a draw. A table was set up in the ring as fans witnessed the signing of a contract for an August 16th match between Mikey Tenderfoot and his hated rival Rod Steel of the Alliance of Defiance, who came to the ring with the new Florida Unified Heavyweight champion, Scoot Andrews. Before Tenderfoot made his way to the ring, Andrews told the crowd his title match later in the evening with Lex Lovett would only be for the IPW World title. "Hot Ass” Amy Love came to the ring with a USPS box addressed to the AOD c/o the Florida WrestlePlex. Inside it was a knee brace, could it be from…..? Tenderfoot made his way to the ring and the overanxious Steel singed the contract and insulted Tenderfoot. Mikey got the microphone and told the crowd and Steel that he didn’t read the fine print and he had signed a contract to face Tenderfoot in an “I QUIT MATCH!!!” Mikey tried to have a match tonight but Andrews tossed powder in Tenderfoot’s eyes, blinding him long enough for Steel to put Tenderfoot through the table with a “Sky High.” Lex Lovett came out with a chair, running off the AOD from doing further damage to the fallen Tenderfoot. Lovett told Andrews he didn’t send the knee brace and he didn’t care about which title was on the line, he was coming for Andrews. Next on the show was a three way dance between Pretty Fly (with Bolles Azoles & Austintacious), Hotshot (w /Ipuna) and Chasyn Rance (with Mister Saint Laurent). Even referee Billy the Kid had someone at the crowed ringside, his manager Fritz. Hotshot and Fly used their size to try and wear down the quicker Rance. Rance fought back and almost had victory by hitting Fly with a springboard elbow, but only got a 2 count. Hotshot was taken out of the match as he got into a fight with Azoles. This left Fly to get the victory by pinning Rance who was rolled up as he went to hit Fly with a “Dudley Dog.” Next was a rematch of sorts from “Collateral Damage” as “Suicidal Tendencies” Sean Allen (with Dennis Allen) took on the vastly popular Navy Seal. Sean and Dennis used every dirty trick they knew but could get Seal’s shoulders to the mat for the three count. Seal fought back and had victory in hand until Dennis entered the ring and the Allen’s went for a double team clothesline, but Seal countered with a clothesline of his own. Seal scored the win with a modified “Razor’s Edge.” IPW Hardcore champion Mideon made his return to the WrestlePlex to defend against the #1 contender, Chaos. Mideon used Chaos’ own blade to cut the challenger’s forehead open. He then used a chain to open the wound up and tried to cut off his air by choking him out. Chaos fought back with several shots to the groin, then used his wrist tape to try and choke the champion out but could only get a 2 count. Mideon fought back with several right handed fists and headbutts, but he missed a second rope splash. Chaos hit a DDT which brought the hardcore beast, Kubiak out to fight his hated rival. An attempted double team backfired and Chaos scored a pin over Mideon to become the New IPW Hardcore champion. Kubiak was not done as he joined Mideon in double teaming Chaos. This brought out the returning NEW JACK! During the brawl, Kubiak and New Jack broke the TOP ROPE OF THE RING!!! New Jack got the microphone and asked Chaos to team with him to take on Mideon and Kubiak at the August 16th anniversary show. New Jack told the crowd he had become a resident of Tampa or "What You White People Call a Floridian" and to notify the local police departments that he was in town. The IPW staff quickly repaired the ring and the rest of the show went on without a bottom rope. AOD member Agent Steele came to the ring with Scoot Andrews but minus the lovely Sexretary Tiffany. Steele told the fans that Tiffany was not in the building as she was occupied with “domestic duties.” He also told he crowd that his scheduled opponent JR Ryder or as Steele called him “JR Rider from North Carolina basketball fame” was not in the building either due to a shoulder injury. Steele decided to host the “Agent Steele Rookie Challenge.” This brought out a very large masked