I think I need to point out the women in your "Brits go topless" scenerio: Peaches Geldof & Amy Winehouse. In my experience in abroad countries( again, all of this nudity takes place in foreign destinations e.g spain, the canary islands turkey etc. This type of nudity would never be tolerated on a UK or Irish beach) at least 90% of the women that go topless aren't that attractive to begin with. You do come across the group of several "attractive" women who are together, and sunbathing topless, but (at least in my experience) most of the women that walk around topless are usually 20-30 pounds overweight and/or ugly while they sunbathe next to their boyfriends. Oh, and there tits aren't that good or in proportion to their bodies (a-cups not matching the belly). My theory for this is the "im hot, I can get away with less is more" against the "im with the girls, i dont have alot going on and I need to get laid. Walk around topless it is". Again, this all takes place in other countries where they're less breast infactuated and have been desensitised/ don't give a shit.

Yeah, I can see the Eagles taking a TE in the 1st. I mean Celek is good, and he's willing to work, but he's more a Kevin Boss than a Jason Witten. It would be great to have both options and Celek can start no.1 while Pettigrew learns the system. They don't need that much outside of the OL. Maybe a great safety next year (there's no way Dawkins leaves, especially after his form last year). The majority vote is that they actually finally get a TJ or Boldin style WR and there appears to be enough depth in the draft that they can find a decent rookie WR in the 2/3 rounds downwards. I also wouldnt be surprised if they traded at least 1 or both picks for a great player/ picks next year. There are alot of OL and its not a huge need for our line (if Tra resigns). Max-Jean Gillies will probably take right guard and Andrews might move to RT (or vice versa). That and the Eagles seem to be forever afraid of taking someone in the 1st round.

Wasn't Huff already dropped? Who do the Raiders have at safety now? They went from having a great defence on paper (but unfortunatly not in preformance) to dropping both safetys and a defensive end (and probably more i'm forgetting). On the CB front the Eagles resigned Hanson in a 5-year deal. Not going to tear the world apart but he's a decent nickle who's young and learning. With Lito more than likely gone I'm glad he was secured.

I watched "Village of the Giants" (s5 ep23?) last night. The first thing I noticed was that the title song was used for the theme to Deathproof and got a kick out of that. The whole, Franks gone/ tribute to Frank Zappa was pretty cool too. That and I guess a young Ron(ny) Howard. The movie itself is bad/bad (as opposed to bad/good) and the lines (from the guys) pretty much save it from being a boring expierience. I guess I wanted to start off with a Mike episode, because I'm going to start working through season 1 and all the episodes I can get, that I haven't already seen.

The main thing I was trying to wrap my head around is who's taking the pictures? Is it a parent, a friend, or some pervert thats keeping the two under his/her control. Like who exposed her breasts in the bikini to take the picture? Was it against her will or is some parent tearfully exposing his/her daughters breasts because deep down they're a nymphomaniac? I pray that that ship has sailed. At the start (when all the reports just had her as 'mother births 8') I would have said there might be a change, maybe not Oprah, or as an expert, but she might get a small bit of fame. Now I see her on as one of those guests Oprah shouts at, and asks what she's doing. She's become twice as famous as she was before, but it's more in an outrage/ she's batshit crazy - kind of way.

I think part of this (as well as being crazy) was that she wanted to be a child expert on Oprah. What, you think if they spent a solid 20mins of the 40(mins) explaining putting 'y over z and then dividing it by 7' etc the audience would have a better comprehension of what happend? They might even be able to recreate it at home! The episode was 40mins long. They can't explain everything. They gave an overview on how they got back to the island. Everyone's stories will more than likely be explained over the 10 episodes either in flashbacks or whole episodes. It's not like this was the second last episode and they wanted extreme mystery. Everything will (more than likely) have an end result. The impatient people should just wait for it to come out on DVD. Now I didn't see next weeks preview as I dl'd the episode [thanks Mik!] so I'm not sure [other than what was already typed in caps; and what I had already assumed] what was on there. I get the feeling that the plane didn't crash, just that the front end of the plane passingers were removed. I wonder if that even means Lepidis (sp) is on the island. It's a strong chance that he is, but he could be like Desmond: the island might not be finished with him, but he's not needed now. Or he could be finished with him, which I believe Walt is. It would still be great to find out about Walt's story, through explination or video tape or something. I'm digging the possiblity of them being stuck in the 70s as it'll give people a first hand explination as to what was going on in Dharma in the height of their investigations of the island. I guess the rest of the season (and possibly next season) could be spent trying to get the island back to the proper time. In that first episode they had only found the wheel, so maybe they have to wait for the stations to be made so they can turn it. Overall I've thuroughly enjoyed this season. I think it's been the most solid since season1. They really have their shit together and of course I want more answers, but thats the fun of watching a show this way.
