ARTICLE: BSB's depar. apparently just 1 ex. of CZW
LucharesuFan619 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Yo...thanks for all the feedback, and the overwhelming positiveness of it. I realized I made some inaccuracies about Acid's career (he won the 2002 BOTB, was a runner up in 01, and was eliminated in second round in '03), but it seems not many realized em so hopefully they weren't majorly detrimental or anything. Mondo apparently returned, so hopefully Zandig's getting his communication act together and better relating to his talent. The article like I said SHOULD be up on OWW by like tomorrow, but I'm not really sure. Part 1 of The History of XPW should be up in a few weeks, too. That's one thing that anyone whos an indy fan doesn't wanna fuckin miss...rare info/pics that'll make M-Dogg/ROH seem miniscule. -
I'm gonna get a ton of heat when it likely turns out that Messiah's still with the company, so PLEASE everyone understand, that's just what one person was saying in the chat. Everything was so confusing, for all we know someone could've been bullshitting everything. I seriously don't think Messiah left, and I think rather it was instead a storyline, that he left or something...I don't see any reason why he would leave CZW, because he's so tight with everyone in their locker room in real life. But like I said, don't blame me if it turns out he's still with the co. His leaving is just what one dude said. EDIT: Yeah, JustJoe is right. Scotty won the four-way. I remember now. I don't know why I listed Bounty Hunter as winning. Yeah, like JustJoe said, Scotty won the four-way. Sorry about that.

Bounty Hunter (a new guy) won four way over Dahmer, DJ Hyde, and I forget B-Boy turns face and aligns with Zandig; Hi-V breaks up, apparently; full segment goes like Zandig ordering Hi-V out to the ring, and Dewey Donovan, B-Boy, Adam Flash, and some lawyer dude come out. Zandig says that hes had enough of Hi-V's shit and is gonna give them a chance to come over to his side of the ring and leave Hi-V. B-Boy and the lawyer apparently take his offer and side with Zandig, but Flash stays loyal to Hi-V. Zandig says, "FUCK FLASH!" and we're not sure what happened after that, but apparently B-Boy is now a face. The following matches may not be in the right order, but the results are right: DRS won three way tag team match over Corey Kastle & Niles Young and All Money Is Legal; Kash of AMIL apparently was injured Rebel's Army go to a No Decision with Nick Berk & Z-Barr; Rebel's Army retain their tag titles Jimmy Rave retains the Iron Man title over Jimmy Jacobs (w/ Becky "I want to Have sex with her and stick my $^*@! into her @$^%&* really hard" Bayless) and the debuting Joey Ryan Sonjay is defending his title vs. Grim Reefer right now Also, the following awards were given out for 2003: Wrestler of the Year: Messiah (Whose apparently not at the show tonight) Tag Team: Backseat Boyz (they didn't come out to get the award, apparently) Breakout/Newcomer of the year: Jimmy Rave Finisher of the Year: Joker Driver~! Feud of the Year: Hi-V vs. Zandig Face of the Year: Zandig Lobo was the first and so far only inductee to the CZW hall of fame. Attendance is no more than 300, estimated to be more like 250. Fans at the show apparently said some of their friends didn't come out of anger about the Backseat Boyz having left the company, so out of protest I guess there's not many fans there... Messiah apparently isn't at the show and Zandig apparently even said that hes out of CZW. We're not sure if that's true or not, but that's what one person is saying they were told by someone at the show. I've left the chat cuz I'm bored...so if anyone else wants to take over....that's fine, but I'm not gonna be posting any more results because I don't know them.

They're backstage at the show as we speak. No word on if they'll be used for CZW. They weren't on the World-1 show.

The talks were to get Inoki publicity more than anything. I should've specified, also...talks were between Inoki's reps for his shoot fighting organization, not NJPW. There was a shoot fighting match on one of XPW's early house shows that very few know about. More info about it in my retrospective in the coming months. But ya, I agree, nobody in XPW would've fit NJPWs style.
-
Uhhh. They were huge in So-Cal. A rep of Antonio f'ing Inoki called them to set up a talent agreement (I'm not bullsh*tting) , and that was back in friggin '99. By 2000, they were working with none other than Onita's FMW and consistently drawing 800 non-comped. They were HUGE in So-Cal and forever changed that region's indy circuit. I do agree that RF would be smart to capitalize on it.

Look, I'm not gonna start a flame war. If you want to, go ahead, b/c you've done it before.

