Surely someone must have cried at the end of No Way Out 2000.
-
Sorry, I died laughing when I saw this.

Though not actually said by a wrestler, I would have to go with this immortal line from WCW.com's Nash bio: "Kevin Nash may have only three moves, but they all hurt." GOLD. No, platinum. What are your choices?

My thoughts on the Matrix:
-
Pong, with Keanu Reeves as the ball. On second thought, that's probably too demanding a role for him.

So, what exactly did Hawk die of? (I'm assuming it was drug-related)

Mark Henry in sweaty tights < Mae Young in a thong Mark Henry in sweaty tights >>>>>>>>> Mae Young in only a thong

The X7 match, by far. The wrestling may have been poor, but it sure was entertaining.

Zach Gowen.... has.... a.... t-shirt? If this is true, they had better name a state after Bret Hart.
-
Dennis Quad? Is he related to Triple H?

I would say... 1. Achilles - Ender's Shadow series (pretty much the ultimate bad guy) 2. Sauron/Morgoth - LOTR (yes, I know they are not the same person, perfect example of the "don't show the monster" rule) 3. Raven - SnowCrash (come on, he has a hydrogen bomb wired into his brain) 4. Madame Defarge - A Tale of Two Cities (proves that a woman can be an effective heel) 5. Grand Admiral Thrawn - Zahn's Star Wars trilogy (many fanboys hate him, but what do they know)
-
Maybe, but EVERYONE likes Darth Vader and he's such on obvious choice that I found it unnecessary to put him on the list. And I completely forgot to add Bill the Butcher, who certainly belongs in the top ten.

*sniff* *sniff* What's that? *sniff* Smells like bullshit...

Personally, I would say David Arquette is miles beyond the others. Most of them were simply stupid, but none disgraced the industry more than this (except maybe the Invasion).

I was about to post the hilarious Ebert review, have it on my clipboard now. You forget to mention that he gave it a zero-star rating. But then again, he gave POPEYE, yes Popeye, with Robin Williams, a higer score than the Godfather Part II, so whatever.

George, George, George of the Jungle

I hope Caterpillar wins, just so the shitty movie doesn't get released. -
What are your favorite death scenes of all-time?
Toshiaki Koala replied to TheOriginalOrangeGoblin's topic in Television & Film
Another good one from Die Hard. HANS: I am going to count to three. There will not be a four. One, two, th- TAKAGI: I don't know anything! You'll just have to kill me... HANS: Okay. (Shoots him in the head) -

1) Sean Bean - GoldenEye Best scene in any Bond film, though the antenna falling on him was overkill 2) Gene Hackman - Unforgiven Someone metioned this already, but I'll quote the whole thing: "I don't deserve this - to die like this. I was building a house!" "Deserve's got nothin' to do with it." "I'll see you in hell, William Munny." "Yeah." (Blows his head off) 3) Robert Duvall - Lonesome Dove Took every ounce of strength to keep the tears from flowing. 4) Alan Rickman - Die Hard "Happy trails, Hans." So good they used it as a flashback in DH3 5) Yaphet Kotto - Live and Let Die Funniest death ever put on film. 6) Dennis Hopper - Speed Not really much to say about it, great scene though. 7) Michael Ironside - Totall Recall Ouch! 8) Billy Drago in The Untouchables Perfect build-up. 9) Robert DeNiro - Heat Really moving scene, especially with the music. 10) Peter Weller - RoboCop Truly painful to watch, don't even want to think about the director's cut. 11)Tcheky Karyo - Kiss of the Dragon Buckets of blood. Yay! 12)Tex Cobb - Raising Arizona The look on his face was classic. -
Why Dick Tracy? Pacino has been in worse movies, so has Beatty. And it's the only good film Madonna has EVER been in. What about Christopher Walken in The Country Bears and KANGAROO FUCKIN' JACK!?

Now, more than ever, I have to say... FUCK GOLDBERG
-
That's actually not a bad list (or a good one), and does contain my favorite comedy of all time (Holy Grail). Duck Soup, The Naked Gun, and Annie Hall really should be there, though.

Yep, always trust the psychics. The end is coming!

I loved the books (read six so far), and he is indeed a great character, but isn't it somewhat of a spoiler to list him as a villain?
-
Regardless of how good the rest of the movie was, what film(s) that you've seen had the best/most memorable ending? There's the obvious Casablanca Heat Unforgiven Bonnie and Clyde White Heat The Usual Suspects Everyone seems to love the ending of Chinatown, and while it's a great movie, I thought the conclusion was grim and anticlimactic.

In many ways, the "WWE style" towers over anything on this list, but I decided to leave it off because it's not really an angle (and because everyone would call me an idiot).
