- Sabu turned down a contract offer in 1993. He worked two dark matches vs. Owen Hart and one vs. Scott Taylor (Scotty 2 Hotty) and Vince offered him a contract, but to Vince's shock, he said no because he wanted to help out the upstart ECW, which hadn't even turned into Extreme Championship Wrestling by that point. - New Jack was contacted to be brought in in 1998 for the Nation of Domination angle, but the deal fell through. - RVD & Sabu vs. Tommy Dreamer & Sandman was rumored to be booked for SummerSlam '97, but obviously never happened.

Updated CZW Only the Strong: Scarred for Life Card

TRANSLATION: People do bring up very valid points about your XPW bias, but here you've made a lot of valid points about CZW and I have no way of contradicting them. There's no need for hypocrites around here. Don't go telling me I get secondhand info on CZW and then tell me that all you know about me is "from what others told me." That's bullshit. And also, there's no point in holding stuff that happened three years ago against me. Then start wawtching them more closely and you'll see that the fans have absolutely loved The H8 Club for the past three years. It will give me a MUCH better idea of what's going on than your talking to current midcard guys who work there once a month, considering Rebel did all the business deals, interacted with Zandig on a daily - rather than monthly (like the guys you probably talk to) - basis, and had been with CZW for four - rather than six months or a year - years, like the guys you proabbly talk to. Why don't you go ask the aforementioned veterans I named who've been in the business for years and who've seen the politics firsthand and can thereby relate to Rebel's frustration. Go ask Chris Hamrick, Blue Meanie, Justin Credible, Steve Corino, and the other guys who've done something worth a shit in this business about Rebel and they'll all tell you he's a stand-up guy in a business full of arrogant assholes. You don't know what you're talking about when you call Rebel arrogant. I'm not bothering with the Acid/Kashmere arrogance statements because I'm not concerned with them and I've never talked to them. -

EWR Heavyweight Title Match: “The Fallen Angel” CHISTOPHER DANIELS vs. “Mr. Wrestling” KEVIN STEEN © (Elite Wresting Revolution “Revolution 1.0” – 4/10/04; Canada) posted on Saturday, February 5, 2005 PRE-MATCH: The camera opens with a “Fallen Angel” chant and the fans get their wish, as out pops Christopher Daniels for one of his very rare appearances in Canada, to the screams of Marilyn Manson’s “Disposable Teens.” EWR puts forth some AWESOME lighting effects that really give you the feel that you’re watching Daniel’s entrance in ROH (which is also known for the live production aspect, especially as far as lighting goes). The lights come back on and Daniels dramatically removes the priest’s hood… Actually, before I go any further, here’s a funny story – more than seven years ago, Daniels got the priest’s robe from a church in California, which he told he was “borrowing” it. I remember Daniels saying on an appearance for TheInteractiveInterview.com something to the effect of, “Technically, I didn’t steal it because I’m still borrowing it [chuckle]…” Gotta love Chris… Anyway, Daniels pulls off the hood as the lights go back to normal, and then enters the ring to an enormous ovation and starts playing up his star power. A “Daniels!” chant erupts and it’s clear that he’s going to be playing the face here. Out next is the up-and-coming “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen, a 19 year old technical wrestling sensation throughout Canada. The awesome lighting effects return as Drowning Pool’s “Tear Away” signals the entrance of Daniels’ opponent and the defending EWR Heavyweight Champion. While he’s the heel in this match, the fans respond decently to Steen, but as soon as the music is turned off, a strong “Daniels!” chant develops. Some fans try to fire up a “Steen!” chant, but it doesn’t gain nearly as much steam as the one for Daniels did. Some black-haired chick makes the introductions. Daniels embraces his big cheers, but Steen – on the other hand – could care less about the chorus of boos with which the fans respond to his intro. Funny, since it’s almost always the other way around when Christopher Daniels is involved in the match. Anyway, though, the “Daniels!” chant resurfaces, only to – in an awesome thing to hear – turn into dueling “Mr. Wrestling!” vs. “Fallen Angel” chant. It seems like – although the fans hate Steen – they find this match unusually appealing (just as I do). THE MATCH: The dueling chants continue to flood the venue as Daniels and Steen step up face-to-face. Some trash-talking goes on for a good 20 seconds and the chants even remain as they finally square off. When nobody gains control via the first four tieups, the dueling chants return. This is INTENSE. Finally, they actually start the wrestling part, with shoulderblocks by each guy failing to put his opponent down. More dueling chants, as Steen plays up his heel persona beautifully. Ohhhhh, and I thought it was intense before…now THIS is some