    Questions About CZW's Past

More liked than me? HAHAHAHA!!! PLEASE... And you started the XPW talk in this thread. I apologize on your part for your own ignorance. Please accept my apologies. And stop blindly bashing XPW while you're at it. Hypocrite. WINNER: Me. LOSERS: Sandman9000 and Nevermortal.

    Wrestling's Most Controversial Moments

    - Montreal - HLA - ECW-XPW HeatWave incident - Hogan-Russo shoot - Pillman's ECW shoot - Vader attacks the talk show host dude - Mass Transit incident "Black Sunday in 1984 " Enlighten me, please. To what are you referring?

    New Jack

His promo right after NYR1 upon entering XPW (it was aired on XPW TV) was one of the best promos I've ever seen him making. Classic stuff.

    Questions About CZW's Past

Ignorance, eh? XPW is dead. They haven't ran a show in months. Rob Black is being investigated by the government. They've lost their home base on the East Coast. Douglas is in TNA now. How much more evidence do you need? XPW IS DEAD. I'll say it again... "We have a situation here where somebody is running their mouth about a topic that they have no knowledge about." - Vince McMahon, to Bob Costas. XPW is far from dead. You're talking out of your ass. I'll say what everyone has been saying for months now. No one takes you seriously. Kill yourself. It's funny how - you a guy who talks out of his ass so often - think that you're actually respected on this board. It's really hilarious, man. Unfortunately, you're too naive to understand the whole joke.

    Questions About CZW's Past

" I was under the impression that you have to actually EXIST to have a rival. As we all know, XPW does not exist." Ignorance. TNA and XPW both put out similar products and use the same wrestlers (Siaki, Malice, Raven, Lynn, Dinero, Credible, Douglas, etc.). They're not direct rivals, I'll take that back. They are sort of rivals, though. You're right in that they don't go head to head or anything, but they use the same wrestlers and have had problems with each other in terms of double bookings (as Sonny Siaki pointed out on his message board several months ago). The point is that New Jack is anything but reliable. To take his word for granted is laughable.

    Questions About CZW's Past

^MOST IGNORANT POST EVER^ BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! LAUGHIN MY FUCKIN ASS OFF! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You're going to believe NEW JACK? Oh my God...HAHAHA! New Jack has lied so many times and has shot on every promoter he's ever worked for. The only reason he said that about Black is because he now works for TNA, a direct rival of XPW. You must be joking, man. LMAO. Because we all know New Jack's word is the gospel, right?

    New Jack vs. Gary Yap

One day - Yap paid New Jack to shoot on XPW for bouncing a check that they never even bounced. A few days later - Yap bounced his check to New Jack for shooting on XPW for bouncing a check that they never even bounced. Irony expemplified.

    Questions About CZW's Past

Actually, anybody can argue with me and if they're reasonable and logical, they're going to win the argument. It's those who are too immature to actually argue their points and instead resort to saying crap like that which you just uttered that come off as ignorant. I've stated facts in this thread, have I not? It's not my fault so many must resort to bullsh*t comebacks. "CZW didn't steal any wrestlers from JAPW- Berk, Blade and the Backseats were working for JAPW and CZW simultaneously for quite some time. When Berk got a concussion in a JAPW match, right before he was booked for CZW, Zandig gave the remaining "floating wrestlers" (unsure whether Blade was still with CZW at the time) a choice, him or them, and they chose CZW." False. Berk and Acid were both made in JAPW. I apologize for doing my research, but Fat Frank Iaveia was the only man on Earth willing to give a 16 year old Trent Acid a chance to wrestle in front of a crowd. He wouldn't be where he is without JAPW. Nor would Berk. CZW began the war. You seem to not have done your research. Blade left CZW because Zandig refused to pay for his medical costs that came from the result of an incident at a CZW show called Take One. He didn't leave the company because he was disgruntled. LucharesuFan619 - 1 point Others - -1 points (note the "-" sign) Oh, and I never said Messiah deserved whwat he got. In fact, had you read my full explanation, you would notice a sentence that addresses that very issue. He didn't deserve to get his thumb cut off; He did - maybe not in the moral world, but in the real world - deserve some type of revenge. That damn sure doesn't mean getting his thumb getting cut off. A lawsuit for character defamation would be more suitable. Of course he didn't deserve what he got. But what he did - under your very own reasoning - he asked for by saying what he did about Black. Under my reasoning (being that Black wasn't involved), it was a coincidence that it happened to Messiah, one of billions and billions of people in this world who happen to have dislike for their boss.

