We're talking about appearence/health here, Tune. This has nothing to do with his wrestling style/effort.
-
Do you also notice how incredibly small he is getting as far as all around mass? He is so ripped and he's in phenomenal shape but he's fucking shrinking. His arms are starting to look incredibly weak and I'm pretty alarmed.
-
I think it would be cool leading up to a big Cena/Angle match in where Cena takes Angle up on his challenge much like he did in his debut. Cool way to pay homage to his first WWE match as well as spark the feud the two have been having on and off again since the "Mr. Angle" days.
-
I fucking HATED Lesnar until his match w/ Rock at SS '02. He followed it up with a pretty bad ass HIAC w/ Taker later in the year and continued to get better. He became easily one of my favorite wrestlers ever. I miss the guy

Shit, my handicap is probaby about a 25.
-
The only way I see that happening is if his Wrestlemania opponent costs him the match, which goes by the normal code of WWE booking. New guy wins in a fluke, everyone laughs at Angle and neither man gains an inch because of it all.
-
I play a pretty good bit (once a week) at the college course near my home. I'm pretty horrid out there, but I really enjoy it and hope to come into my own with my swing, etc, without taking lessons. Could someone explain the way the handicap works?
-
I'm sincerely hoping he pins one of the guys pretty clean because of a mistake they make in the Fatal 4 Way at Armaggeddon. This way he put away all his past feuds by winning one big one against all three. There is no reason why one of the faces can't turn on the other and allow JBL to blindside them w/ a CFH for the pin.

Come on, Deon. I like the guy, too, but that promo was severly botched. I was embarrased for the guy. He and Rodimer (sp?) looked like idiots.

I, for one, loved the group. Batista and Orton were made stars from thier induction. While one can argue that Randy should not be in his position at the time, he is worthy of a secure TV spot at least, IMO. These were two guys who came to Raw with pretty much nothing and now serve as centerpieces. I can't help but mark out when all four would come out dressed so well with the blaring white lights and thier bad ass entrance theme. A reunion of the original four in a few years would be something pretty memorable, IMO. Which brings me to the question.... How will Evolution be seen down the road in comparison to all the past stables over the years? Did they actually make a mark in your eyes?

Better get rid of these OAO SD threads stat! Who knows when the board will crash because of all these simultaneous posts!!!!

OK, Dupree actually DOING the French Dance while Rey is mounted under his legs has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Holy shit.

Favorite Underused WWE Wrestler?

Words cannot define your logic, sir.

I felt this same sense of being drained when HHH pinned Booker at WMXIX. I really have this soft spot for the guy and want to see him get that one elusive WWE title. Had I forked up the $35 to see this match and Booker lose, I'd have started a small riot.

A lot of RVD matches from 2001 when he came in on RAW and SD were excellent. (Austin/Rock/Angle). Those are worth picking up.

OAO Best Damned Wrestling Event Ever Thread
Just call me Dan replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
Abyss/Styles was a bad ass short but VERY sweet match. Great offense and superior bumping by BOTH guys. Good stuff. -
Any idea of how he does when he does wrestle now (DDP)? How did he look in the ring in those past appearances? This is something that has got me buzzed. After the PPV and the format TNA seems to be taking with its shows, I'm about to start watching and following starting with this week's Impact.
-
The guys cred' has to be shot now that he got straight punked by Hogan. I mean how can you get behind the guy as a threat when he came off as such a pussy who only fights with his mouth?

1995: The Undertaker, Fatu, Savio Vega, and Henry Godwinn d. Jerry Lawler, Issac Yankem, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and King Mabel 1996: Rocky Maivia, Jake Roberts, Marc Mero, & Barry Windham d. Crush, Jerry Lawler, Goldust, & HHH 1997: no match 1998: HHH was not able to wrestle (Bossman took his place in the 3 second match against the Rock) 1999: Big Show d. HHH & The Rock 2000: HHH & Steve Austin went to a no-contest 2001: no match 2002: Shawn Michaels d. HHH, Kane, Booker T, RVD, & Jericho 2003: Goldberg d. HHH Final Tally: 0-5-1 That's what I get for listening to JR. In the SS 2002 DVD before HHH gets into the EC, he claims HHH is 0-6. I add the HHH/Goldberg loss to get 0-7. My fault.
-
Absolutely. You had to know they were going to do a gang war to end the show, and I actually like the timing of it as to not let the fans know if Edge would have tapped or not, but to blare everyone's music and cut to them while taking away from the match is mind boggling. Glad I'm not the only one who was seriously into that match.

The OAO Jakks Classic Superstars Thread
Just call me Dan replied to The Mandarin's topic in Video Games
Best thing of all is the fact that CS 4 includes classic blets including the bad ass winged eagle world title w/ Yoko. I own CS1 HBK, Bret, Warrior, CS2 Flair and Mankind, and CS 3 Bret. I want CS3 Warrior, Jake and Dibiase, plus the LOD 2 pack. I'll be getting CS 4 Piper and Yoko when they pop up in stores. -
Pretty cool shit, I just hate how the theme is the same damned theme that opens every WWE DVD with the "Don't Try This at Home" campaign they've shoved down our throats. I think we've all heard enough of that one.
-
Correct. HHH is 0 - 7, IIRC. I'd look for this to become a storyline soon, and if it hasn't been brought up, he'll more than likely not win this year either.
-
Christ, are you the guy who started the Hogan legdrop from XIX thread?