TRASH-TALKING~!, baby…more dueling chants, as it appears Steen is gradually winning some people’s respect by refusing to back down from his veteran adversary. This is truly a sight to see…the fans are really split right down the middle here. The camera even pans out in different directions to show fans raving for their favorite. Tieup – some armwringers and wristlocks are exchanged before Daniels does a roll-through and trips Steen to the mat for a grounded headlock. Steen plays around a bit before countering to his own side headlock, which is met by boos. Daniels gradually fights to his feet (the fact that he’s not rushing up proves just how great he is) and creatively takes Steen back down to the mat judo-style. While working some basic ground submission, Daniels becomes noticeably perplexed by another weird chant – “Where’s your [inaudible – sounded like Humvees or something…]?” You’re not alone, Chris…Now a “Sorry!” chant goes out to Daniels and it looks like he’s accepting of it (thumbs up, etc.). We’re only five minutes in and this match is f*cking hilarious and scientifically solid at the same time. Steen bridges up to a standing position and counters to a hammerlock as the fans fight over “Let’s go, Steen!” and “Let’s go, Daniels!” chants. Eventually, Daniels reverses back to a headlock, but Steen escapes with a counter so innovative that I can’t even describe it. Using only his own strength (Daniels didn’t help one bit), he flipped himself up and over Daniels’ body and applied a front facelock on his adversary. Pure awesomeness. Daniels armringers out and hammerlocks Steen, only to receive another great counter, this one to a headlock. Applause rains throughout the building like Lita blowjobs backstage at an OMEGA Reunion Show. Oops… Anyway, Daniels forces Steen into the ropes and gets shoulderblocked down. A cool minute-long segment sees them do an Irish whip sequence that ends with Steen slapping the taste out of the “Fallen Angel”’s mouth. Then an irate Daniels starts chasing Steen around the ring and they end up back in the ring again, where they repeat the same sequence. However, this time, Daniels ducks the slap and responds with A SLAP OF EPIC F*CKING PROPORTIONS!!!! THIS IS FUCKING GREAT!!!!! “Holy Sh*t!” is right, fans! Steen regains his composure before charging into a pair of armdrags and a grounded abdominal armbar. Daniels works over the arm and taunts the initiating party of a small “F*ck you, Daniels!” chant by further wrenching in on an armbar (dueling chants all the while). Daniels ends a Steen comeback before it begins with a beautiful Northern Lights Suplex, rolled into another grounded armbar variation. Perhaps rallied by the “Fallen” Angel vs. “Mr. Wrestling” chants, Steen gradually climbs to his feet. Daniels refuses to let go of the armbar and finally Steen has to push him into the ropes to escape it. Steen leapfrogs over the ROH superstar, only to turn around into another armdrag and armbar. Shortly therafter, another Irish whip sequence is performed, with Daniels cartwheeling over a dropdown and delivering a hiptoss followed by a dropkick. Steen is at ringside and a “Dive!” chant makes itself heard. Daniels’ baseball slide is dodged, but his Arabian Press Suicida is not! Daniels proceeds to mingle with the fans for a little bit before going back to work, as the fans chant his nickname. He re-enters with a Flying Crossbody Block for a deuce, only to stumble into a Steen powerslam. Both guys sell the damage as the referee counts. Eventually, Steen is back up and nails a leaping heelkick for 2, which frustrates him into following up aggressively with a backdrop suplex, two running snap leg drops, and the coup-de-grâs – a running somersault leg drop – but obtains the same result. Following a strike exchange, Daniels drops out of a bodyslam attempt and schoolboys Steen for 2, only to find himself on the receive end of a Belly-to-Belly Overhead Suplex and a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker moments later. Steen applies the Sharpshooter and Daniels struggles like a hero before finally attaining the rope break. Steen starts resorting to a bunch of heel tactics and executes a nice variation of the Shotgun followed by a Springboard Dropkick for a deuce, as the contesting chants return. The fans tell Steen to “f*ck him up” and Steen gladly obliges with a nice Death Valley Driver for another 2 count. I can’t believe the emotion that I’m seeing and hearing from the fans. Steen goes into full heel mode by taunting Daniels and you can catch some pretty blatant whispering of directions by Steen (one of the few flaws in this match). Back to the action, as Steen tries a back body drop, but Daniels stops short and nails the STO. Both guys are down and the ref begins the 10 count, as heated chance for both men can be heard. Daniels unloads with punches, chops, a back body drop, a lariat, and an enziguri, but refuses to give the fans what they want to see (“Best Moonsault Ever” chant), instead opting for a Blue Thunder Bomb. After the 2 count, a “Moonsault!” chant develops. Steen drops out of a suplex attempt and ducks a lariat, which leads directly into a short – yet very sweet – reversal sequence into a DDT by Steen. The defending champ drapes an arm over Daniels for 2. A Sitdown Powerbomb follows for the same result and…get this…Steen tries the “Best Moonsault Ever,” but Daniels – not about to be humiliated by his own trademark– rolls out of the way and Steen crashes onto the mat. What the hell?!?! They clipped this beauty?