man whose body tattoos made him look an awful lot like….nevermind. The masked man and Steele took it to each other throughout the match. The masked man hit Steele with the “Malicious Intent,” the finisher of….nevermind. This brought Rod Steel and Roderick Strong to the ring to help beat down the masked man. Lex Lovett came to the ring with a folding chair to save the masked man from certain doom. “Uptown” Frankie Capone and the rest of Double Deuce Inc. came to the ring to take on fan favorite Comic Book Guy Anderson, who came with Lennox, Pretty Fly, “the Godfather” Mark Zout and “the Great Zoubolski” Job Zout. Both groups tried to help their man out during the contest. CBGA had things under control until an attempted corner shoulder tackle of Capone turned into a shoulder tackle of the ringpost. Capone immediately went to work on the injured left shoulder. CBGA was able to get his second wind back but it was shut down by the “Markfather” who in trying to help CBGA get the win, cost him the win by kicking him in the face instead of Capone, who then rolled up the knocked out CBGA for the win. CBGA and Zout had to be separated by their fellow comrades after the match. “The Rat Magnet” David Babylon came to the ring to take on the new IPW Television champion “the Modern Miracle” Steve Madison with his never at a loss for words manager “the Hardcore Giant” Ron Niemi. Niemi thanked the crowd for braving the weather and coming to the Plex and show why IPW is the King of the Florida Indies. He then guaranteed Madison would walk out of the ring with the TV title. Both men traded chops and forearms trying to gain an advantage. Babylon got control for a few moments with high flying moves but couldn’t secure the three count. Madison fired back with a sick Axe Bomber, a back breaker and brainbuster to the get the victory and retain the IPW TV title. The former Florida Unified Cruiserweight champion Justice came to the ring to challenge the new champion, Roderick Strong. Strong came to the ring with new ring attire and a new mean streak. He dipped into has bag of backbreakers early by hitting Justice with a half-nelson backbreaker. Justice came back with a tornado DDT but Strong countered with two backbreakers and a straight jacket camel clutch. Justice came back with several martial arts kicks and punches to the champion’s body but Strong snuck in a flipping Canadian backbreaker. Strong was able to hold onto the titles by hitting Justice with the C-X. The NWA Florida/IPW world tag team title war continued in the form of a six man match between the Vandalz (Johnny, Rick & Tommy) and the Shane Brothers and the “Hardcore Giant” Ron Niemi. Niemi played hit and run throughout the entire match. The six man bout was turned in to a 3 on 2 match as the Shane’s turned Johnny into a lawn dart by Press Slamming him onto the rampway. While Johnny was taken to the back for medical assistance, the Shane’s then attempted to injure Tommy. Tommy survived several near pins and was able to tag Ricky in, who took his anger out on all three members of 911 Inc. This was stopped as the Shane’s hit Ricky and Tommy with a double team chokeslam. Johnny re-emerged from the locker room with a great size reducer, a folding chair. He tagged Mike and Todd in the back and saved the worst blow for Niemi who was hit in the back of the head, knocking him out. This allowed Johnny to pin Niemi and get the win for the Vandalz. Ron Niemi’s evening ended in a trip to the St. Pete General emergency room for 11 staples to close a large wound on the back of the head. The evening’s main event saw the New IPW World champion Scoot Andrews (with Agent Steele) defend against the man who felt he was robbed at “Collateral Damage,” Lex Lovett. Both men used their technical skills to try and get control of the bout. Lovett got control by attacking Andrews’ left arm, but Andrews got control back with a sit-out powerbomb. Steele took some free shots at Lovett as Andrews distracted referee Richie Rich. Andrews hit a leg lariat but only got a two count. Lovett countered an Irish whip and slid into an armbar