Lucha Xtreme Wrestling's 2nd show date announced!

Webb's a hero of mine? Trust me-I don't need to rely on what he knows about Slash, considering I know half the workers on the LXW roster myself. Oh, and considering the # of times Webb has met Slash is well into the low single digits, I wouldn't really care, due to his credibility.

    ROH Fans

Why? If he produces in the ring, and people pay to see him (I think he might be one of the few indy guys around who can actually see tickets based on who he is), isn't that all that matters? Should every Dick professional athlete be kicked out of their sport? Who cares what the locker room thinks. Just go out there and entertain the crowd and make them pay to see more of you. Ya, but who's he gonna work with if no one likes him? You have to be a team member in any sport, including pro wrestling. You can have all the talent in the world like Buff Bagwell (And YES, he was VERY talented, admit it), but if you act like a moron, you deserve not to be pushed. That's the thing about wrestling...in a lot of other sports, you can get away with it being a one man show, but in wrestling, you have to go out and put on a staged event with someone else. Since other sports aren't staged, what happens happens and so it's accepted that some guys don't like each other, but when you already know whats going to happen and you still can't get along, then there's something wrong in the whole equation.

CZW "Night of Infamy 2" Thread

I actually wouldn't be surprised if that happens, and it would be a cool match to see...but who would Ruckus face for the junior title at COD5? Sonjay again? Why not D. Frazier? Or bring in a foreigner, like AB Luke, Sal Rinauro, Icarus, or even a TNA guy. Frazier had a shot a couple of show ago. If Deranged/Azrael end their fued at NOI, I could see Deranged getting a shot. Yeah, I know, but he's still the perfect guy for it. Ruckus is working Rebel at the show and Frazier is aligned w/ Rebel, so why not continue the Rebel/Ruckus feud and have Rebel send Frazier in against Ruckus again at COD. Nothing wrong with a guy getting two title shots in a few months.

    The Habana Brothers

Realized I made a mistake in my last post...one of them - either Quance or Boy - actually works as Puma Kid in Mexico, not by their So-Cal name (Quance or Boy, depending on who it is). I'm not sure which it is though. One of the four did a Phoenix 720 DDT like Jody Fleisch a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure the one who does the SSP is actually Quance but I may be wrong. I know he uses that as his finisher in other feds though.

    The Habana Brothers

You mean the Havana Brothers, not Habana. Theyre the Havana Pitbulls from So-Cal, made up of Bobby Quance, Rocky Romero, Ricky Reyes, and Pinoy Boy. And if you're just seeing them for the first time now, uve missed out on them for awhile. Quance worked for XPW a few times and XPW brought three of them in for some non-taped dark matches at their HQ b/c they were looking to bring them in at as a permanent team, but never got around to it. They were gonna work MLW, but it was cancelled.

    Just announced...

Why the hell do you care for Barber? Are you going to read reports, watch some clips, then write a 13 page essay about it? I thought quit watching wrestling months ago. Dont come bitching to anyone here suddenly. Not many here go to 1W b/c of the popups, so thats why I posted it here. Sorry about the JA subtitle, guess it was innaccurate.

    Matt Morgan/SmackDown! request

I'm writing an article about his WWE debut and REALLY need a transcript of Heyman's intro of him during the in-ring promo on tonight's episode. My TV fucked up during the segment so I couldn't tape it, but I REALLY need the word-for-word promo. I'm pretty sure Heyman also introduces Nathan Jones; I don't need that. All I need is Heyman's intro of Jones. From what I could hear through the fuzzy black-and-white shaking screen that was my TV during that segment (I figured out what was wrong right after), he read off his weight and height and said he'll be a dominant force or something like that, but Im not really sure. So, if anyone who lives on the West coast and is gonna watch SD later tonight or if anyone taped it can transcribe me the part of Heyman's promo where he introduces him, I'd REALLY, REALLY, REALLY appreciate it. Thank you. If anyones willing to help, just post the transcript in this thread or PM it to me. Thank you VERY much. (I know this isn't WWE news, but its WWE related. If a mod wants to move it to the General Wrestling forum, that's OK.).

Elix Skipper in WWE dark match

Elix Skipper lost to Horshu of UPW in a WWE dark match on 10/28 in Atlanta, GA before the taping of SmackDown! (which will air tomorrow). According to RajahWWF.com's report of the show, during the bout, Elix blew his signature ropewalk huracanrana and eventually was pinned following a modified powerslam.

Right. He WAS an indy guy. Amazing Red was injured in Japan and will be out of action for several months. Low Ki is also in Japan. He recently left ROH.

CZW fans, I have a few questions...

    Agreed.
  25. LucharesuFan619

CZW fans, I have a few questions...

Umm, you may not realize this, but you just proved his point for him... He didn't say that calling a sitout move a head drop was redundant. He said calling labelling it a sitout head drop and a Michinoky Driver II was redundant. And according to you, a Michinoky Driver II is defined as a Sitout Bodyslam/Piledriver and a piledriver is typically a head drop move. I agree, partly - calling it a MD2 and a sitout move was reduntant. Youre right there. However, it could be interpreted either way as to what he meant by "Isn't it kinda redundant to describe a MDII as "Sitout Head Drop"?" Could just interpret the redundancy as calling any sitout move a head drop, too? I see what you mean though and do agree that I was redundant in calling it both a MD2 and a sitout move. Ummm...WWE rarely uses the move anymore. I've seen John Cena do it a few times and that's about it. The indy version in the US is not always a head drop. Ive seen it plenty of times where they guy just lands on his back. Juvi's version isn't much of a head drop anymore (his TNA stuff has been, but watch him in MX and it's not really).
