Get Better Soon Quake!

A lot of Russo Haters bashed him for helping to create this character. I personally loved It. I thought Tenay actually shined In this role. He actually pulled off The Heel Interviewer/Announcer better than Coach currently does In The WWE,IMO.

I fondly remember that ep. I believe that was the next to last or the very last edition of The Interactive Version of Livewire. Ross and Vince Russo were hosting that day. I kept thinking Ross was having a bad morning or something because he kept going off on people who weren't even asking Insider or WCW/NWO questions. In fact, one caller even started off by saying that he thought Ross was the best announcer In The Biz, and the caller followed Ross announcing Career from the start, when suddenly good old J.R. hung up on him! JR was kayfabing, he was a heel announcer at this time. Edit: Sorry, didn't see Bob's point. That Ep aired In January 1997. I believe that J.R.'s Heel Turn was already phased out by then, which Is why I found his behavior so strange. Maybe he was just pissed with having to work with Russo that day?

Ever since WCW folded over 3 Years ago, It seems as If Vince and Co. no longer care about "Giving The Fans What They Want." It seems to be a collective "You'll take what we give you and like It." Maybe that's one of the reasons fans have tuned out In droves the last few years.

I fully agree. They either need to modify this "New WWE Style", or abandon It alltogether. Not only Is It boring as hell, but It seems everyone Is wrestling the exact same match night in and night out. Pick up the damn pace already!! Hopefully The Toronto Crowd will serve as a Wake Up call for Vince and Co. Then again...

On Howard Stern two years ago...Stephanie mention that she was promoted to creative head around October of 2000....Kreski resigned in October of 2000(the rumor around the net...was due to being burnt out)..but looking at the pieces...it was all politics that lead to his departure... I believe that much like Russo before him, Kreski did In fact get burned out with having to write 4 Hours of T.V. per week.

1 apperance for Clinton would be fine, but all season? That would get real old,IMO.

Booker T/ John Cena at SummerSlam...
Chazz replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
At least when they did this similar concept In WCW back In 1998 with Booker vs Benoit for The WCW U.S. Title, they had the sense to book the deciding Match for The PPV. -
"In Action" = Shannon Moore, Funaki, Orlando Jordan, or The F.B.I. Anybody that Angle can squash In under a Minute.

I want to see this reaction at every RAW until this abortion is finished. We're standing at two weeks straight that the live crowd has booed it relentlessly. You should know by now that It's not what we want to see that matters. If this Divia Garbage doesn't say It all, I don't know what does!

It figures that Fox moves "The Jury" to The Death Friday Night Timeslot for Shit like this. Please!
-
Granted they didn't hit a Home Run with every show, but I'd take Russo/Ferrera over Stephanie McMahon,Brian Gerwertz, and Bruce Pritchard anyday.
-
People are giving this Show anywhere from a 6.5-9.0 (On a 0.0-10.0 Scale) on PwTorch.com. What show were these people watching?!?
-
It all begins and ends with The Writing of The Shows, IMO. Stephanie McMahon, Brian Gerwertz, and Bruce Pritchard, just to name a few, aren't getiing the job done, nor do I ever think they will.

I actually like The Plot Device of an Interim G.M. It breaks the monotony of seeing The regular G.M. week after week. That being said, I still don't think It has been used to It fullest potential. When they have done It, It just didn't seem like the person they choose for The Role was running The Show In their own particular way that fit their personna. (Other than the Musical Chairs Opening to last week's Raw, It just seemed like another show,IMO) Does anyone besides me still like the Idea of an Interim G.M.? If so, who would you like to see In charge of Raw or Smackdown! for a week or two? Discuss.

This Storyline was actually done last Summer with The Hurricane In place of Rhyno. Hurricane eventually ended up finding a Tag Team Partner In Rosey. And we all know how well that has worked out.

Wasn't Stern singing Bush's Praises earlier this year?
-
That would require attention to detail and continuity. I'm surprised they even remembered J.R. being set on fire by Kane last year.
-
I agree with Russo on both fronts. The product right now, both In the ring and Storyline-Wise, Is just too damn conservative. The Company didn't acheive the success It did In the late 90's by playing It safe. Of course back then they had 2 talented writers, (Russo and Ferrera), who actually gave a damn about what the fans had to say, unlike now.

I'm not sure about the first one, but I believe the second sitcom was called "Brother's Keeper", and aired during The 1998-99 Season. You are right about the kid on the show being the same one on "Liar,Liar" Also, I believe one of The Brothers on B.K. was also Herman on The short lived Fox Sitcom, "Herman's Head." Wow, It sad that I remember all that!

I've been getting a lot of prank phone calls on my Cell Phone recently to the point that I'm thinking about getting a Tap. I've never done this before, and would like some Input as to how I would go about doing this. (Actually, I don't know If It would be possible to tap a Cell Phone, but I don't know.) But for those that have had a tap or knows someone who has, I have a few questions: 1.) How would I go about doing this(Obviously) 2.) How soon would I know the number(s) of The phone(s) In which they were calling from? 3.) Do I have to keep them on the Phone for a certain amount of time In order for It to work? Any other additional Info anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
-
Thanks, Dr. Tom. All The calls I have been getting have been marked "Private Call", which Is the apparent need for a phone tap. I remember when I was 14 years old and a group of friends and I were randomly pranking people.(Jerkey Boys were huge back then.) Anyways, mid-prank of this one call this guy blurts out. "You know I have this phone tapped." We all freaked and were scared shitless. Time came and went and nothing happened which lead me to believe that either a.) We weren't on the phone long enough for It to work, or b.) He never had a tap In the first place. More likely b, cause If you had a tap why would you tell someone? Ah, to be young and stupid. (As opposed to now being old and stupid.)

I agree. And all these 20 minute "New WWE Style" Match-Ups wouldn't be so bad except It seems like everyone Is wrestling the exact same match. Too Conservative Indeed.

I've only seen 3 Movies this Year so far: Paycheck, The Butterfly Effect, and Dawn Of The Dead. I really enjoyed The Butterfly Effect. I felt It didn't deserve half The bad press It got. Good Movie with a Cool Premise. While The other 2 weren't horrible, they weren't that great either.