submission, which Andrews did not submit to. An attempted top rope head scissor by Lovett was countered by Andrews into an “Alabama Slam.” Lovett recovered to slap on a crossface submission but didn’t get Andrews to tap as Andrews held his arm up before the third fall. Andrews got to his feet and hit a second sit-out powerbomb for a two count. Andrews again tossed Lovett to the outside so Steele could do more damage. Andrews countered an attempted armbar by Lovett into a double arm second rope slam for a two count. Lovett caught Andrews off guard and hit the champion with a rolling neckbreaker, which also did damage to the already injured left arm. Lovett reapplied the armbar, which made Andrews TAP OUT!!!! Lex Lovett wins the IPW World title!!! His celebration was cut short by Agent Steele, who blindsided Lovett. This brought out the mysterious masked man with a folding chair. The masked man hit Steele with the chair and then turned his attention the injured Andrews. The masked man removed his mask to reveal he was ANTONIO BANKS!!!! Banks repaid Andrews for injuring his knee three months ago by attacking Andrews’ arm with a severe chairshot, which made Andrews scream out in anguish and pain. Banks then handed the IPW World title belt to the new champion LEX LOVETT!!! Andrews left the WrestlePlex still the NWA Florida champion but also with a large ice bag on his injured left forearm. Pre-sale is available at the Alternative Wrestling Shop (Booth #800) at Frank and Son's on Wednesday from 4:00-9:00 pm, at which tickets are Ringside $15/General Admission $10 adult, $5 children. At this show, Super Dragon defends his Jr. Heavyweight title against young Scorpio Sky. Plus for the first time lucha star Psicosis takes on Kaos! Also former tag partners Mr. Excitement and Angel collide. Lucha Libre action with MLLH champ King Faviano locking up with Shamu Jr. and MUCH MORE! Revolution Pro Jr. Heavyweight Title Super Dragon defends against Scorpio Sky Fresh off his classic match against TARO on last month's how, Super Dragon faces his very first challenger for his Junior heavyweight title... Scorpio Sky. This young superstar has quickly risen to main event status with great showings against teams such as Damian 666/Halloween, Mr. Excitement/Angel, Disco Machine/Chris Bosh, and last but certainly not least TARO and Super Dragon. In that contest, Scorpio Sky along with his Aerial Express tag partner Quicksilver scored a pinfall victory over Super Dragon. Can lightning strike twice without the help of Quicksilver? Or will the two-time Junior heavyweight champion Super Dragon prove again why he has been the very best in Revolution Pro The "Millionaire" vs. The "Superstar" Psicosis "Nicho el Millonario" vs. "Rock Superstar" Kaos The former longest reigning XPW Television champion "The Rock Superstar" Kaos makes his very first in-ring return to Southern California as he takes on the internationally known Psicosis! These two aren't strangers as they have battled each other in classic three way matches in XPW. But they have never wrestled each other one on one before. This will mark the second time Rev Pro fans have the opportunity to see Psicosis since November's anniversary show. Can "The Rock Superstar" prove that he can defeat Psicosis in a one on one environment? Or can the former WWA Welterweight champion and WCW Cruiserweight champion prove that Kaos's wins in the past were a fluke. You definitely don't want to miss this one. Caliente Collision Mr. Excitement vs. Angel Last month, fresh off their first round win against Black Metal and Zokre, Angel asked his tag team partner Mr. Excitement out on a date after the tag tournament. After declining, they went on to lose in the second round against The Aerial Express. After the match, Angel again pleaded just for one date now that the tournament ended. After gently breaking Angel's heart and saying they were just TAG team partners in the ring and not outside, Angel went berserk and attacked Excitement from behind. Now the team of "El Caliente" battle one on one in the biggest breakup since Justin and