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! Damn!!!! Anyway, though, we cut right to Daniels nailing his Uranage-style Chokeslam, and now it’s time for the BEST MOONSAULT EVER~![/u]. Daniels hits the mark, but Steen kicks out at 2. Daniels can’t believe it. Steen surprises Daniels with a backslide for 2 and then Daniels La Majistrals for the same result. Steen charges Daniels, but Daniels does a double-leg takedown and they exchange multiple pinning combos over an approximately 15 second period. Finally, Daniels takes the upperhand with some forearm strikes. He sits Steen up top as dueling chants fill the venue. They fight over a Superplex and Steen pushes Daniels down to the mat at one point, but the “Fallen Angel” runs right back up and the struggle continues. Finally, Steen (facing the ring) cradles Daniels’ legs and – as the fans chant “Match of the Year!” – executes a FLYING FISHERMANBUSTER~! off of the middle turnbuckle! Holy sh*t! (the fans echo the same sentiments) I’ve never seen that before… Over a really heated 35-second period of time, the two struggle to their feet and exchange blows, selling brilliantly all the while. Then, all of a sudden, Daniels starts unloading with thrust punches (Terry Funk-style) and – even better – headbutts, knocking his own head cuckoo in the process. Steen suddenly throws a superkick, but Daniels ducks down and the referee gets knocked out. Then, the two start fighting over a backslide, with neither getting it and Daniels eventually hitting the Angel’s Wings. He covers, but there’s no referee to count. The fans actually start counting and get up to almost 10 before Daniels abandons the cover and tries to revive the ref. After succeeding, he sets up for the Last Rites, but Steen escapes via a snapmare and proceeds to low blow Daniels, setting up for his finisher – The Package Piledriver – for the rather anti-climactic victory. WINNER and STILL EWR Heavyweight Champion: KEVIN STEEN, via pinfall (24:58, including the clipjob, so it was probably a little bit over 25:00) POST-MATCH: Steen is exhausted and can barely stand. The referee gives him his title and he celebrates with his music playing, before heading towards the backstage area. He stops at the top of the entrance stage and climbs up onto a ladder to hold up his title. The second clip of the match, as we fast forward to Daniels regaining his senses as the fans chant his name. His Marilyn Manson music hits again and the black-haired chick announces him on the mic to put him over. The camera pans around the venue to show many of the fans doing “bow-down” motions and chanting “Thank You!” to Daniels. He celebrates on the top turnbuckle and suddenly turns around and sees Kevin Steen at the same time that the camera pans out and shows him to the viewers at home. Holy sh*t. That was an awesome filming technique. Steen drops down to his knees and bows to Daniels like he’s a king before proceeding to stand up and hold out his hand. Daniels hesitates, looking around at the fans. Finally, Daniels gives in and they shake, hug, and finally, in a great moment, Daniels holds up Steen’s hand, effectively passing the torch. Daniels doesn’t want to be over-pampered and it looks like he’s praising Steen very strongly, but Steen wants none of it and actually holds open the ring ropes for Daniels to step through. However, just as it appears he’s about to, we get another clip-job and Daniels is standing at the top of the entranceway, while Steen is still in the ring. Daniels salutes the fans before heading backstage, and Steen follows him a few moments later. POST-MATCH RAMBLE: I’m being God honest here – that has to be one of the coolest “normal” entrances (i.e. excluding HBK’s entrance at WrestleMania XII) I’ve ever seen anyone make, especially an indy wrestler. The lighting effects, mixed with the perfect volume on the Manson song, the fans’ obvious adoration of Daniels, and the “Fallen Angel” himself’s brilliant reaction to their cheers. THE FANS’ REACTIONS: Unreal. I have yet to see the epic Chris Hero vs. Samoa Joe from IWA Mid-South where the fans were said to be going apesh*it the entire match (although I do have the tape and just started watching it a few days ago, so chances are I’ll see the match within the next week or so), but I have trouble believing that they were more hyped than the fans were for this showdown. ANALYSIS: I straight out loved this match. Just about everything worked great. The matwork to start was exceptionally fluid, but even better, it wasn’t rushed and was provided sufficient time to develop. The holds that they used during that part of the match were very basic – primarily armbars and variations of such – but their facial expressions added a believability aspect to their