My "little tirade" was more of just a rant and I don't usually target anyone in particular. when reading through this thread all I came across was the same old comments about the same people. I used the simile as just an observation that a lot of these comments just seem to roll off of someone's tongue as just a biased opinion and , no matter what HHH , etc., do, they are just steroid abusing cripples. Don't get me wrong, I can be very pessimistic about the product and am everytime I watch. things haven't been so great this year. My problem just lies in what I see as no one WANTING to enjoy the product ever. Hence why I used my parent's and probably most people's as an example. You know, they just chime in and look for the things to bitch about do it, and leave. I guess I just would like to know what the hell everyone wants to happen, instead of always how much they don't like what's happening.

I have to give it up to Batista when he's on the stick. He doesn't sound so scripted and plodding along. He's no Flair, but he's to the point rather than focusing on keeping his voice in a deep range. When he grabbed the mic 2 weeks ago, I thought he came off VERY well, and I think if he can shake off any ring rust he picked up from the tricep injury, he should be fine. Most of you guys sound like my fucking parents the way you disect everything as if you never liked it in the first place. Just shut the fuck up with your whining and go watch TV in another room.

Chrstian is really becoming entertaining and a highlight of Raw to me. His smirk after checking on Lita more than vanquished my hate for that bullshit resthold in the tag match. HBK has me entertained week in and week out, plus the fact that Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I guess this is a spoiler, Mattitude may be jumping I'm stoked about RAW weekly!

How is UGS v. 3.0 running these days?
-
It's crazy how bad he got by that point. I mean go back and watch SS 01 against Angle where he took a belly - to - belly and THEN a belly - to - back FULL on the floor.

Should Kurt Angle change his music?

Angle looks incredibly better with the clean shaven head. Go back and watch old matches, he just looked like a dork. -

I'd say this is Jones' last chance to do something worthwhile. He has the look and the build, I'll give him that. Looking at the guy just screams "Main event", but if he screws up in the ring a few more times, the losses will be cut, period. -
As stated before, that would be a waste of time. Unless these two have this nagging problem with the fact that all of thier matches together have sucked, I don't see it happening. I don't think anyone wants to see it. All these shots Jericho is taking at austin don't have me salivating for a dream match because the chemistry has always been bad and the matches have been heatless. I'd like to see the duke it out and maybe have a VERY well booked match to where they put that bad record to rest, but for Austin's last match to be against someone who has proven to produce bad matches with him in the past, I wouldn't be so optomisitc.

He's supposedly on a gag order about the incident, so, in all fairness, I'm not going to judge until I hear his side.

Guy doesn't look too promising, but I CANNOT believe the shape he got into. IIRC, he was a little chubby and looked more like he'd have an a-Train build. He must have been on some amazing workout regimine. -
I wouldn't mind seeing Golberg cripple Austin. Unlike Bret Austin deserves to be on the receiving end of a major injury that kills his career DOA.... You and every one of us owes Steve Williams a debt of gratitude for bringing out the best in the business and pretty much keeping it afloat. Wrestling in genreal, imo, is only plodding along because of the mega-boom in the 1998-1999 years.

As much as a big Austin fan I always have been, I agree. I may be the only one who enjoys HBKs comeback and has been enjoying pretty much all of his feuds, but I don't want Austin to do it. All I think would happen would be a burial war between him and Huntyer, and he'd end up looking like Taker in 2001 which no good can come of. One more match. And JasonX, go watch XIX. there was no reason for him to really put over The Rock considering the Rock's role in wrestling afterwards (which I'm sure everyone in the back was well aware of well before that match), but he did it because it was the right thing.

There seriously needs to be an austin/Eddie or Austin/Benoit match taking place at XX with one of them winning. That is the only real open door he left in his career. the match should be absolutely wonderful, and the respect and rub gained after a clean pinfall would finally catapult one of those two. Where the WWE would go from there with their career scares me though......

You turned heel the day you lost the ass.

I wasn't impressed at all. His ring gear was pathetic, his voice is generic, his look is generic, his in ring ability was piss poor. He had no strength it seemd. I mean, the guy was junmping around like his adrenaline was at 100%, but each move was performed with minimal force.
-
I think this is just a replacement for the FBI. Probably a Big Show feud is forthcoming since Taker is busy. Damn "Goofs"
-
So, you're just transferring your usual CE blunder to GC now?
-
He DESPARATELY needs something to that degree.

That's almost as funny as Scott Hall's handlebar mustache from AWA. Or is it NWA? Bah, I don't remember. Just saw a pic of him and Hennig once and I couldn't contain the laughter.

does anyone think guerrero will actually do it?

He has a big chance to grab this momentum and hang on for a great ride at the top. The Smackdown side is VERY limited as far as big names go, and he is constantly being one of the focal points each week. If I had to guess, I'd say he'll stay a contender (serious) for about a year, but never be able to get it. He'll probably get the Benoit 2000 treatment. Shame though, he needs it. -
I don't see the other guy (not Yang) getting over too well with his balding, and the fact that he has the look of a man who should be about 6'5", but only chimes in at roughly 5"10. He just doesn't have any look to him WHATSOEVER.
-
Your opinion seems biased. That was the first match where someone was actually selling hard for Flair in a long time. Flair had a lot of momentum that night with the constant promoting of the match and his emotion was evident. This led to everything he threw at hunter to look devastating and moves he'd usually fluke out on (ANYTHING off the top rope) were becoming successful. He looked like a legit threat. The energy was high and the plodding was minimal. It had all the signature spots of a decent Raw match but double the energy , crowd interaction, and emotion. Matches like that are when you truly feel proud to be a wrestling fan. Bottom line is the couldn't have gone out there and tossed germans or traded moonsaults. they took what the could do and did it to perfection. If you hate HHH, that's fine, but you can't deny a good match.

Damn, Nevermortal is coming strong with his now. Which one do you like better? I'm leaning towards Nevermortal. That's just flat out great Who is that and where did you get it?

Alright, who's avatar is better?
Just call me Dan replied to Just call me Dan's topic in General Chat
So what was this now famous avatar Murder? Where can I see it if not on the board, so that I can judge? -
Thoughts on the song or what bits you can hear from the PPV hype that has begun?
