Problem with the trading would be that they would overdo it. It wouldn't be one trade it would be one after the other and they'd shoot their wad, totally giving away all the matches we haven't seen in a while and might as well kill the split. They can't have a one trade thing, they have to drag it out into some re-draft.

Go to the APO for president thread.

Why? It would be more about politics than actual wrestling. Oh absolutely. Their last match on Raw was just pure ass. I have to say that thier matches/rivalry has been my favorite of all time. I just wish HHH would lace the boots a little tighter (as he did with flair) and they tear it up. Just at a house show or something with a clean finish either way. I'd just like to see it. I don't care who'd win. Have a double countout in the ring.
-
I want to see rock and HHH go one more time.
-
Admit it though, Jeff did neither AND didn't bump. Jesus it got REALLY bad. Rob can make his opponents moves look REALLY good. He is carryable. Jeff was obviously not. No one on Raw can carry RVD. Eddy, Benoit, Angle, maybe Taker could carry RVD just fine. I think it's fairly obvious not even they could carry Jeff.
-
Main difference between Jeff and Rob is bumping. Rob still bumps with the best of them, whereas Jeff pussed out on a scoop slam.

I don't like the direction either, in my eyes he IS too good for the current state of the business. but he doesn't get brownie points for shitting on the WWE. All it does is kick the company when it's down. EDIT: Anyone got a transcript? I'm basically going on the assumption that he did somewhat shoot on the WWE and belittle it, I don't have any exacts on what he said because I caught the tail end of the interview.
-
yeah, what iis up with that? I don't know the guy personally, but he seems really two faced, and starting to really get into himself. I am near positive I may hae the same problems if ever faced with that situation, but it's not fair to those of us who have supported his wrestling career and his rise to stardom. you can't shit on where you came from. you don't have to come back, but don't try to keep the place warm if you fall but continue to step all over it as you climb.

Time for me to say once again that Helms could be to Evolution what Malenko was for the Horsemen, if he'd agree to give up that stupid midcarder gimmick. While the S.H.I.T stuff is getting pops which is more than some midcarders (Christian?) it's not going to legitimately elevate anyone. Hurricane turning on Rosey at this point could actually serve as a decent enough heel turn though. I've been begging for a Helms heel turn for a while now. Drop the superhero gimmick, cut a promo about comic books being for losers, signing autographs for kids instead of hooking up w/ chicks, and bring back the Sugar Shane name. I'd prefer he go back to SD to do it, but if it means getting a push, I wouldn't be averse to him hanging w/ Evolution. I can't whole-heartedly agree there because he'd more than likely be playing the EXACT same charcter as Hardy. I can't have that. Sugar shane Helms is a great and catch name, and he could just lighten up his current attire a bit. Problem still remains that the guy has a pretty bad speech problem, and that takes away from his interview skills (which I'm not too high on). His voice just sucks, IMO.

Don't know about the two payments. I'd say he beats Show, but loses the tag titles, meaning he will then feud with Chavo. Problem is he will lose at SS and then be relegated to a feud with Chavo.
-
Lesnar got more over for beating the heatless Big Show, wouldn't you agree? I'd say they BOTH got over because of that feud. blessing in disguise if you ask me. By Judgement Day, I was eating that feud up amidst a lot of complaining.
-
I cannot wait for this match. I love both guys, and this clash of styles may end up really owning. If Show lays down, props to him, but i think you guys are assuming way too much. I don't know if vince is going to book Show to go down clean to a 5'8" Eddie Guerrero. This match may do NOTHING for Eddy but hurt him. I'm sure you all remember what happened to Rey after his Big Show feud.

Show, Taker,Kane, Storm, HHH, Goldberg, HBK, and Orton. I can't get enough of anything they do. Bad or not, they get the benefit of the doubt from me. (This is as far as IN RING stuff goes).

Garrison Cade, Mark Jindrak & Maven

That is very true, but why can't you have these guys split up, and the couple of tag teams can just get over on thier own characters instead of multiple run-ins from thier buddies? It's just too many people and it gives way to much space for nWo booking, which has NEVER been good sans the 1st month it was created. -

Seven is just too many people. I don't want them involved in every match on a PPV card besides women's wrestling. This would be another WCW/nWo deal with one stable taking up WAY too much airtime. If you cut their air time, only few of the 7 get anything meaningful to do, and the rest become X-Pacs. Don't want that. -

Getting where, exactly? He has a good flow and his interviews are not horrible, but it all goes back to the fact that they are obviously scripted. The whole thing. I can't get into it too well with his delivery of lines written for him to say. With the way he goes through them, I think it is obvious he can carry a segment on his own mic work, but needs to do it more along the lines of what he wants to say, and not what is scripted. That's just my take on the few times I've seen him on the stick. he has the building blocks. I'm not here to start a "Suckbag Orton" argument with you, though. -

It needs to be Nowinski, Mavien, Orton, and Batista. i'm not particularly fond of all of them, but Chris is great on the mic, and Orton is getting there, Batista is your enforcer, and Maven will probably eventually breakout and we'll have ourselves the HHH/Rock thing with either Orton and Maven or with Nowinski and Maven. Cade and Jindrak should just stay a tag team and work on getting at least somewhat over/known with a tag title hunt. -
Good God, I have been calling for this to happen for the last 3 years. All of these top faces are absolutely CRUSHING thier opponents (heels) the majority of the time. With the exception of HHH, the heel is NEVER the bad ass (see Jericho, Rhyno) and the face is ALWAY incredibly unbeatable to the point of burying the heels he is up against (Taker, face Brock). It's ridiculous.
-
That promo is probably just the foundation for him to quickly abort his bombing face run after he comes back. He will come back as a tweener and go face, but when he has to fight his ass off for face heat and is unover, he can quickly make another "surprise" heel turn and cite that promo as something to where he can say "I told you so, you stupid fans". Good way to have continuity, and an easy was out of a face run that no one will care about.
-
People cared about Taker/RVD. THAT should have been the feud of the summer, seeing as BOTH guys would have still been around and not making movies.
-
I'd say Goldberg loses at RR or NWO, to the heel who will face HHH at 'Mania, (that is of course if they don't do the alleged brand vs brand card). HHH will turn face at SS and go through the Evolution feuds until RR where he will win it. Whoever this heel is (Kane, probably) will dethrone Goldberg at RR, win the rematch at NWO or lose at RR and win at NWO and Goldberg has a "dream match" with someone at 'Mania and HHH wins the belt there. HHH 2002 all over again.

This interview will be much more G-rated than the Stern interview...don't get your hopes up. She's going to try and be promoting the business with a hard sell of no Mercy and a couple of un-funny sexual innuendos. This will be a massacre. -
I need royal rumble 2002, Pm'ed ya.