    Questions About CZW's Past

"So if someone insults someone else for a year, they are allowed to cut their thumb off?" Somebody's comprehensions skills absolutely suck because never did I say that. "So XPW only called the Viking Hall the XPW arena because CZW did?" No, they called it that because CZW, JAPW, MECW, and all of the other promotions that have ran in Viking Hall called it that. "If someone says something in Heel Character mode, is it true?" Of course not. Is it true that Viking Hall should be called the CZW Arena? Of course not, but that's what Z-Barr said. By your logic, anything anybody says - including Rob Black's shoot comments on ECW - are all false because he said them as a heel. Get real. CZW disrespected the arena. "XPW employees are going to be completely unbiased when talking about being ejected from Viking Hall, they would never lie" No, they wouldn't, considering many weren't with the company anymore, so they have no obligation to lie. I also got the info from some ex-employees who left with heat with the company, and even THEY told me that there were never any such plans. Never was such a thing reported by anybody, either. You're making stuff up. "If you get trained after backyarding, does it not count?" Ruckus was never trained, even after his backyard days. The training Cash, GQ, and the others you named were minimal. Very minimal. Most of their experience come from backyard matches, as so many people on this board have already pointed out. I repeat: "We have a situation hear where you are running your mouth about a subject that you have absolutely no knowledge of." - Vince McMahon, to Bob Costas

    Questions About CZW's Past

"We have a situation hear where you are running your mouth about a subject that you have absolutely no knowledge of." - Vince McMahon, on Bob Costas That exemplifies what so many of you are doing here. Firstly, some factual corrections because not even the CZW fans who posted in this thread have a lot of knowledge about CZW. - Ric Blade left CZW because Zandig refused to pay for his medical coverage upon him getting injured at a CZW show. "A couple of factual errors in the first paragraph. First of all, at the time, JAPW WAS a direct rival to CZW, a very heated rival- CZW was in Jersey around the time. And Blade, in his quit post, certainly DID put JAPW over and bury CZW." That quote is false. He never shitted on CZW while in JAPW. And CZW began the heat with JAPW by stealing so many of the wrestlers they had grown from teenage wrestling fans into indy wrestlers, i.e. Trent Acid, Nick Berk, Reckless Youth, and so many others. - His thumb injury came a year off after he jumped to CZW. Throughout that first year, he repeatedly slandered Rob Black, defamated his character, spread false rumors, accused Black of criminal actions, and other things. What Messiah did was walk into Harlem and start calling all the black people there the "n" word. - "And Extreme Associates wanted to SHOOT AND STORE PORN IN VIKING HALL. That's defecating on the building, quite literally." Now, you are resorting to straight out lying. That is 100% false and I know that for a fact, seeing as how I've spoken to several current and former EA employees on several occasions. Some more factual corrections: Cash and GQ were backyard wrestlers before being trained by CZW alumni. Same goes with Ruckus. And Sonjay. And M-Dogg. And J-Pro. And Zandig was not trained by Johnny Rodz. He was trained by a "Iron" Mike Sharpe (who worked some WWF shows years ago) who trained him out of his garage. And people say I don't know whawt I'm talking about. Funny how I seem to be whipping the asses of ShooterJay, Sandman9000, anbd so many others in this thread who know nothing about CZW. Oh, and another thing - to the guy who said that the thing where Z-Barr bashed ECW at COD3 was an angle...DUH. Who cares, though? He defacated on the ECW Arena by saying that it's the CZW Arena before CZW even ran a show there. What followed was - thanks to his and other CZW wrestler and management's disrespect - the whole indy circuit following their lead and naming the arena after themselves before they evne ran a show there.