already compelling selljobs. This aspect – the believability – was one of the main strong points of this match. During the opening 10 minutes of matwork, both guys stayed consistent in targeting their opponents’ arm, rather than straying away to the legs and never reminding you what they had been working on previously. Unlike you often see with inexperienced indy guys, these two kept selling their pain more and more as the match progressed. Daniels’ lengthy advantage during the first third or so made it actually mean something when Steen took control. The comedy bits such as Daniels’ big slap were interspersed at intelligent intervals, so it never degenerated into a simple comedy match but instead retained a special feel all the while. Some of the spots lacked any transitioning (namely Steen’s Death Valley Driver and Daniels’ Blue Thunder Bomb), but those ended up as minimal faults in an otherwise tremendous performance. Otherwise, the offense – for the most part – stayed pretty basic, but what made the match so good is the sequence of those moves and the selling in between them, along with – of course – the amazing intensity. Daniels’ great pacing and aforementioned selling excellence helped put Steen over as a guy who the fans can hate, but at the same time a legitimate champion. I will admit that the fans’ reaction helped this match out a lot and made it into a great match, but it was already a damn good match, even without the crowd aspect. ***1/2. RECOMMENDATION: This is definitely a match to check out, if you’re a fan of independent wrestling. The intensity was absolutely off the hook here, resulting in type of a fan participation that added a whole different level to the match. It’s one thing to watch a great match; it’s another thing to watch a great match with the fans going apesh*t, which is what happened here. Highly recommended. -

This is kinda like what CM Funk does already. I'll try to post two or three of these a week. If you have a particular match you want me to review, then go ahead and request it, but I can't guarantee I have it. I was bored so I wrote this earlier today. Any feedback on my style, etc., feel free to post. Hope you enjoy it and learn something about whatever match I'm reviewing. PETEY WILLIAMS (w/ Scott D’Amore) vs. CHRIS SABIN vs. AJ STYLES – (TNA Impact!; aired 7/9/04) WRITTEN: Saturday, November 13, 2004 After slugging Petey down, Styles ties up with Sabin, leading to a headlock takeover/headscissors reversal before Petey attacks. A triple waistlock sequence ends with Petey scoring on Sabin with an inverted atomic drop, only to fall victim to a Styles dropkick. Sabin does a nice backflip counter to one of Styles’ tactics and immediately executes a huracanrana, before knocking Styles out to ringside with a lariat. A few moments later, Petey falls victim to a legsweep from the re-entering Styles, but gets revenge by countering a Superbomb attempt by Styles into a Super Huracanrana, sending Styles flipping onto Sabin with a somersault senton. Petey gets a 2 count on Styles before having his attempted shoulder spin countered into a wheelbarrow suplex by Sabin. Styles comes back by escaping Sabin’s sleeper hold and nailing a big Thrusting Uranage Headbreaker, followed by a Quebrada Inverted DDT (Petey)/regular DDT (Sabin) combo several moments later. Petey delivers a dropdown (to his knees) neckbreaker on Styles, but a reinvigorated Sabin hits a creative running swinging DDT variation on Styles, where he enziguris Petey on the way up. All three competitors slowly struggle to their feet and Sabin hits a Gory Special on Petey, only for Styles to break up the pinfall with a SPRINGBOARD 450° SPLASH! Then, following a brief slugfest with Sabin, Styles continues the aerial assault by taking out Frankie Kazarian and Michael Shane (who are at ringside) with a Running Leaping Somersault Attack over the ropes (thinking that they would try to cost him the match otherwise)! Back in the ring, Sabin looks to finish things off with the Cradle Shock (Fireman’s Carry Michinoku Driver II) on Petey, but he abandons it mid-move to take out D’Amore, who was preparing to interfere on Petey’s part. That, however, provided Petey enough time to recover, and the Team Canada member executes the CANADIAN DESTROYER~! (Sunset Flip Piledriver) for the 3 count! (5:48) POST-MATCH RAMBLE: That’s got to be one of the best-looking Canadian Destroyers I’ve seen him do in awhile. Petey got lots of air, Sabin did a full backflip, and the commentators sold it like gold. Sucks that we didn’t get to see Petey’s Sitout Inverted Powerbomb variation, but I have no problem living with the Destroyer. By the way, for those interested, this show featured Alex Shelley’s first match on Impact!, as he teamed with Abyss vs. Mikey Batts & Jerrelle Clarke. Now to my thoughts… ANALYSIS: Decent match, but way too short. Even considering that we’re talking about TNA Land – where guys such as these three usually are advised not to go all out so as to prevent the almighty Jarretts and Hardys of the world from being overshadowed – the X Division has seen action a great deal more innovative than this. While