    NO BACKLASH DISCUSSION THREAD????

Wrestlemania is meant to culminate the year of wrestling, in the WWE's eyes. At WM25 they decided that meant Cena winning the championship and Triple H stopping Orton. A few weeks has gone by since then- the draft has happened, the champions have changed. It's as if the WWE was in a weird limbo period between WM and Backlash and now they've hit the reset button.

    NO BACKLASH DISCUSSION THREAD????

Three title changes....two of the defeated champions taken out on stretchers.

    NO BACKLASH DISCUSSION THREAD????

I don't see why the segment needs to be defended. Poor JR was obviously really irritated.

    NO BACKLASH DISCUSSION THREAD????

The Santina segment was horrible. It would have been a little last terrible if Beth had beat Santina instead of gently being shoved over and getting pinned but....yeah, really terrible. Good PPV so far outside of that- though I missed the Jericho match.

    NO BACKLASH DISCUSSION THREAD????

Great finish (besides the bell ringing after the first kickout). If Edge takes the World Title all titles have changed tonight.

    Over/Under

...I don't really understand what happened to this board or care to know. But I miss the TSM with interesting discussion- so can someone just send me a link to the new forums?

    SD! Spoilers 4-17-09

Wait....CM Punk, Chris Jericho, and Rey Mysterio got drafted to Smackdown? And no where to be found? This can't be right... I'm also guessing Dolph Ziggler gets drafted to SD tomorrow.

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

I felt disappointed after the show...thinking about it....I was very happy with the show up until the last match. It was a very disappointing ending. I felt Orton and Legacy should have had their moment...but even with Triple H winning....it didn't really even seem like he got his revenge. While the DQ stipulation was used well and added a certain story to the match....I feel like the match would have been much better with No DQs. The most intense feud had to end in a match that really lacked intensity.

If the main events are together like that- I'm sure they are counting on them being separated by plenty of video packages and interviews. They have to throw in the Hall of Fame stuff somewhere as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see that order change though. EDIT: Now that I look at last years order...this one is pretty similar. Triple Threat to Show/Mayweather to Taker/Edge.

WWE.com has some interesting coverage of the Matt/Jeff feud going on- "dueling diaries." Worth a look. Also...I know a lot of you are into the stage design and such: http://www.wwe.com/magazine/9660498/featur...eweek_20090324/ ...Wonder how accurate that will be. Blue and silver ropes.

Doesn't really matter what the main event is, all of the matches will be good. I might get flamed for this... But it's definitely the best WM on paper since WMX7. I totally agree. It also seems like WMX7 had more matches without buildup than this card. I can't think of anything on the card that I wish they'd just get rid of. The only thing really thrown on at the last minute is the lumberjack stipulation for the tag match. Well....the Kid Rock performance is a waste of time. I'm hoping Jericho/Steamboat get some time to work together.

Websites are "reporting" as if this was some huge mistake and WWE.com spoiled the match- but it seems to me like the shirt is perfectly suitable as something an Undertaker fan would wear at WM. They could also make a "16-1" Shawn Michaels shirt mocking it if they want, yeah?

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

It's just the big novelty return that was being specu;ated about...we were thinking Hogan or Austin- instead it's Piper, Steamboat, Snuka, and some divas. The other problem is that the title matches need to be freshened up- while Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, and CM Punk were world champions last year....the WM title scene is the same as last year- swap Taker for Show. The upside is that the matches are fairly unpredictable. The thing is though- going in to WMX7 there the card on paper didn't look like it would necessarily be the best WMX7 of all time....it's just that everything on the card was just done so perfectly and presented so well.
