This is excellent, I was just laughing my ass off at Heenan while watching the HBK DVD. During the infamous "Barber Shop Incident", right after Shawn throws Marty through the glass, Gorilla Monsoon is livid. Heenan exclaims "Marty Janetty just tried to dive through that plate glass window to escape!". Hilarity ensued. God Bless Bobby, this is the best news I've heard in a while! (although I'm VERY late)

I am definitely a full fledged college student, so there is no way I'd have time to get into school and training. Years down the road if I continue my training regimine, I may have the size. The charisma is all there, but I am also only 6'0", which really hurts. I'm an English major and do lots of writing, and have been watching wrestling for over 9 years now. I'm going for my PhD and aspire to be a university professor, but I will definitely try and get on a writing job with the WWE in the future. Who knows , with my extensive smartmarks board training, I may be the messiah you are all waiting on!

It looks as if they just stuck Batista with a regular powerbomb. his finisher has always been a sit-out version. Looks crisp and I like the generic rock in the background. He's really missing his wrist tape, and I sure hope you can change little things like that in the finished game. I can't stand these games where you can't tweak the wrestler's attire, it's ridiculous.

Well, to me, being dastardly and putting a one-legged man into tight spots would be good for his character, but Zach would then need to turn on him eventually, bringing things right back to where we are now, and that is no good.

Oh I agree, RVD can easily hold my attention, but his lack of ground moves is really becoming apparent, and I really can't see him meshing well with too many people, especially being a face and needing to be on the offensive most of the time.

I'd call HBK's spotty brawls, but not just spot fests. He held his own in there when he had to wrestle, and his were much equivalent to Rock/HHH in 2000 type matches. Problem is with RVD is that he does not do one wrestling type manuevr such as a suplex or slam. It's all aerial. He's about equal to a Zach Gowan match and he has two legs!

OK, so even if Zach is recruited, how does that give Hardy something to do?

Well, let's say I bought this PS3. I wouldn't know I was duped until the actal games were released years later. Really, what the fuck would you do with it? Bragging rights? where does Zach go after that then? He'll either be in the tag title contention with Moore, or get canned like Crash. Fuck adding more people as Mattitude followers. Let that be the fans and get Hardy on his own track and headed for a title. The last thing I'd want him involved in is some BS stable that can just be used tyo get squashed all at once for a Big Show face turn or something.

Damn straight, I would have made it a spoiler too. this has got to be the Year of Bait and Switch. I mean how many advertised matches (a GREAT way to garner ratings) were totally dropped (a really BAD way to garner ratings) this year alone?

I think itd be best if you just said you won't be around as much, and may not be able to participate on the board as much as you'd like to. This ALWAYS comes back to bite people in the ass because they usually end up coming right back, and catching flack for it. It's needless. I commend you on wanting to pursue a career as a firefighter, that is very honorable. As much respect as you deserve, I think you could garner it much more easily by bypassing a tell all thread like this and just quietly exiting. Good luck.

The ONLY good thing to come of that would be if Taker would get pummeled by Kane to put him over. Taker has ALWAYS made Kane his bitch and as much as I would HATE to see that match, Kane REALLY needs a win over Calloway.

Thats is something to take into consideration. Where does KANE go after this? Do any of you really think they are pushing a Shane PPV match as a more important match than this one at Summerslam?

I'm near positive they'll replace Booker as the "face who has a belt just for the hell of it and just makes random appearances and has no real place on PPV" and hold thte title for a while until Booker gets back and they'll probably do a face/face feud. RVD/Test, RVD/Christian, and RVD/Jericho will probabaly be the feuds for the next few months.

I think XX is going to be one big retirement party where you will see guys like HBK, Flair, Nash, Austin, Hogan, etc wrestle their last match. Guys like Rock can easily be put into one of those "Dream" match types and not be a title focus. I think Vince might continue to test the waters with Goldberg and see if he will stick it out for a Survivor Series title run. Trips will retain, and be headed up against Kane at Unforgiven where he will drop the title. He will get his ass pretty much handed to him, and be able to shake that loss off with video packages of his injury, etc. (He'll get it back). Goldberg will continue to get pushed and seem like a lcok for the belt, where they'll pull the slow burn for a while and throw that pesky Jericho in the way a time or two, and maybe put him over someone else as well. The monsters will collide and GB takes it at SS, and they hold off on the "big" HHH/Berg match for Mania or Rumble if HHH is not a lock to walk out with the win in the battle royal. I'm going to say that Jericho doesn't get a title run for quite some time, if ever. At least not until mid (transitional period) 2004.

I could see three people holding it. Goldberg, Kane, and Jericho will all get the title again, before HHH beats Kane. I could see Goldy getting it at Summerslam, but constantly being hoarded by Jericho until he does a totally unclean job to him at Survivor Series. Kane will probably continue to get pushed to the moon where he finally dethrones Jericho at the Rumble and hold it until Junter beats him at Mania for the title after a small absence after Summerslam. I see him winning the Rumble again much like Austin used to do (every other year or so). What about you guys? I don't mean this as just another HHHate thread, but I really don't get the impression that if he drops the title, he won't regain it in the not too distant future. who's going to hold it, and in what order?

That movie killed any like I EVER had for Jean Claude's movies. Ugh what a horrible picture. I was joking about the Trips thing, but it is the only feasible way I could see him going over.

He had me going when he was staring down with that grimace on his face. It looked like someone who was sitting in the back and was just told they'd be out for a while right in the midst of a push. when his elbow pads were down on his forearms and his knee pad was nearly off, I was had. I agree, though, on seeing Steiner move into position. I was watching him to see if he'd do it, and he delivered.

He'll have a role probably similar to Savage's is Spider-Man. From the looks of Blade II's wrestling undertones (finishes off the last guy with a delayed vertical suplex!) I could see him and Trips squaring off in the ring. HHH will job, but trust me, when Blade starts to really fall off the map with too many sequels, HHH will get it back in one of the straight to video sequels.

I just wonder how long this Kane monster push can continue. Who will he logically run into next besides the World Title holder? It seems as if they are probably going to want to rush right into a Kane Title program, but I can't see him beating goldberg for the title ESPECIALLY if Goldberg has only had a month or so reign. I could see Jericho coming out on top of the Elimination Chamber, and Goldberg getting screwed in that match. Golberg will beat Jericho at Unforgiven if so, but where would Kane fit in there? Goldberg wit the title will produce some MAJOR politicking, and I wonder if Kane will ever see a title push if Goldy gets it first.

Who's taking it though, that was the question.

I'm just not sold on Goldy making it to WM and being in a top title match. I know they probably have thier hands full in trying to figure out where the top feuds will fall in the next few months. I HOPE HHH retains at Slam because I want him to lose in a one on one contest where he is just beaten, much like WM19 COULD have ended. I'm pretty sure he'll take a pin in the near future and drop the strap clean, he has no reason to worry about getting it back or being in the midcard.

A lot of the costumes are horrible innacurate. Benoit NEVER wears WHITE wristape. The Rock entrance is incredibly well done, though. This game looks like a disappointment all over again. I've got the Gamecube, so I'll be crossing my fingures for WMXIX, but the real wrestling game will be SD! HCTP.