the execution was solid overall, nothing really stood out here, and the relatively minimal psychology didn’t help matters, either. I would’ve at least liked to have seen the three gradually build up to the Super Rana/Senton combo instead of just throwing it out there within the first two minutes. Furthermore, the wrestlers could’ve played up the triple-threat nature a bit better – sure there was Styles’ DDT combo, Sabin’s swinging DDT, and Styles breaking up a pinfall with the 450° (that I especially liked), there were virtually no two-on-one double-teams, so the three-man formula never really came into effect. As for the positives – Sabin’s wheelbarrow suplex, Styles’ headbreaker, Styles 450° and his dive onto Kazarian and Shane were both great additions because they really came out of nowhere (the camera hadn’t even shown Kazarian or Shane, so it was cool to all of a sudden see Styles topè out), and of course the finishing Canadian Destroyer was a sweet touch. Overall, though, definitely not worth going out of your way to see because all three have put out way better performances in TNA. *1/2. -

On my version (both the computer version and my VHS), the quality was great and the synching between the audio and hte picture was great, too. However, from what I've heard, I'd go with the recent Chris Candido shoot over the Sabu shoot. Candido's shoot is four and a half hours while Sabu's is 2, and Candido's is said to be absolutely amazing, as far as his honesty on issues. -

I know more about the inner workings of CZW than you do, that's for sure. I've done interviews with Rebel. Fuck, I've talked to John Zandig a number of times. Tell me you've done the same. You haven't. SoCalTF can bring up my XPW obsession all he wants, but the facts speak for themselves - I know what I'm talking about. ultfistgut - I interviewed Rebel a year before he was gone from CZW. -

Updated CZW Only the Strong: Scarred for Life Card
LucharesuFan619 replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
They've already put The H8 Club over small guys for four whole years - the Lost Boyz, The Briscoes, the Backseat Boyz, and more. CZW's horrible booking was exemplified by them turning Gage at COD6 and ending the Old H8 Club vs. new H8 Club storyline after 2 or something months. Nobody gives a shit what you think about The H8 Club. I'll go by the reaction of the hundreds of people who pop when "Voodoo" hits the loud speakers over some guy on the Internet claiming that Nick Gage and Nate Hatred aren't good for the CZW product. I have the tapes, too. Kaos signs could easily be seen in the crowd and the pops he got the first two shows were huge. That's a fact. Judging by your assessment that The H8 Club are useless, you DON'T have any CZW tapes, so your word means nothing. The 384626 ECW guys were no longer ECW guys. They all needed work. XPW gave them that. WCW was dead, too. There's nothing to bitch about when guys are trying to get wrestling gigs after their previous gigs fell through. They never had 12 CHIKARA guys on one show. They do have 6, 7, 8 IWS guys on a show. That is not a CZW show. That is an IWS/CZW show. CHIKARA and IWS are active promotions. I take back what I said about The Backseat Boyz being two of the most over guys in CZW history. Trent Acid was one of the most over guys in CZW history, but Kashmere wasn't. Acid was over like a motherfucker in 2003-2004. Did you see the ovation he got at Overdrive during the confrontation with Teddy Hart. Nobody gives more of a shit about Zandig than Acid. Acid is WAY more over than Zandig and always has been. Frank Iadevaia, when he began booking a 16 year old Trent Acid while he was still in high school, and giving him a chance when every other promoter out there was saying that you're too small. The CZW fans. CZW didn't even PAIR UP Acid & Kashmere initially. They were booking Kashmere and fucking ROBBY MIRENO as a team. That's asinine. When Acid and Kashmere were given the chance to team up, they went FAR AND BEYODN the call. They started as jobbers and their promos, Acid's workrate, their charisma, and their teamwork was high and away beyond everyone else on every show. They made themselves. Zandig didn't. They left CZW when Zandig started booking untrained students over them. They left CZW when Zandig started letting his personal depression problems affect his business. They left CZW when Zandig started saying "Fuck the TV show" and airing "Fake You TV"'s with horribly lazy editing jobs. They left CZW when Zandig started lying to his boys. They left CZW when Zandig started limiting where they could and could not work. They left CZW when Zandig started acting snobbish to them and everyone else on the CZW roster. Yeah, I guess you could say they left CZW when things didn't go their way. Your "point" is bullshit. Don't you dare blame Rockin Rebel for CZW's shitty product ever since coming to Viking Hall. That's fucking bullshit and you know it. The only people with booking power in that company are Zandig. The storylines are his decision; he fucked up the Viking Hall run with the help of nobody else. With pleasure - Derek Frazier, Nick