Brittany. But, if you look past the hatred, these two are amazingly talented and it will be a pleasure to see them battle it out! Mexican Lucha Libre Heavyweight Title: King Faviano defends against Shamu Jr. King Favi won his first Revolution Pro title 6 months ago in Feb by beating Black Metal in the middle of the ring. Faviano has defended the title many times since that victory in battles with former champ Jason Allgood, tough Babi Slymm, and that EVIL Lonestar. This Saturday Favi will be in for a real tough fight as he defends his title against Local luchadore, Shamu Jr. Shamu has proven rather it be in Compton, The Grand Olympic, or numerous venues throughout L.A. that is he one of the toughest Rudos out there. Not many can man handle him due to his size or keep up with his agility and of course watch out for his Rudo ways. Lucha Libre action coming your way in this MLLH Title match. There will also be Qualifying Matches for the 3rd Revolution J Tournament that will be taking place near the end of September. The competitors of these two contests would be announced sometime this week. Plus much more including surprises as always...

IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling presented the first night of the 2003 King of the Death Matches on Friday night, August 1st at the IWA Arena in Clarksville, Indiana. Here's what went down... 1. JERRY LYNN def. "Barbaric Berzerker" JIMMY JACOBS in a non-tournament matchup when Lynn countered the Contra Code and gave Jacobs a cradle tombstone piledriver to gain the pinfall victory. 2. MICKIE KNUCKLES def. HAILEY in Mickie's wrestling debut. Mickie sustained a concussion during the contest after a brutal forearm shot from Hailey. As Hailey was going for a fisherman buster, Mickie countered with an inside cradle for the win. Post-match, Hailey powerbombed Mickie head first on a steel chair. 3. MAD MAN PONDO def. "Spyder" NATE WEBB (w/ BECKY BAYLESS) in a High Impact Tables Match. Webb hit a splash off the 2nd beam on the wall next to the Spyder's Nest putting Pondo through two tables, as Bayless watched on inside the ring. Just as Nate was about to cover Pondo, LOLLIPOP hit the ring and attacked Bayless. Webb's attention was taken off of Pondo as he returned to the ring to pull his former valet off of Becky. Once Lollipop was taken away from ringside, Webb it a light tube moonsault onto Pondo on a table, but the table didn't break, and Pondo stood right up, got on top of Webb, and gave him a piledriver off the ropes through the table for the victory. 4. "Mean" MITCH PAGE (w/ JIM FANNIN) def. ROLLIN' HARD in a Taipei Death Match. Rollin' executed the flaming karate chop during the bout. Page scored the three count following Turn The Page (his version of the Rock Bottom) after Jim Fannin sprayed mace in Rollin's eyes. 5. BALLS MAHONEY def. HORACE THE PSYCHOPATH in a Barbed Wire Baseball Bat & Barbed Wire Boards Match. Mahoney gave Horace a chairshot while standing on the ring apron above a table with a barbed wire board on top of it, knocking Horace on top of the table. Balls hit an elbowdrop off the apron through the table for the victory. 6. JC BAILEY def. 2 TUFF TONY in a Barbed Wire Tables & Electrified Light Tubes Match. Bailey took the 2 Tuff Driver off the apron through a barbed wire table on the floor, and several other devastating maneuvers, but Tony pulled Bailey up after the ref counted two each time. Finally Tony was going for the Driver off the 2nd rope onto electrified light tubes, but Bailey countered with a sunset bomb onto it for the win. 7. ALEX SHELLEY def. SONJAY DUTT in a very fast paced back and forth junior heavyweight non-tournament contest with his version of the Darkness Driver. After the match, ADAM FLASH hit the ring and joined Dutt in working over Shelley until JIMMY JACOBS ran out from the locker room to make the save. Jacobs got on the mic and said that if anybody was going to kick Shelley's ass it was gonna be him, not two guys from CZW. Dutt and Flash then challenged the two to a CZW vs. IWA tag team matchup for Saturday night. Jacobs and Shelley accepted. 