    Questions About CZW's Past

"It wasn't that he quit the company, it was how he blamed the fans and put over a rival company in doing so. It's similar to the ways in which M-Dogg, Josh Pro, and Justice left the company." Actually, no, it was a lot different. Blade didn't even go to a rival company, man. He wrestled for small indies during his abscence from CZW? Do you consider JAPW a direct rival for CZW? Get real. Blade didn't even work for a rival company, let alone put one over. Why shouldn't Pain leave CZW? The locker room was constantly pissing on him. And why the hell shouldn't Rob Black take him, along with the other two guys? Try not being so blind when it comes to putting over CZW. Yeah, it's OK for Zandig to pay himself, his announcers, and The Messiah to verbally slander and threaten Rob Black, but it's not OK for Rob Black to retaliate by hiring three of their mid to upper midcard guys. Get real... And why shouldn't Rob Black come to XPW? Yeah, it's fine for CZW to come to the ECW Arena and pay Z-Barr, Zandig, and other wrestlers of theirs to verbally piss all over the legacy of the ECW Arena, like they did so many times at COD3, among other shows, by bashing the former talent of the building and calling it the CZW Arena, but it's not OK for XPW to book a date in August that NO OTHER PROMOTION had booked.

  16. On Sunday, May 18, 2003, I had the oppurtunity to speak with former ECW star and current U.S. independent standout performer "Confederate Currency" Chris Hamrick. The accomplished young athlete spoke candidly on a variety of issues, including his childhood memories of being a pro wrestling fan, how he broke into the business as a wrestler, his early work on the indy circuit, the couple of appearances on WWF (now WWE) television that he has made, his memorable tenure in ECW, and his current association with XPW (along with giving his thoughts about the current state of that promotion). Hamrick was also willing to confront for the first time in any interview that he's ever done some of the more controversial issues that he has encountered during his career, including the heat he once had with former-ECW colleague EZ Money (a.k.a. Jason Jett during his brief time in WCW), his rumored marriage to former-porno actress and indy wrestling valet Kristi Myst, why he never returned to CZW again after his one-night appearance in the promotion, the real-life assault on indy wrestler The Messiah, and other topics which - until now - remain yet to be discussed by him. To read the interview, in full, head over to http://www.HouseOfXtreme.com/ and check out the main newsboard. If you don't see it, then you're probably blind. Feedback can be posted in this thread, if you'd like. Enjoy.

    Favorite indy wrestlers

I'm a big fan of both guys, but I'd have to say The Messiah is the better wrestler. Watch his matches with Chris Daniels and Super Dragon from PCW in SoCal, They contain better mat-work than Kaos has ever done in his career (Granted Messiah was working with 2 of the best in the world IMO) I just think Kaos has to be carried alot more in his matches than Messiah. As for selling watch the Kaos Vs. Webb Death Match.. Kaos comically over sells everything. But that's just my opinion. Take a look at any single match Messiah wrestled in. At least once every two minutes, he starts stalling by doing these horrible-looking Terry Funk-esque, yet really weak-looking, punches (if u even wanna call them that) that look so bad that the other guy can't even sell them realistically well. He does that VERY often, EVEN in CZW, where many fans said he improved drastically while working in. Fact is...he's still the same in terms of selling as he was in his first few days in XPW. He very often does some very well executed moves, I'll give you that, he even has the best-looking standard suplex in the business, in my opinion, but other than that, there's not much to him. Whenever he is stumped on what to do in the ring, he starts doing those horrible-looking punches to stall until he thinks of what to do next. As far as aerial abilityl, comparing his to Kaos' is ridiculous. Kaos is a very, very awesome aerial wrestler. Messiah very rarely even does an aerial moves. Both guys don't do many submissions, so that's not really important. Deathmatch-wise, both can go and it'd be somewhat illogical to give the edge to either guy. Kaos' death match with Supreme was amazing and so was Messiah's matches with Supreme. Kaos' match with Webb was pretty good. The selling was decent, nothing horrible, but nothing great, IMO. It seemed like Webb was the one selling badly in that match. Watch Kaos' matches with Phenominal Phil, Psychosis, Juvi, Hamrick, etc. and they're all very solid technically with some stalling, but not NEARLY as much as almost any Messiah match features. You're right - it's not much of an accomplishment to have a great match with a tremendous wrestler. It takes talent, but doesn't mean that the guy other than the really good wrestler is anything amazingly special. I haven't seen it, but I've heard that Kaos' matches since he came out of XPW were really awesome i.e. his match vs. Jimmy Rave, his tag team matches with G.Q., etc. He's had great matches in XPW with accomplished guys like Mike Modest, Hamrick, Doring, Psychosis, Nosawa, etc. I'd give the edge to Kaos, but that's just my opinion.