Berk, Danny Rose, Adam Flash, Ric Blade, Greg Matthews, Z-Barr, and many others. If you're too ignorant to notice, that's all of Rebel's Army and some top midcard guys. According to virtually everyone in the business, Rebel is one of the most humble, least egotistical performers on the indy circuit. Your pairing him in with Acid and Kashmere's attitudes is done solely out of ignorance because you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. You haven't met Rebel. You don't know him. You don't know him like Chris Hamrick, Blue Meanie, Justin Credible, Steve Corino, and the many, MANY others who've put him over as one of the nicest guys in the business know him. Here's John Zandig, a guy who followed Paul Heyman around for years and demanded that he get a shot in ECW and then when he realized he wasn't a good worker, he made his own promotion. Your claim of being a CZW fan who knows about and keeps up with the product is hilarious because you obviously don't know a damn thing about it. -

H8 Club: So what? They've been the most over guys in the company for four years. Now they're being booked against IWS comedians and AMIL. Hero: pairing him with Zandig is a HORRIBLE idea. Kaos: the pop he got for his debut was huge, and there were TONS of Kaos fans and "Kaos" signs for his match vs. Messiah. Ya, like three or four guys from each of those feds. With IWS, they have seven or eight. That's way overkill. That's why they were two of the most over guys in CZW history. It wasn't that they didn't care about CZW. It was that CZW - specifically John Zandig - didn't care for them. If he gave a shit about him, he would've paid Johnny more than $50 for helping produce one of the most violent matches in wrestling history at Unf'nbelievable. And he will also be the guy who got Nate Hatred into CZW, the guy who allowed them to run at Viking Hall, and the guy who convinced countless guys to give Zandig another chance after he treated them like pieces of shit. Rebel is a great businessman and CZW lost a lot when they lost him. I'm willing to concede here. I still enjoyed CKNY more, but Blackout was good, too. And now he's being booked against an IWS debutee. B-Boy has sunk rather than risen in the past year. He used to be one of the most over guys on the roster. He's still an attraction, but not nearly as over as he used to be. Not by a long shot. Judging by the reaction I've received, a lot more people care about it than 7. Yeah, you do see why - Trent and Johnny brought the ladies and Rebel brought the contacts AND the money. Without Rebel, Zandig is a manic depressent with as much business savy as a coked up Paul Heyman. Forget I even wasted my breath. -

Gary Yap verbally rips the shit out of The Messiah

CREDIT: ProWrestlingWar.com forums I read Billy Boy's little whinefest a while back and wanted to sit on it a little before responding. Unfortunately, I can't say a lot right now for reasons that I - again, unfortunately - can't get into. In time, I will. When I do, it will be IN DETAIL. However, what I CAN say for now is THIS - Yes, I am one of the "hatters" he so eloquently refers to (if not the MAIN one). With all that has transpired between us, I think I have every reason to be a Messiah-hatter. This hatter was also the LAST person to make contact with him, despite him saying that he's "easy to contact." Of course, in typical Billy Bitchboy fashion, he didn't return the call because of feelings of incredible guilt over everything that he's done. For a guy who goes through tables for a living, he's a chickenshit little bitch at heart who will NEVER have the balls to confront my scrawny 150-lb. ass. Shit, I HOPE he confronts me. I'm easy to find. I always have been. EVERYONE knows where I'll be on January 14th and 15th. Show up, BITCH! I fucking DARE you! He states that he gets a big kick outta hearing about some of the stuff said about him/done to call him out. HA! If he gets SUCH a big kick outta it, why did he FLY OFF THE HANDLE at Jack Evans (at COD6) when, upon asking Jack what the boys in various locker rooms think about him moving in on his former boss's FAMILY, Jack reluctantly replied, "Well, they all think it's something you have a HISTORY of doing." Again, if he gets SUCH a big kick outta it, why would he ask my ex/mother to my daughter (which he now selfishly proclaims as HIS daughter), to please call my MOTHER and ask that I stop MAKING FUN OF HIM? For the record - TO NO AVAIL, mind you. There's NOBODY who can make me stop doing what I wanna do. But I haven't even STARTED on you, Billy. Hey - remember that time we all went to Disco Machine's house for his birthday and you made out with Disco's wife in the backyard while he was in the living room with the guys? HA! Man, you are TRULY a great friend! Good times. Y'know, Hailey/Renell once told me, "Go ahead and tell everyone about all of the married women that Billy has messed around with! All it will do is make him MORE popular!" The saddest part is that she's probably right. I'd like to believe differently, though. But hey, every morning you wake up and look at your nine fingers, you can always keep telling yourself