I've never had a prob. getting ahold of him in the several times I've spoken to him. I think Rob Naylor has also talked to him before and had little if any trouble, but I may be wrong. All I do is call the CZW offices. He's usually the guy to pick up the phone, unless he's at the CZW school training wrestlers, at which time his secretary, who I think is Debbie his wife, (and sometimes his adorable [at least over the phone] 3-or-so year old daughter, if the sec. isn't there) picks up. I'm also calling Rob Black's office in about an hour. I just may be the only person in the history of the world to speak to both of those two people on the same exact day (exception - Messiah...possibly?). LOL You have a proven vendetta against me more than most people, so do you really think anyone will take what you say seriously?

I'm calling Zandig in a few hours to give him the opportunity to comment on the situation for an article I'm writing about the matter that should be up shortly before the show tomorrow. The reason I especially want him to have a chance to respond is because it doesn't really paint him in all that great a light, although I guarantee everyone it's not an "unfair" article or anything like that. When I rip someone, I'm quite professional about it, unlike so many other guys (no one on this board, I'm inferring rather to other sites' "reporters). I'll let everyone know what happens.

The Man they call Hydro...
LucharesuFan619 replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in General Wrestling
I'm not sure what Albert's move is, so I can't really say. If you've seen Tajiri's Octopus submission that he used in ECW - picture Lethal holding his foe in that position, and just falling to one side, drilling the guy's head into the mat. There's a great photo of the move in one of ROHWrestling.com event galleries. -

A WTF? -
I can't help it - your post strikes me as really hypocritical. Back during the Philly wars, you were one of the most outspoken on this board against XPW's "invasion." Those posts can still be found by going to the Search section and looking through this board's archives. You said that XPW had no right to begin a "war" and try to put CZW out of business, and suddenly now you're saying ROH does. Please clarify, because either I've misinterpreted you which is probably the case or something's going on here. I'm not trying to make this into a flame war, and it better not degenerate into one. If it does, it's NOT my fault because I'm stating this as politely as I possibly can.

The Man they call Hydro...

I think I'm gonna pick it up soon too, along with the most recent Shane Douglas shoot and the Best of the Briscoes (Jay & Mark, not the Jack & Gerry). -

His finishers: - Diving Headbutt Drop - The Lethal Driver/The Hydroplane (Depending on who he's working as) (raps foe around his back so that they're back-to-back and then falls to one side, drilling the victim's head into the mat; it kind of ends like a crucifix pin, only that it's done quite stiffly, rather than relatively gently like a pin) - The Lethal Injection II (modified Surfboard Stretch) - That's All She Wrote The piledriver you guys describe...I'd describe it as a Piledriver out of an Arm Trap/Cutthroat/Pumphandle combo. -
Two of the most asked questions of any particular indy fed is what theme does this so-and-so use and who's a member of so-and-so stable/duo? Well, CZDub.com has answered those questions for CZW fans. My self-constructed list of CZW Wrestler Themes and Stables/Tag Team History has been posted on the site. In coming days, updates on the CZW Moves section will be made. Yes, even what is Justice Pain's theme is answered, LOL. You wanna know Hi-V's song, or Ruckus', or Messiah's? It's all there. And for the stables section - did you ever have any idea a duo called The Gentleman's Club worked in CZW? Well, they did. What about Extreme Fahrenheit? Are you losing track of all of HI-V's members? Divine Order of Dahmer? Look no further. There's also music videos and stuff on the site, so check it out, Moves list: http://www.czdub.com/movelist.htm Themes list: http://www.czdub.com/czwthemes.htm Stables/teams list: http://www.czdub.com/czwstableshistory.htm NONE of those lists may be fully or in part copied or stolen and used on other sites without my permission. It took two years to construct the move list, and the other two lists weren't easy, either. Enjoy http://www.czdub.com/

RF shoots w/ Kristi Myst, Corino, &...RF

OK, awesome. It's much appreciated. -
RF shoots w/ Kristi Myst, Corino, &...RF
LucharesuFan619 replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Ya, from the description of the shoot, that's pretty much how it sound. LOL. She actually does the entire shoot BUTT ass nude, and apparently rubs her nipples a lot of the time, too. That's what it says in the description, at least... bort, it didn't even occur to me...the sound system on my comp. is broke, so the audio idea wouldn't even work. If you'd be willing to listen to it yourself and tell me what he says, I'd be willing to send you a tape or something...but the audio thing won't work out, since I can't hear anything from the comp. -

Is the 2nd shoot the one where he talks about XPW, or is that another shoot? -
Why wouldn't he have been? I'm pretty sure he was... Hopefully ICP will do well when they wrestle. When matched with the right opponents, they can be really good. Shaggy's XPW match with Vampiro vs. MMW was surprisingly *Excellent*, and their WCW work wasn't horrible, either. Young is a very good worker, but Gilberti...meh. Hopefully, it'll work out, though, as ICP is prolly getting TNA some good publicity.
