Kevin Smith and The Green Hornet

Kevin Smith could remake Casablanca and I'd still expect an awesome movie. This is gonna be sa-weet.
  3. If you don't respect his opinions, why are you making a big deal about the ratings he gave to matches. No one is forcing his ratings down your throat, so it doesn't really matter if you disagree with them.
  4. Mr. Perfect, no doubt. I don't know if he did drugs in his 88 to 91 WWF run, but it's pretty imfamous how he was supposed to win the Royal Rumble in 1990. Instead, Hogan, who was already champion, stepped in and had himself win. He, along with Dibiase, Owen Hart, Rick Rude, and Jake Roberts were consistantly over, but never got a run with the big one. I don't care if Perfect did drugs, alot of guys did who were more successful with less talent. "Cough" Hogan "Cough" Steroids" Malenko I would say also, but he was Benoit with even less charisma. However, he did rank number 1 in the 1997 PWI 500. Does anyone know why? Still one of my favorite wrestlers of all time.

    CONAN is TORONTO

Too bad that was the most hilarious moment of the week so far. I was laughing my ass off, especially at the old pervert.

    American Idol 3

I only saw one episode because I'm mildly interested in it, and all I remembered was Dean Martin. Now that I know hes still in it, I'm gonna watch his episode. Good songs, good voice, he's my pick.
  8. I have the soundtrack, but recently, they have been playing a Phil Collins or Genesis song during the commercials for the movie. Its not in the movie, but I'm pretty sure that it was a popular song. Does anyone know what song it is?

    Big Fish Song Question

Ahh yes, I remember that song, it is great. I can't believe I got Gabriel and Collins confused, in spite of the Genesis connection. Thanks alot.
  10. Does Meltzer still do these lists? Ive never read the Observer.

    Can someone please explain...

THey were in Canada, therefore, Christian and Jericho were put into top level matches against heels, since the WWE knew they were going to be mostly cheered. And Test and Richards have been feuding.

    SNL Review

I was very disappointed with this episode. I don't remember laughing once. Not enough Forte. The Fallon Sanz thing went on far too long, and yes this time I agree that the constant breaking of character was annoying as hell. It was disappointing that Forte only got minor parts in two sketches. I think if they had gone for a longer Friends parody, he could have made an awesome Chandler. Hearing the rumors of Owen Wilson hosting next week brought my hopes up for a good show, but now Im not sure if I even want to watch next week. SNL still hasnt hit its stride for the season. Of course the only episode I've missed is the Elijah Wood and I heard that was pretty good. I hope SNL puts out some kick ass stuff soon. When all else fails, just have Christopher Walken host.

    King of the Hill

It's weird, I never considered myself a fan of the show, but every time I'm flipping through the channels and it's on syndication, I am almost always drawn to the humorous dialogue and the awesome characters. And I also find that the episodes with little to no Peggy are the best.

    The PS 50

I like the list, so what if some people don't agree with it. You have one guy saying Angle is too high, but if Angle was like 11, there would be double the amount of people saying hes too low. Its just a list, get over it. If you don't have anything nice to say, dont say anything.

    Big Fish

Yeah i drove about a hour to see it dragging some friends along, since it's hasnt widely opened yet. I can def say that it is my all time favorite movie. Ive always liked folklore and tall talkes and retro America and I can truly say this movie hit all the marks for me. Now, I'm not saying its the best movie ever, just my favorite. I consider the Godfather and Shawshank Redemption to be the best, while Big Fish joins Indy Jones and the Last Crusade, Animal House, American Pie, School Ties, and Orange County as my all time faves. I cannot recommend this movie enough and I am gonna see it again on Thurs.

    SNL Review

It was pretty clear the the Cash sketch was more of a tribute, thus the huge applause it got at the end.
  20. Well, I'm in college in Philly now and the combination of that with the fact that the first PPV of 2004 will be here, I found myself thinking about what the best match was that ever took place in this great city. I looked up the PPV's and the ones that were here are: Halloween Havoc 1989 w/ Lex Luger vs. Brian Pillman Summerslam 1990 Halloween Havoc 1992 w/ Windham and Rhodes vs. Williams and Austin Slamboree 1994 w/ Nasty Boys vs. Cactus and Sullivan KOTR 1995 Mind Games 1996 w/ Michaels vs. Mankind Barely Legal 1997 w/ 6-Man Michinoku Pro Match Wrestlemania 1999 Unforgiven 2000 Out of all the matches on those PPVs, I would consider the Michaels/Mankind to be the best. However, I haven't seen many non-PPV matches, including TV, and Indys like ECW and RoH for instance. Is there any match that you would consider better than Michaels/Mankind.

  22. On the Phil Schneider comp #1 from Death Valley Driver .com, the second match is a Buddy Roberts and Terry Gordy vs. Kerry and Kevin Erich Freebird/Bad Street Death Match. Does anyone know the date of this match?

    SNL Review

I can't believe you all hated it. The Hall and Oats skit was awesome, I'd never seen the Scott Joplin character before and the three Agassi's were awesome. John McEnroe - Awesome. Don't knock on JImmy and Horatio for the crack up. Seriously, Horatio wasn't laughing and Jimmy laughed for a couple seconds, then proceeded to the do the bit almost laugh free. And it was a funny bit. I think Roddick did an awesome job. Probably the best show this season. I didn't have to change the channel during any sketch and Roddick may not be a great actor but neither was Michael Jordan or Charles Barkley. Roddick has a Seann William Scott sense about him and that is awesome.

    Smackdown Spoilers

So so so so dumb. I wish Angle would use his backstage influence (if he has any) to keep the APA, Holly, Morgan, and Jones out of this match and out of this fed. So many wasted workers. It pains me so. My uiltimate match for SS - Angle,Benoit,Guerrero,Rey Rey,Ultimo vs Brock,Show,Cena,Tajiri.Chavo Raw - Booker,RVD, Storm, Hurricane, Michaels vs. Jericho,Christian, Kane, Orton, Flair Hopefully all can be involved. Goddamn WWE, wasting two SS Matches on McMahons..