    Favorite indy wrestlers

You seem to be a big Messiah fan. Well, I got news for ya: Kaos is a better in-ring worker than Messiah. He can aerially wrestle better. He can mat wrestler better. He can sell WAY better. He's a better athlete. On the other hand, Messiah is a better submission wrestler and slightly more hardcore, but in the long run, Kaos definitely comes out on top, in my opinion. And you may not like him, but to say Kaos sucks a fatty is just ignorant. He's one of the best performers on the entire indy circuit who don't work ROH. And GQ is a great mic worker.

M-Dogg 20 to Ring of Honor?

I talked to M-Dogg 20 yesterday and asked him about the rumors he was in talks with ROH. Well, he revealed some interesting stuff... He said he was in contact w/ ROH through a middle man to appear at Round Robin Challenge 2 a few weeks ago. He made it clear that the talks weren't centered on a permanent position in the company, but just a one-time apearance. He said that it wasn't like they had centered the entire booking of the show around his appearance or anything like that, though. He said that the talks ended when the middle man told him that they didn't want to risk any backlash from anti-XPW promotions if they used him. He also made it very clear, once again, that the talks weren't abouta long-erm spot and that he was probably one of hundreds that the had talked to about spot. M-Dogg also told me that he's looking forward to when XPW returns and that the last time he talked to them, they told him that they weren't done yet. He also trashed the Internet feuds between promotions that the fans make out to be heated"rivals," but they're really not. I've divulged some more info that I've learned, but didn't post about, on this matter to former-CZW referee and Internet writer Derek Sobato (who I also must plug in saying is a very cool guy), so look for that to be posted in his next column on ProWrestlingRadio.com. I also just talked to Gabe Sapolsky, who told me that there were never any talks nor any interest *whatsoever* in M-Dogg and criticized M-Dogg for "starting rumors himself" about such a matter. He said he'd no better than anyone b/c he's the booker for ROH and he "would never book him on a show." ROH referee Joe told me that - as Gabe said - there had never been any negotiations between the parties, but also mentioned that he had no idea whether M-Dogg had called up ROH to ask about a possible spot and to ask Gabe about that because he had no idea. As mentioned above, I did that and Gabe denied everything. Another wierd turn in this whole fiasco... I really don't think M-Dogg would completely lie about this. Plus, Mr. Sobato did state that there were rumors that he had heard about this even before begining to investigate it himself, so I imagine there was some talks, but very not serious ones. Sounds like M-Dog was truthful that there were talks, but exaggerated a bit. That's how I interpret the whole matter. I may be wrong and it may be the other way around, but I just don't see the whole rumor that was started as being completely, absolutely wrong and M-Dogg as completely lying. For more information on M-Dogg 20, visit http://www.mdogg20.com/ For more information on ROH, visit http://www.rohwrestling.com/
