DAMN, havent seen that DDT sell out of RVD in quite some time. He seems to be channeling all of his spots from 2001. I like.
-
Pretty bad ass double knockdown there, and a great fisherman's suplex by Cena.
-
Just let it run.
-
Geez, run the ropes a little harder guys, huh?
-
Good opening, reminds me how much I like face GMs, of we must have one.

I've never really done anything but trim it once in a while. Seems like EVERYONE I know goes pretty much hairless, but I just can't. Fuck spending time in my life shaving my pubic hair. WTF?
-
Where was his fellow attendant with the save?

Another good time in NO was the Sugar Bowl being there and the fact that LSU was in the National Championship game. Yeah, wallet in the front pocket.

Holy. Shit. With all the running jokes my friends and I have about him and JR's infatuation with him, I'd cry laughing.

Funny Evolution interview on WWE.com

Speaking of Orton selling slaps, remember when he came back to Raw during the RNN period, and Vince walked by him, spoke a couple of words to his and slapped him on the shoulder? They immediately cut away from Orton, but, even in the background, you could see randy selling the shoulder like he got shot. Awesome. -
Whaaaa? What happnes in that commercial? Never seen it.

Not so great. Stick to Code Red.

You do have apoint, but this is coming from someone who, I'm assuming, hasn't been to 5 or 6 of them. It's cool the 1st time, definitely something to just experience, but, depending on the type of time he is trying to have, it isnt always recommended.

The problem, Mr. Collins, stems from the meaning we each take on of the word great. I took his post and the use of the word "great" to mean better than good, but not something of legends, as you may have taken it. If there are any who can be thrown in there with wrestler "X" and have a chance at pulling something out that would be considered better than just good, I'd give that nod to Benoit, and apparently so would CyNick. That is all I'm saying.

that struck me as odd also. But, it was only the 1st guy to take a shot at Favre, and it didn't happen again. I don't want Kobe to suffer a career ending injury because it would be so much more satisfying if "his" Lakers were absolutely run over by Miami, or if they just never looked promising again and Kobe became Scottie Pippen.

Well, that always happens. With that logic, Kane should have been coming out to Maven's theme back then. Also, I'd say the song fits Kane perfectly right now, but didn't back then. They just needed a new theme for him, and that's what they came up with. The gothic sound of his original organs theme wouldn't have been any better.

Actually, he probably did. If you've watched Benoit matches over the years, you know he is capable of carrying nearly anyone to something pretty damned good. Notice, he didn't say "All of Benoit's matches WILL be great"., but more along the lines of that the matches "can" be great. Chill out.

After re-watching the Pillman match w/ Benoit and seeing how the "WWE" style is changing into a more story-driven base, does anyone else think Regal can thrive right now in the ring? I think he can pull off some fantastic stuff with this style, especially as a face (Good point, AS.).

I live near NO and have been going for years. My biggest tip is not to try and sift through the crown on Bourbon street. Find a place to party, or get with someone who has an apartment. The smell is awful, the amount of people is staggering, and you'll be in there with a lot of big, aggressive guys who have no problem pie facing you on the ground if you're coming the "wrong" way.

Aren't HHH/Regal legit good friends? I thought I remembered reading that they were pretty close in 2001/02.

The Undertaker: 5 months later
Just call me Dan replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
I hate it. I think he looks like a jackass (especially after getting a dumber looking hat than the one he wore at WMXX), his hiar looks horrible, his attire is the same but even more bland without the writing on the side, and his matches blow. I absolutely loved Taker from his title run and beyond, and felt like he was making strides in the ring. His look was bad ass, he was in great shape, he was occasionally putting people over and trying to sell, and he had left the abomination that was himself in 2001 behind. All he did was take 2 steps back and stayed in great shape. This shit is old and overdone. For those of you who like the character, I ask, what character? It made sense for him to return to his roots to off his backstabbing brother. He didn't even give Kane a minor injury. Kane tombstones people on stairs and theyre out for a week and have another PPV match with him the next month. Taker does one on the mat and it's BAM! end of feud. Now what? Taker now has no reason to be in his current persona -
I'd like to see his back.

WWE Unforgiven 2004 Poster INSIDE!!!
Just call me Dan replied to Slickster's topic in The WWE Folder
HMMM, a color scheme and facial expression change from last year's poster. Impressive. *yawn* -
Before they do ANYTHING with London he needs to cut the high school haircut and get some tights that don't look so bush league. If the guy has any kind of look what so ever, he looks like a damned fool right now.

I would honestly say, yes.