8. AXL ROTTEN def. CORPORAL ROBINSON in a Fans Bring The Weapons Match when THE MESSIAH hit the ring and drove Robinson through several light tubes set up between two chairs. Rotten was on the outside of the ring recovering from Robinson's attack and didn't see Messiah's interference before crawling into the ring and covering him to get the victory. Robinson got on the mic and vowed he'd get his hands on Messiah for costing him the tournament before the weekend is done. 9. NICK GAGE def. DYSFUNCTION in a Four Corners Of Pain Match following a brainbuster in a pit of thumbtacks brought inside the ring. 10. THE NECRO BUTCHER def. "Mr. Insanity" TOBY KLEIN in a Fans Bring The Weapons Match with the Asiatic Spike. 11. IAN ROTTEN def. THE MESSIAH in the East Coast Thumbtack Death Match. Fans from the east coast brought over 176,000 thumbtacks for the bout. During the match, Messiah took Rotten's boots and socks off of his feet, leaving Ian to wrestle barefoot for the final minutes of the match. As Messiah was going to superplex Rotten off the top rope, CORPORAL ROBINSON attacked Messiah and gave him a 2nd rope Boot Camp, setting up Rotten gaining the pinfall. Messiah grabbed the mic after the match and told Robinson he wanted a match with him on Saturday night, and said he will put the CZW Heavyweight Championship on the line. 12. CHRIS HERO def. HOMICIDE to retain the IWA World Heavyweight Title via tap out after hitting the Hero's Welcome and locking in the Hangman's Clutch in the center of the ring. These two battled for upwards of 25 minutes of back and forth American strong style action. After the bell, DANNY DANIELS, who was suspended by IWA management for his actions a few weeks ago, gave Hero a piledriver on the title belt, and piledrove referee BRIAN GORIE as well. Homicide came to Hero's aid, attacking Daniels, until BJ WHITMER ran into the ring and gave Homicide a brainbuster. Finally the locker room cleared and security threw Daniels out of the building. Whitmer got on the mic and told Homicide that he wants revenge from Homicide busting his nose in New Jersey a few weeks ago, and would have no problem doing it in the IWA Mid-South if that's what it takes. A match was set for Saturday night's card between the two. Hero got on the mic and asked Rotten to make a match with him and Daniels for night two, but Ian refused, citing that Daniels is no longer employed by IWA Mid-South. Hero gave Rotten an ultimatum in response, saying that IWA just lost CM Punk, and if Ian didn't allow him to fight Daniels on Saturday night, he just lost Chris Hero as well. Rotten gave in and agreed to allow Hero to wrestle Daniels, and said it would be held under Texas Death Match rules. The show was filmed by Smart Mark Video, complete with backstage interviews after the matches. Commentary was done by Dave Prazak, Steve Stone, Nate Webb, and Ian Rotten. The footage shot by SMV will be used by Samurai TV. The tournament will wrap up tonight, Saturday, August 2nd, at the IWA Arena (1390 Woerner Avenue) in Clarksville, IN. Tickets remain in the $20 & $18 seating areas, and will be available at the door. Bell time is 7:30pm Eastern for Saturday's card. Here's a look at some of the matches that will take place on Saturday night... ***Fans Bring The Weapons*** IAN ROTTEN vs. BALLS MAHONEY ***Light Tube Coffin Match*** THE NECRO BUTCHER vs. JC BAILEY ***Light Tube Tables Match*** AXL ROTTEN vs. MAD MAN PONDO ***Barbed Wire Canvas/Light Tube Ropes*** NICK GAGE vs. "Mean" MITCH PAGE ***IWA World Heavyweight Title Match/Texas Death*** [Champion] CHRIS HERO vs. DANNY DANIELS ***CZW Versus IWA Challenge*** SONJAY DUTT & ADAM FLASH vs. ALEX SHELLEY & JIMMY JACOBS ***CZW Heavyweight Title/Grudge Match*** [Champion] THE MESSIAH vs. CORPORAL ROBINSON BJ WHITMER vs. HOMICIDE "Classic" COLT CABANA vs. NIGEL McGUINNESS BULL PAIN vs. JIM FANNIN Thirteen matches in all are scheduled to take place during Saturday's card. The stipulations for the finals of the tournament are multi-fold. For more info, check out IWAMidSouthWrestling.com. <<Speaking of IWA-MS's KOTDM Tournament - it will occur tonight and tomorrow (8/1 and 8/2) in Clarksville, IN and has been highly anticipated by IWA-MS and hardcore wrestling fans for the last couple of months. The bell time for Friday night will be 8 pm EST, while Saturday night's card will begin at 7:30 pm EST due to the larger number of matches that are scheduled will take place. IWA-MS will also be holding a Q&A session, which will be filmed by SMV for video release, on Saturday afternoon. Admission to the Q&A session will be $5 for those not a part of the east coast bus trip. The first round matches of the tournament (including the stipulation of each match) are listed below: - Barbed Wire Tables & Electrified Light Tubes DM: 2 Tuff Tony vs. IWA-MS Light Heavyweight Champion JC Bailey (non-title match) - Four Corners of Pain DM: CZW star "Hardcore" Nick Gage vs. Dysfunction - Taipei DM: Deranged vs. "Mean" Mitch Page - Barbed Wire Baseball Bat & Barbed Wire Boards DM: Former-ECW star Balls Mahoney vs. Horace the Psychopath - Fans Bring the Weapons Match: Former-ECW star Axl Rotten vs. Corporal Robinson - Fans Bring The Weapons Match: Necro Butcher vs. "Mr. Insanity" Toby Klein - High Impact Tables Match (the pin must take place after the opponent is put through a table following a maneuver off an elevated surface): Madman Pondo vs. "Spyder" Nate Webb - East Coast Thumbtack DM: Former-ECW star & IWA-MS Owner Ian Rotten vs. CZW World Heavyweight Champion The Messiah (non-title match) The non-tournament matches that will be held on the KOTDM weekend are: - IWA referee Mickie makes her in-ring debut against Hailey! - Jerry Lynn wrestles "The Barbaric Berzerker" Jimmy Jacobs! - Homicide makes his ROH debut against Chris Hero! - "Classic" Colt Cabana, Alex Shelley, Nigel McGuinness, and others" will also be in action. JC Bailey, Corporal Robinson, Necro Butcher, "Spyder" Nate Webb, and Ian Rotten will be wrestling in a death match tournament for the second straight weekend. Necro advanced to the second round of CZW's Tournament of Death 2 last weekend before being eliminated by Rotten, while Bailey, Robinson, and Webb were eliminated in the first round. Rotten advanced to the finals of the show before losing to "Sick" Nick Mondo, who thereby won the event. Mondo was actually scheduled to compete in the IWA-MS tournament this weekend, but pulled out of it a few weeks ago, citing the understandable concern of competing in death match tournaments two weekends in a row. Besides losing a gallon or so of blood during the event, Mondo also suffered a broken wrist. Until Tuesday, "Mean" Mitch Page's opponent was scheduled to be "Lowlife" Louie Ramos, but according to the latest IWA-MS newsletter, published Wednesday, "Lowlife" Louie Ramos has pulled himself out of the tournament due to schedule conflicts. Louie posted a public apology for the abrupt cancellation on the IWAMidSouthWrestling.com message board on Wednesday. Deranged, who participated in IWA's 2001 KOTDM tournament and CZW's Extreme 8 a few months ago, will replace Louie and will wrestle Page in the tournament. It would be interesting to have Axl and Balls advance to the second round, which would provide fans with an ECW-style battle between two former-ECW tag team partners. I doubt that it'll happen though, as I have a feeling that Corporal Robinson will advance over Axl. Don't take me up on that point, though, if I'm wrong. Most people are favoring JC Bailey to advance at least to the second round, but don't be surprised to see him in the finals, either. He's really starting to become a popular worker on the indy circuit and unlike many of the others competing in this event, he is also a solid wrestler and not just brawler. As for my prediction, in all honesty, I haven't seen any recent IWA-MS shows, so I haven't seen most of the guys scheduled compete before (besides Axl, Ian, Messiah, Necro, Klein, and Pondo), so it's hard to determine who I think would be most benefited by winning the tournament or who - based on who they're scheduled to battle - is most likely to win their first round match. However, after using