The OAO What's this move thread

The Hangman's Clutch (3/4 Chancery / Stepover Toehold combo) The Hangman's Clutch 2 (3/4 Chancery / Crossface combo) He also has two versions of the Hero's Welcome, believe it or not. One is a traditional Last Rites (the regular Hero's Welcome) and the second is a version where he jumps high into the air while doing the move, and he calls that "Death Is Welcome." There's an animation of the DIW somewhere on HerosWelcome.net, his new official site. Hope that helps.

    Shoot Interview feedback

If you review the newest Terry Funk, Shane Douglas, Justin Credible, or Corino shoots, I'll seriously send you a few bucks in the mail. No bullshit. I want to know what they say because I'm thinking of buying those shoots. Especially the Douglas one.

Latest "FROM THE INSIDE" column by J-Bor

Didn't see this posted yet... FROM THE INSIDE with JEREMY BORASH Greetings once again ... equipped only with my Powerbook and a cool mug of Rolling Rock ... welcome to inane insights from the center core of the inside. A journey that at times can get as ugly as an AJ Styles ladder bump or a Star Jones lapdance. Great show.... Once again ... great show this past Wednesday night. Solid all around, and you can't say enough about the last two matches. No update yet on the Sabin injury. Keep checking back to NWATNA.com. The Insane Clown Posse were nothing but complete professionals every moment of their time in TNA, including the night before their debut in which Violent J resisted destroying Jonny Fairplay, when in fact he may have been justified in doing so. Yes, the Fairplay character is a shoot... in case you haven't noticed. J, Shaggy, Rudy, Tony, Tom Dub and the rest of the Psychopathic Records crew were total pro's and a pleasure to work with. Not to mention the fact they are some of the funniest people I have ever met. The JCW videos are regular viewing at my pad. I'd love to see them back in TNA real soon. The filming of the new Sting movie is starting next week here in Nashville. I have been cast as ... and this is a stretch... a ring announcer. This will be my second movie in this same role... You see... I'm not really a ring announcer... I just play one in the movies. Abyss is without a doubt, the best working big man in the country today. You haven't seen anything yet. Goldylocks has put out a new CD featuring five excellent songs. She had a post show impromptu mini-concert at a club Wednesday night... and sounded great. Some mail trickling in about my comments about a certain wrestler's snake. I should probably rephrase that. Then, come to find out Frankie reportedly passed in a house fire several years ago. Don't even get me started on Matilda. Where is the USA Today article on this? Holy strangeness, gimmickbreath... surfing the internet this morning and I come across an ad on a website for an apartment wrestling league. What? Apartment wrestling? Don't any of these people own houses? And what is with picking different areas of one's supposed living space to wrestle? I could run simultaneous apartment wrestling and backyard wrestling shows on the same property and cater to two completely different crowds! And what about the people like New Jack that may want to wrestle on a roof? Where is the website for those people? Who gets to book these apartment wrestling shows? Where is the coverage? Am I the only one who wants to know who went over in the Carmen Jones / Candy Sommers rematch from suite 302 at the Acorn Ridge complex last week? If it wasn't for that futon getting in the way, some claim Sommers would have had it. Monte Brown impressed Wednesday night. Keep your eye on him. AJ Styles is the most exciting performer in North America today. Hands down. TNA had a strong showing with one of the most well attended parties at last weekend's CTAM television convention in LA. I joined Jonny Fairplay, Jeff Jarrett, and AJ Styles for the event, which also featured a speech from TNA's Dixie Carter. TNA continues to build very strong relationships with our business partners. Hit the Sunset Strip as well with some of Fairplay's Survivor cast members whom I didn't know since I haven't watched ... but as Fairplay points out... "that's ok, we were still #1 without you watching." He makes a good point. I will say this much walking around Hollywood with Fairplay... he's over in Tinseltown. We ran into everyone from Joe Rogan to Nicholas Cage. All big marks for Fairplay. Hats off to Jarrett and Chris Harris for the absolutely amazing World Title match Wednesday night. Jarrett always delivers in high profile title bouts, and Harris showed the world that he is indeed ready. Look for the start of the NWA World Tag Team Title Tourney starting this week, as well as the return of the Amazing Red. More matches will be announced this weekend. Have a good weekend and we will see you back on Wednesday night! Jeremy Borash Send feedback to [email protected]

    Download problems

I download a lot of wrestling music videos and full matches and stuff. I have about 588 MB a.k.a. 650,000,000 bytes of wrestling media on my computer. Most of them are WMV or quicktime files. Lately, when I try to download stuff, it stops before it's only at like 15%, so I only get like 15% of the file saved to my comp. and I can't view the rest. What's wrong? Obviously, the first thing that comes to mind is all the media I already have on the comp., but should that affect it like it does? Or is there any control panel settings I can alter that would help? When I download stuff, I usually stay on the computer and continue surfing the net. Would it help if I went away and didn't touch the thing, or would that probably not matter? The computer in question is a Gateway '98, if that helps. I think this is a kinda common question, as I've seen it asked before, but I don't remember where (this forum or somewhere else). Thanks so much, in advance.

The OAO What's this move thread

Ya, you are. The Sasuke Special was the corkscrew somersault version. A traditional SFTD is just a moonsault attack suicida.

