Washington was The NFL's No.2 Defense this year and The Steelers beat them 16-7. Also, I believe Bettis ran for over 100 yards against them. Good enough?
-
Figures, as I 've heard nothing but excuses from N.E. fans ever since The Steelers beat them handily on Halloween. As you pointed out, The Steelers had key players Injured for that game, as well as for much of the Season but still found ways to win. That being said, It should be a good game next week no matter who The Steelers play. We'll see.

Failed Mascot: Are you a Pats fan, or do you just hate The Steelers?
-
Check yourself again because It sounds like bitterness to me.

A lot of people tend to forget that New England (Last Season's AFC No.1) also struggled to beat Tenn. (No. 5 seeded Team last Season) 17-14 on their way to a SuperBowl win. I'm just saying...
-
Take no NFL Team for granted.
-
Whew!! In hindsight, this Is the best thing that could have happened to The Steelers. 3 Years ago,(The last time Pittsburgh was The AFC No.1 seed) They beat a damn good Baltimore Ravens Team 27-10 to advance to The AFC Title Game. It seemed that the general consensus around here was The No. 2 Seed New England Patriots were just a mere roadbump on the way to The Super Bowl. We all know how that turned out. This by the skin of your teeth win puts everything Into perspective. Hats off to The Jets, though. Go Steelers!!

They had a Royal Rumble Qualifier at a House Show? How much you want to bet they don't even acknowledge It come Monday?
-
The Steelers Offensively are playing not to lose instead of playing to win. I've been Impressed with the way The Pitt Defense has played thus far, considering they've been on the field just about all of the first half(Thanks Inept Offense!) If The Steelers end up losing to a team they should be kicking the shit out of, They may have to call out a Riot Squad to mantain order here In Western PA.

I'm guessing you didn't see what Russo and Ferrera did to WCW did you? If either one of them came back and were given Stephanie's position, WWE would be dead by now. I would still take what Russo did In WCW compared to what Steph has done In The WWE the last 4 years. Besides, all Russo did while Head Of Creative for WWF/E was help The Co. soar to record buyrates, ratings, live attendence figures, and overall Interest. What positive things has Stephanie accomplished since she was handed that position?
-
Not having Vince Russo, Ed Ferrera, and Chris Kreski under Contract, and even worse having Stephanie McMahon and her merry band of kiss ass failed sitcom writers replace them.

Anything from verbal confrontations, someone that you pissed off following you, to actual physical altercations. Discuss.

The "Beat The Clock" Idea was a cool concept In theory, but It was painfully obvious to me that after about the second match that none of The Elimination Chamber Contestants were going to lose their spot at The PPV. With the matches pratically a foregone conclusion, the rest of The Show kinda dragged for me.

Is WWF building to Batista/HHH at Wrestlemania?
Chazz replied to UZI Suicide's topic in The WWE Folder
If they are smart they'll cut their losses with Orton as a babyface and turn him heel again soon, then have Batista win The Royal Rumble and go on to face HHH for The World Title at W.M. However, this Is The WWE were talking about, so expect them to stick with The scheduled Orton/HHH Match. -
For as long as I can remember, The NFL's Washington Redskin's and Dallas Cowboy's almost have never worn their respective Home Jersey's while playing at home, Instead opting for their Away Uniform. Does anybody know why this Is? Just curious for some reason. Thanks!

O.K., so a buddy of mine was driving home from work one day when he came upon an old couple driving extremely slow In front of him. Suddenly the old man stopped In the middle of the road for no reason, causing my friend to (slowly) crash Into him from behind. When my friend got out to access the damage, the front of his car was pretty dinged up, especially for a low speed wreck. Surprisingly, the old couple's car wasn't damaged at all. The old man told my buddy something to the effect of "There really Isn't any damage", and drove off before Ed, (my friend), could get any Insurance Info. Now here Is where It gets weird: When Ed got home he lied to his Dad and told him that somebody broadsided his car In the parking lot while he was at work, (Ed works at Wall Mart) , and that they didn't leave a note. Apparently Ed and his Dad don't have the best Father/Son relationship. If Ed's had actually told the truth as to what had happened, which he should have anyways, his father would've layed Into him for not quickly taking down the couple's plate no. That In turn would've lead to a verbal/physical altercation with pop. So to avoid all that, Ed lied. But It wasn't over yet. Ed's dad made him go down to the local police station and file a complaint based on Ed's lie to dad. My question to you Is this: If the police found out that Ed was lying about the whole ordeal, could he be arrested for filing a false Police Report? I apologize for being long winded, but I had to tell the story to get to the question. And for those of you who might be wondering, yes, Ed Is the same buddy from my "An Unusual Scenario Thread" To know Ed Is to be amazed. He's like George Costanza from "Seinfeld", A buffet of bad news. Thanks!

Thanks for proving my point, idiots.

What I mean by "Get Over" Is someone trying to pass themselves off as humorous or Intelligent at the expense of others, as Is seen In this and many other threads.

Miami sometimes wear's their Away Uniform's at Home, but not always. In fact, this past Sunday Night's Game with Cleveland they wore their all Blue Uni's. I want to know whatever happened to The Redskin's Sweet Throwback Uniform's from 2 years ago? Why didn't they keep them Instead of the horrid one they got now? They could 've had The best Outfits In The NFL. Well next to my Hometown Pittsburgh Steelers, of course!

I knew It was only a matter of time before some narrow minded moron(s) came up with that "revelation" In a lame and desperate attempt to get themselves over with others reading this thread. If you even remotely knew anything about me, which you obviously don't, you would know that I'm not Ed. Besides, If I'm boring, frustrating, or angering you with this topic of discussion so much, why bother wasting your valuable free time responding to It? And Shadow, I think It Is you with The "Daddy Fearing" Issues, seeing as how you keep harping on the subject, as well as the fact that you posted In this thread on the topic more than I have.

Judging by The last 4 years, I'd say no.

My friend was telling me a couple of Months ago that he walked off of his Soft Ball Team when he thought he was being treated unfairly. A couple of days later The Team's Manager called his House Pissed Off and demanding a "$100.00 Early Termination Fee." My Friend called Bullshit on this and basically told him to Fuck Off. The Manager then threatened that If my friend didn't pay up In one week, he and The Team "Would have to pay a visit to his house and collect the money." The Manager then hung up on my friend. My Friend said at that point he was seriously thinking about calling The State Police and asking for 24 Hour Protection. I basically laughed In his face, telling him that unless he was A Very Rich, Very Important V.I.P., or unless He was The Key Witness In a Federal Case against The Mafia, he wouldn't get around The Clock Police Protection. I told him that he'd be better off going to The State Police and filling out a complaint against The Manager. That way If something happened, there would at least be a prior record of it. But I am In no way a Criminal Law Expert. I was just curious what some of you would do If you were faced with the same unusual scenario.

Those of you who responded that you would take matters Into your own hands via Firearms, I have 2 questions: 1.) Would you Inform The State/Local Police of the situation A.S.A.P. so that they'll have a record of your account In case something drastic happens, thus possibly clearing you of any criminal charges? 2.) On the off chance that The Coach and a couple of members of The Team try to Invade your crib, do you shoot to stop them or shoot to kill?