that you're a good person. After all, like you said, it wasn't YOUR fault that you stuck your dick in Rob Black's wife. Repeatedly. It was HER fault, right? I know, I know -You NEVER do anything wrong. You're QUOTING THE BIBLE and, as we all know, ANYONE who quotes the Good Book can't be a bad guy! You ARE right about one thing, Billy. I AM a miserable sunnuvabitch! It's been OVER A YEAR since I've been ALLOWED to see my 3-year old daughter because you and my ex have WITHHELD her from me, as well as her own 10-year old SISTER! You've both RELIED on me being unable to hire an attorney to fight for my rights as HER FATHER! I am VERY glad that you believe in karma, Bitch, because it WILL come back to you - to the BOTH of you! If it's the last thing on this planet that I do, I PROMISE YOU it will come back to the both of you! I'll simply leave you all with this. Please let the following just sit with you... A man is ATTACKED in his home! He has his thumb cut OFF! He is beaten and left for dead! And NOBODY - Not his friends from high school that he grew up with nor his friends from wrestling whom he trained/worked with - - is there for him. NOBODY! Nobody except for ONE PERSON. One person who didn't even know him all that well. One person who convinced him not to run away from anything, including a profession that he was set to abandon. One person who rallied an entire area to his cause. One person who took him into his home, made him a part of his family, and loved him like a brother. One person who would have died for him. One person who was REPEATEDLY called an IDIOT for doing ANY of that in the first place, having not seen the writing already on the wall. NOBODY was there for that man who was attacked because they ALL thought - quite frankly - he DESERVED it. Only the beginning, Bitch. Only the fucking beginning. - Gary -
Updated CZW Only the Strong: Scarred for Life Card

CZW is turning into a fucking spot show. That's really been the impression I'm getting from the last few shows of their's I've seen. I'll admit to not being a fan of they're bringing in all the ROH and IWA-MS guys (Shelley, Strong, Lethal, etc.), but at least thos guys bought wrestling skills. Javi Air, James Newblood, Heretic, Spyral, Ghost Shadow, AMIL, and Ruckus are great spot workers, but nothing more. Chris Cash has and always will suck, H8 Club's overness is going down the drain thanks to horrible booking, the one good wrestler they have there every show (Chris Hero) is being wasted worse than anyone could've predicted, Kaos' overness (he was over crazy for his first two shows) has been killed due to shitty booking, and there's so many IWS guys it's turning into a fucking IWS show. The only good thing these days is Dragon & Excalibur and the Team Cash vs. Blackout feud. Nothing else appeals to me these days in CZW. Why must Zandig screw up so badly a roster as good as the one he has? He needs to bring back Trent, Johnny, and Rebel ASAP. Frankie the Mobster, Sexxxy Eddy, Kevin Steen, Excess69, Flying Hurricanes, Beef Wellington, El Generico...where's the CZW? I will admit to digging CKNY's heelwork. They were indeed 2004 TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR~! IMO, although by default more than anything due to CZW's lackluster tag team division. PS - and B-Boy's also being wasted. -

You can read? Cheers! Apparently so. Somehow I think Yap should keep this stuff private. It's none of our business..... it is however pretty funny in a sick kinda way. Dude, I posted the original post in the thread. Nothing in that post indicated that Messiah was arrested. It's called a "FOLLOWUP POST" to indicate that if you're interested, you should keep reading because there's more to the thread than just that original post. -

The Story of XTREME PRO WRESTLING
LucharesuFan619 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
It's BAAAAAAACK!!!!!! Part 3: The Story of Xtreme Pro Wrestling completed on Sunday, January 30, 2005 In mid-1998, shortly before he moved in with Tom Byron, the first inkling of an involvement in the pro wrestling industry by Rob Black revealed itself. He was visiting some relatives in his hometown of Rochester, NY at the same time that then-Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) Tag Team Champions and current-WWE RAW superstars The Dudley Boys (Buh Buh Ray & D-Von) and their right-hand man, the colossal Big Dick Dudley, were in town to plug an upcoming ECW show in the area. The three Dudley clan members had granted a rare autograph signing for ECW fans at Rochester’s “Ontario Video and News Store,” which was owned and operated by Black’s brother, Dominick (not to be confused with their father, whose name is spelled with a "c"). Dominick telephoned his brother and urged him to drive to the store because Buh Buh Ray (real name: Mark Lamonica) and Big Dick (real name: Alex Rizzo) wanted to meet him after viewing and enjoying several of his porn productions. Black found this news very appealing due to his fascination with pro wrestling ever since he was eight or nine years old. He ended up spending most of the day chatting with Rizzo and – even more so – Lamonca next to a waterhole near his brother’s store. The conversation resulted in Black being invited to attend two of ECW's future live events – one in Baton Rouge and the other in New Orleans. Black jumped at the opportunity, realizing that this could give him a chance to develop inter-promotional business between ECW and Extreme Associates if things turned out right. Being that this was before Black had met Janet Romano (a.k.a. Lizzy Borden), he was dating porn star Nikki Strassner, and actually, before going out with Nikki, Black had been engaged to yet another porn actress, by the name of Tricia Devereaux. Together, Nikki, Tom Byron, and Black took a flight to Louisiana to see ECW’s action firsthand, but even more importantly to talk business-related matters with ECW. Aware that the trio intended to meet with ECW officials later in the evening, the promotion’s management assigned security guards to watch over Black and his crew during the show. The trio was provided with front-row tickets for the Friday, May 29, 1998 Baton Rouge show, but even so, mobs of fans confronted them for autographs throughout the night. Byron was by far the most popular subject of such requests, although Nikki also found herself quite an attraction among the fans (who were primarily middle-aged males). One fan actually tried to stick his hand up Nikki’s buttocks during the event, resulting in his being expelled from the venue by the security team. Byron was quite a hit not only with fans, but with ECW officials. Several of them teased him from the ring, in between matches, about how he was the most popular man in the building that night. Their assessments were by no means a stretch, as ECW management – aware of the notoriety that their guests of the night possessed – incorporated Black and Byron's presence into the show itself. Both pornographers leaned over the guardrail and got into the faces of the Dudley Boys as the tag team champions made their entrance in preparation for the night’s main event. Black and Byron proceeded to heckle the duo with a barrage of insults that included “You suck," "Fuck you," and "You piece of shit!" Those antics, not surprisingly, were received very positively by the other fans in attendance, since the Dudleys were at the peak of their heel run around this period of time. Black and his gang’s fraternization with ECW’s wrestlers and employees continued after the show ended and even into the following day, only on a more casual (and non-scripted) basis. Besides the Dudleys, Black, Byron, and Nikki mingled with an ECW all-star contingent that included New Jack, Justin Credible, Tommy Dreamer, Danny Doring, Francine Fournier, Shane Douglas, and even promoter Paul Heyman. Half a decade later, Douglas (who Lamonica introduced to Black) would end up playing an instrumental role in XPW's rise to national prominence and also – as some would argue – its ultimate downfall. At this point, however, no such idea crossed Black, Douglas, or anyone else’s mind, as the only thing they were concerned with was the possibility of working together to develop interest in the respective ECW and Extreme Associate brands of entertainment. Even though Black and his friends were popular with several of ECW’s wrestlers and management, Black’s best friends in the pro wrestling business remained Lamonica and Rizzo. His camaraderie with the two performers actually survived the fallout between Extreme Associates and ECW management and continued through XPW’s run (of course, Rizzo’s unfortunate death in 2002 ended the relationship between himself and Black). The porn world, on the other hand, wasn’t as fond as Black was about the possibility of a pro wrestling league such as ECW becoming involved in their industry. Many publications and writers didn’t want to believe that the rumors of interaction between the two parties were anything more than a fictional “wrestling” storyline to get people talking, hoping that there were no intentions to actually pursue any business-related endeavors. The only problem with this mindset was that the interaction between ECW and Extreme Associates was no storyline at all. In fact, their plans for more intense interaction with one another were growing more and more serious by the day… COMING NEXT: Rob Black & The Dudleyz vs. Adult Video News -

He also announced something along the lines of expecting it to last all of about 2 weeks once they realize what they've gotten themselves into. That may be a little on the high side. New Jack appeared to be - how can I be delicate about this? - still ringing in the new year. So, who knows if its true. But he did explicitly make the claim. As I left at the start of his "match" (poking people with sticks is not my cup of tea), I cannot report on if he in fact murdered anyone tonight. Also, to pick up on another thread, Tracy Smothers made his triumphant return under the hood as "XIII" (who, apparently was a robotic conquistador of some kind), answering the open challenge of "Sweet and Sour" Larry Sweeney. Larry is the bastard child of Buddy Roberts, Adrian Adonis, and Larry Zybysco. And a damn riot as well. Good show overall.
