I was not impressed by that match on second viewing. It was markpout territory back in its day, but Taker did a WHOLE lot of standing ther with his hands on his hips. Taker these days could wrestle circles around his fat dead man persona of yesteryear.

Thanks, cran. If you own a Cube and like wrestling, this is a must buy. The matches are absolutely superb on hard or expert (On hard, you pretty much dictate the pace, but with an occassional fight, on expert its on!), and the replay value especially with friends is great. Leaps and bounds better than X8 and the best Wrestling matches I've had in years.

Sweet, and if there is a Jap voices version, I will be sure to constantly play with that on and gasp at the sheer awesomeness. By the way Damaramu, please don't take our little misunderstanding (VERY little indeed) as anything, I can totally see where you are coming from, and I am ignorant to any knowledge you might have of DBZ. I'm just enamored by what I have seen, and that's all I know. It's not perfect, but it does the job for me.

Back to an earlier point, I was asking if anyone beat Revenge with Goldberg, because when I beat it with shawn, it was Goldberg who i saw in the hall and was at the end. So, if you ARE Goldberg, I was wondering who it is.

I saw advertisments at my Wal-Marts in early August promoting the English version of the Brolli(sp?) movie on DVD. It was pretty heavily promoted as coming out on the 26th, and I never saw it. Has anyone picked it up or reviewed it? Does it exist?

I like the voices, and that is my opinion. The Japanese versions (the originals) sound too high ppitched and lack emotion (I don't understand the language). Basically, that is all I've seen. I in no way said "American DBZ RULEZ, JAPANS SUX!!" I just watched America's version and enjoy it. Is that so wrong? Does there have to be some DBZ "purist" chastizing me because I don't have superior knowledge of the original? Give me a break.

Downhome, you and I are a lot alike in our approaches to near about everything as far as I've read over the last year on the board. I went into it with an open mind and I kind of enjoyed it at first, seeing as I only played an exhibition match or so before beginning. I smiled at first, seeing new moves from a new character I'd never played before, and I felt like it was final fight with cooler moves. Then the AI kicked in and my pessimism kicks into overdrive. You hate it, and you get flustered, and you KNOW you have to play it to get money. You could start over with someone new and just keep getting money, but you HAVE to beat it. It gets even dumber and even harder and VERY repetitive. I will beat it one time and NEVER set foot in there again, as I don't usually screw around with the CAWS anymore because they aren't like No Mercy's.

But that takes away from the overall product of the matcch because it means the scheduled it around commercial breaks for fear of not being able to carry the full 60 like Rock/HHH, HBK/Bret had to do.

I don't cdoubt Brock would not want to sit this out, but how does the finish factor into it? surely they could rewrite it to favor Angle had Brock been slated to win, but if he's not out for very long and has to tap again to Angle, what the hell can he do to look good? I may be alone here, but I really thought he was walking away with the strap here because he has been buried pretty heavily, but since he may not be able to run with the title because of a nagging injury, should the burial continue?

If you've read the past info on the game, you know what we are referring to, and it is no secret no one likes it. We have to play through it to get money to buy parts. Bitching about the fact that it is in the game is long over.

That one is pretty hard, but wait until you get to its next level. You won't beat it.

Can Angle Tap Out Brock? What does that mean? Brock is getting more heat than he ever has with these chants. It shows some form of weakness, and it helps establish Angle a bit. If you remember around WMXIX time, Brock basically made Angle his bitch, and was in the same position as Angle is now. They had to build Angle back up as Brock's equal. I'd say Brock is taking it home on Thursday, further creating the sense of equality. This helps build the title matches as anything can happen without the normal "Champ just got the belt, he'll have it for at least 3 months" deal. It helps the matches have unpredictable finishes.

Revenge mode seems passable at first, but just wait until you get to like the fourth stage on each level. then we'll see how much you like it. I don't think there is any way possible to keep them from messing with the controls on the level where you have to prevent 2-3 guys from climbing a cage for 4 minutes. I don't think I can possibly beat it.

There must have been a lot of wrestling fans in that university. It seems as if he met up with a bunch of smarks and talked to them. Cool stuff.

OK, well if I were to create a Kane from scratch, where the hell is his attire? Is it not in the game? I can't find a shirt or pants or kneepads even remotely close to that. I think the CAW sucks. why can't they just make available everything already in the game (the wrestler's items) and just a few more additions? Probably take up less space and be easier. Fuck!

I HATE most of his unreleased stuff, and people seem to mark like bitches for it. This is one instance where I just liked the studio shit. Can't decide whether or not to try and burn it or just go and grab it off the shelf.

I was probably the ONLY man on this board who was stoked to see HHH/Berg. Not because HHH had to drop the belt and/or Goldberg gets made to look like a fool and gets canned. I really wanted to see it. HHH working hard (ala with Flair) can still carry a match. Goldberg and Hunter could have probably put on a decent spotty match, and made it emotional. HHH can barely walk now, and he won't stay out of the ring. Does he NEED to get those 3 moves in the tag matches? I can see him aggrevating the shit out of that injury een more before the PPV. The match is going to suck ass. It would have had a hrad time being good as it is, but it is screwed now. I'm really considering missing my first PPV in 2 1/2 years.