    Faarooq released

According to Kevin Malton of (X)PWBTS (the name lives on): Take that for what it's worth. Does anyone know if this is right? He didn't credit anyone, so did he get this info on his own or did he get it from the Torch, WO, or 1popup newsletters or something? Especially with the Torch's recent warning to credit their news if you use it, you'd think the guy would have the courtesy to do so if he got it from there. I never thought of Faarooq as having a drug problem...but man, such a habit seems to be affecting WAY too many people as of late...I really hope this isn't true. Ron always seemed like one of the better guys in the business that you wouldn't expect this stuff from. Everyone knows of his alchol interests, judging by the APA gimmick, but drugs, too? Damn... EDIT: I see now this was posted in the other Faarooq thread...but hey, with all the different interprations of the Brockberg match at WM being posted each with a new thread, don't verbally beat me. Even in that thread, though, it didn't look like they named any real sources. Someone mentioned a PWPopup headline, but it's not confirmed if that's what that said, or if they gave another reason.

The OAO What's this move thread

Actually, I don't think there's a senton involved in the traditional version. I'm pretty sure it's a regular backflip with no twist. Technically, a SFTD is a Handspring Leaping Moonsault Attack Suicida over the ropes. Traditional versions are used by John Kronus (the Space Flying Kronus Drop) and Jinsei Shinzaki/Hakshu (Space Flying Tiger Drop) and modifications include M-Dogg 20/Matt Cross' awe-inspiring Space Flying M-Dogg Driver, a Cartwheel Leaping Corkscrew Somersault Attack Suicida (usually without even touching the ropes), and Ruckus' Bad Ass (Carthweel Leaping 360 Degree Moonsault, where he catches the guy with his back instead of with his chest while upside down).

    La Resistance

I've always been high on La Resistance. Their mic work is great, they're good wrestlers, and their finisher is simple, yet effective. They're great heels. I really wish either WGTT would switch over to Raw or La Res. over to SmackDown! so we could see a showdown between those two great tag teams.

    March 24 TNA Preview!

I don't know what you're talking about, dude... Nosawa is fucking BOSS. He's incredibly underrated. I first got exposed to him while he was in XPW and in XPW, he was able to get entertaining matches out of talentless guys like POGO THE CLOWN. The guy is an awesome wrestler. If you've seen B-Boy, picture him, only a little bit more foreign of a style. His finisher is the Nosawa Driver (Michinoku Driver II) and he loves Superkicks, the Camel Cutch, Uppercuts, Missile Dropkicks, Basement Dropkicks (especially), and Shining Wizards. He had some tremendous matches in XPW, MLW, and TNA, and his CZW submission match with Nick Berk was pretty cool too. I love the guy to death...sorry for the rant, but I don't know how you couldn't like him, LOL. He's SO cool.

    3PW 3/20/04

LMFAO. I've heard a lot of shit about Jasmin/Rhea acting like an absolute scubmag, and she has done a lot of scumbag things before, and I'm not about to act like her scumbag acts don't exist just because she's sick (for one thing, she tried to spread a false rumor about porn star Kendra Jade having AIDS so that Kendra would never get another porno job...then, when asked about it in an interview with Metal-Sludge.com, she never even denied it, merely saying that she doesn't remember doing such a thing...you don't remember spreading such a serious false rumor please...), but honestly she doesn't deserve this. Best of wishes for improved health go out to her, and I honestly hope she gets better.

    Hilarious no-selling at SummerSlam'98

The Eddie/Syxx ladder match deservedly went down as one of the worst in history. They completely messed up everything. I know there's some story about why going around, and I don't know the details, but I remember it being interesting.

    Jake Roberts launches web site...

http://www.jakethesnakeroberts.tv/ And get this... He's gonna launch a wrestling school! That's not a good sign...how's someone who's in legal trouble expecting to update their site on a daily basis?

    Maximum Pro Wrestling

They're quite good. Shane Douglas, D'Lo Brown, Chris Sabin, AJ Styles, and other guys I know have competed for them, and that's just off the top of my head. They have a very good roster.

2 Tuff Tony interview on 411

I agree. The 2 Tuff Driver and the corkscew~! plancha are two examples of awesome shit. I live most of the stuff I've seen from him. Hopefully he'll get a shot in CZW soon.
  20. http://members.aol.com/piratez4v3go2/nwawsmoves.htm NWA-Wildside.com is probably going to link to it in the next few days. Any corrections/additions post here, PM me, or e-mail me. Thanks. Also, any feedback on the format - i.e. if you think a different format could be clearer - is appreciated.

Life in general is already a death match. Don't give yourself any more wounds than necessary. Meh. Chicks dig scars. Example: Corporal Robinson is married. True. As are Supreme, Madman Pondo, and Uncle Ian.

    Something I found interesting

Wait, so was it a match Chris Sabin wrestled for IWA-PR, or was it a TNA match they had the rights to air? Or am I missing something?
  23. According to DeclarationOfIndependents.net, a Texas-based tag team who recently worked for CZW will be working a match at the Xplosion tapings tonight. The team is called Hallowmass and is comprised of Joey Corman & Samir. They have REALLY wacky costumes that - if you get Xplosion - I recommend checking out, at least for kicks, because it's really freaky. They're decent wrestlers...very spotty, and they do need to catch up on the basics, but they're alright spot-based performers. They've also worked a few matches for Pennsylvania-based Chikara Pro, which is Mike Quackenbush's fed.

How do I unsuscribe to a forum?

I accidentally pressed Subscribe to this Forum in the WWE forum, and although I visit the forum a lot...uhhh...I don't wanna be getting updates every time a new post happens there! LOL. So, how do I unsuscribe? I went to My Control Panel and expected to find something about Subscribing to stuff, but I can't find anything. Thanks in advance.
