I missed most of it and wanted to see this. My question is in regards to Franklin's home. did they show much of it? Did he have a nice pad? I guess I'm curious to see how the guy does with his earnings as a top player for UFC. I'm under the assumption that White doesn't pay him much at all, but, with endorsements, etc., how does he appear to be doing? Better than teaching I'd assume.

Sorry for resurrecting the HHHaate, but I have observed something that just drives me mad. Why the hell does HHH have to be the final person in the order of stars featured in the opening WWE "The Power is back" promo that airs before each show? If you look at the progression, the eras are showcased from beginning to present. During this, the Rock/Austin stuff is shown, then stars such as Angle and Guerrero and then you see the emerging guys of today like Rey and Cena. The final clip is Triple H from 2002 which is well before most of the clips already shown. Is this not just aggrevating to the rest of you as it is me? That clip should have been right after the Rock/Austin stuff.

Did anyone actually go out and see this flick yet? Does it live up to all the hyp the commercials give for the execution scenes? Is it worth my money to see some pretty hardcore blood and guts? Anyone? Bueller?

Saw this flick last night and I must say, I enjoyed it a lot. Actions was great, gore was well done. Few things I didn't really get: Cool movie, I'd recommend checking it out in theatres. The 10:15 showing last night was filled to the brim. Your thoughts?

Thanks a lot, Blade. That was quite helpful.

Thanks, I fell asleep during parts of the 1st and tried to put the pieces together while watching the second.

Triple Threat Matches that never were
Just call me Dan replied to humanoid92's topic in General Wrestling
These are triple threat matches that NEVER WERE. Lesnar/Angle/Benoit headlining Survivor Series 2003 would have been wonderful. That was the plan for a short period of time. -
*SPOILER* No Way Out Main Event Revealed
Just call me Dan replied to ANKLELOCK's topic in The WWE Folder
What I'm waiting to see is how badly booked the finish to this match is. Taker isn't getting beat without a ton of interference from his Wrestlemania opponent and Angle will be booked to look like shit. This makes me groan because it will be the beginning of Angle's return to his goofy persona. -
Since I can't get out much and my thread was just cast aside (??) can someone describe some of the gore scenes with spoiler tags? I'd like to know what the fuss is all about. Thanks.

Steiner at SurSer 2002 was pretty fucking fantastic before he botched his career. DDP on Raw revealing himsef as the stalker had me marking pretty hard. I REALLY wanted to see a true DDP/Taker feud that portrayed them as equals. What a shame.

I still have yet to have ever been able to see Rock/HHH at JD2000. It really pisses me off. Release the match on DVD!!!

Anyone checked out Tiger Woods for 360?

I still can't watch the"Hurt" tribute video without dropping a few.

I'm still crying.... I'm so shocked and upset. I can't believe he was ripped away from this world so abruptly. If I could say one thing to Eddie it would be like many of you have said...Thanks. He fucking tore it up in that ring every night and I thank God WWE gave him the ball, even if it was for a short period. I'm going to miss him so much. I pray that his family and friends are going to be alright. Thanks Eddie, rest in peace.

My girlfriend is completely attatched to this show and missed it tonight due to our forgetting. She is really upset and there are no plans to re-air the show in our area. If ANYONE can please help out, I need to get my hands on a copy of this ASAP. Where can I download it or can anyone sell me copy of the tape? I would greatly appreciate the help. PM me or reply so I can resolve this small crisis! Thanks in advance, guys.

Can't thank you enough, my friend. This is a huge help. This is why I love this place. Thanks again.

Forgive my ignorance. ABC is DLing it right now. When it finishes, the file will be saved in My Documents in a place I can find it. Then I just open it in a media player or what?

I met Maven in Vegas shortly before Vengeance and took a picture with him. Its a shame the guy lost his job, but if he'd have had the passion for the business he wanted us to believe he had, he could have at least been capable enough by now to have had an IC title match with Benjamin. If the WWE doesn't have enough faith in you to be carried by Shelton, you've got to go. Jobbed out or not, his ring skills should be enough to warrant faith enough to carry a curtain jerker of a match.

Although the match was nothing special, is anyone else just a bit disappointed that thier 2003 match and surprise one time appearance on Raw with RVD/Kane got left off?

Batista: World Champion, pimpin dresser...
Just call me Dan replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
Am I the only one who thought he was just referring to his arms as machine guns and this taunt was just as if he was firing them off? -
Check Amazon also, they have just about everything even if they are out... I have about 75-80 and have gotten all the past releases from them over the years for a great price when buying used.

Yeah, that would be kinda Matt's fault if he decided to shoot on himself. Just the thought of someone "shooting on themself" during a promo.

As far as I'm concerned, this match could not have happened at a better time. Both guys may be right at the edge of thier careers all going downhill from a physical standpoint, but 9 years ago Angle would not have been game for creating a classic, and neither would Shawn in the prime of his political career. Michaels has shown, at least to me, that he can still bring emotion and raw performance to a match and carry the ball (ex: Survivor Series 2003, Summerslam 2002, Taboo Tuesday 2004). Angle has not shown to me even in recent light that he is done doing the same. His pairings with proven performers is well documented as well ( Summerslam 2001, Royal Rumble 2003, vs Eddie on smackdown in 2004 [ 2 out of 3 falls ]). Michaels has been put over strong, IMO, to lose. There is an old school feel to this build which I don't think has been capitalized upon since Rock/Brock in 2002. This is both guy's chance to leave it all in the ring and keep everyone glued to them and thier performances up until thier impending retirement I envision happening at the latest in the next 2 years. They know that. This can still and will be excellent. The here and now is not as bad as you make it seem.

So, does this work as in I can pay 6-10 bucks and I have this channel playing all the time? Or is this pay for certain programs one by one?