the knowledge I do have about the workers booked in the event, I'm going to select Webb as the winner of the tournament after beating Bailey in the finals. QUESTIONANABLE BOOKING BY IWA-MS AND CZW I also would like to bring up the supposed logic of booking Ian Rotten and Messiah against one another, but that actually brings me to a more broad topic, because I also plan to discuss the logic of the booking of CZW's next show, which I question. Firstly, let's discuss Ian and Messiah's match with each other. Like others have alluded to already, I don't understand the logic in booking such a match. Hi-V (pronnounced "High Five") - the stable of which Messiah is the leader) assisted Ian in pinning CZW owner John Zandig at CZW Deja Vu 2 two weeks ago and then after the match, Zandig and a bunch of other CZW wrestlers chased Hi-V out of Viking Hall and down the street as the show ended. So, Hi-V seems to be not only be in opposition of Zandig (Ian's current arch-enemy), but also in full support of Ian. So, it's quite wierd that Ian and Messiah would be wrestling each other in a first round match. IWA-MS isn't the only promotion whose next show possesses some questionable booking. The same goes for CZW Aftermath, whill will occur on August 9 at Viking Hall. The highest profile match announced so far is what is deemed a "F%$k the IWA Match" between IWA-MS wrestlers Ian Rotten, Necro Butcher, Corporal Robinson, and "Spyder" Nate Webb. Plus, Zandig will apparently be announcing the stipulations of the match. Although pro wrestling isn't always the most logical form of soap opera (Why would Akeen The African Dream, a former-WWF wrestler, be portrayed by a white man and not a black man, considering he was supposed to be African?), a bit of attention - at the least - being paid to the storyline would be appreciated, yet Zandig doesn't seem to be following such a formula. Once again, like others have questioned, I am completely unclear on why the IWA-MS competitors are participating in this match, for a number of reasons: - Considering that a war between CZW and IWA-MS is occurring, it seems pretty illogical to have any IWA-MS wrestlers - let alone four of them - wrestling each other, unless it's on an IWA-MS show (which this isn't). The IWA-MS wrestlers should be busy waging battle against the wrestlers of CZW, not against themselves. - Why would the IWA-MS wrestlers - in storyline - even agree to participate in this match? They know - of course - that they should be fighting the CZW guys and not themselves (as already mentioned), but also let's not forget that this match will occur on a CZW show and not an IWA-MS show, which means that none of them should have any contract or anything like that forcing them to compete on a CZW show. Common logic would obviously cause them to just refuse to perform in the match and instead just do what they've been doing since the beginning of the CZW-IWA invasion angle - attack CZW performers. - Considering the match's name is meant to rip on IWA-MS, why would the IWA-MS wrestlers agree to wrestle a match with such a stipulation? - Fans already saw Necro Butcher pin Corporal Robinson a week ago in T.O.D.'s first round and Ian pin Necro in the second round. This makes me wonder two things - 1. why the first round match between Necro and Robinson even occurred, considering that - once again - the IWA-MS wrestlers shouldn't be fighting each other on a CZW show (unless they both won their first round matches and ended up randomly being matched up in the second round, which isn't the case with the Necro/Robinson match) and 2. why Necro, Robinson, or Ian are fighting again at the next CZW show when Necro proved he was a better hardcore wrestler than Robinson by winning their first round match and Ian - in turn - proved that he was a better hardcore wrestler than Necro by winning their second round match. If Zandig is going to be so illogical and book IWA-MS wrestlers against each other, then at least have them be someone like JC Bailey, Nate Webb, or Robinson, alll of whom were eliminated in the first round of the CZW event.
