Since you can't hold the European Title anymore, and with the addition of another world, midcard, and tag title, what would be considered a Grand Slam now?
Has anyone actually held the grand slam in the company?
Would you consider the Grand Slam now to encompass six titles?
If so, there may be only one person I can think of who's won them all.
Edge held the WWE title (from Cena), the WHC (from Taker), the WWE tag titles (w/ Mysterio) the WTTC (w/Christian, Benoit, etc.), the IC title (multiple times) and the US title (from Angle (?))
Is that fair to consider so many titles?
What do you guys think?

Man, no love for the Angle MMA session last week on Impact? I thought it was very well done, and I'm loving the build to the match to the point of really considering ordering the PPV. As long as they keep Karen directly out of this feud and shes only a catalyst to the impending AJ/Kurt deal, color me excited.

I'm on the Shawn/Cena kick again. I want to see them "finish" that feud the way it was intended to finish. Even if Shawn never beats him for the belt, that feud was money as ar as in-ring competition was concerned. Shawn's reaction to the finish of the 4-way at Backlash was awesome.

Theyd have to move the tapings date from Tuesday to live on Thurs or Friday with the network switch, and he might. He can't miss his weekly bible study.

As if I didn't like Lytle enough, he killed Kyle Bradley who is the boyfriend of a friend of mine from high school and is a total douche.
-
They also hot-shotted the Booker T/ Lance Storm World Title match on NITRO with Booker going over clean. It was like Nash/Wrath all over again with better workrate. No point.

Candice improved and can pull off some moves. That does NOT make her a properly trained wrestler. Please don't take this as me trying to pick fights, I just want to argue the point a little. Let's not even start with the difference in calling someone "properly trained" and the aforementioned "barely trained". What, in your eyes, makes someone properly trained? They've thrown this girl in the ring for what 4 years now? What does she have to do, work her way up through indy feds, pay her dues and graduate OVW to be "properly trained"? Shouldn't her healthy amount of actual ring experience coupled with former training be enough to at least not lap her in with women who just outright shouldn't be in the ring? Do you really agree that she's just eye-candy?
It's more in the types of training. In basic wrestling training the emphasis is on learning fundamentals, learning how to work a basic match, getting your timing down and all that fun stuff. It's a bit different from learning how to do spots in a match. The big problem is that WWE's women increasingly attempt more dangerous moves in the ring without that proper foundation, and it bites them.
We're eye to eye now. Thanks

First one I ever ordered was Wrestlemania XV and I attended Bad Blood 2003 with a friend in Houston.
That PPV gets tagged with one of the "worst ever" tags, but it was nice to see HBK/Flair even though it was aborted halfway through, the Jericho/Goldberg match was pretty cool, saw the Steiner flop live and the HITC wasn't bad.

This is what happens when you put barely trained centerfolds in the ring. I don't get why WWE doesn't grasp the difference between eye candy and actual women workers.Barely trained? Did you not watch the WWE programming of 2007 and watch her improve in Trish Stratus levels? She's not the best wrestler out there, but one of the better in the division and seriously improved. I have no idea what you are basing this on. Maria? OK. Candice? No.

Cena and Taker faced a few times over the summer of 2003. That's not the point. We've already discussed why it's not the best option beyond a heat standpoint for WM25.I 100 % agree with you that WM25 is not the time or place. Sorry for not clarifying that. I quoted RedJed's post for a reason in that I was talking specifically to him. I don't get why he doesn't see it as a huge draw or THE match and I'd like him to clarify with more than just that "it's not fresh" which I disagree with.
-
I still dont get the reasoning why some are saying Cena/Taker is the big draw match. Its not like the two havent worked against each other before, hell, didnt they do a match with them on one of the amped up Raws last year even? I just dont get it. While Taker/Michaels is certainly not THE match that should main event Mania next year, its a great upper card bout. What the hell kind of reasoning are you using here? Name some people who HAVEN'T faced off with one another before. Cena/Taker has happened TWICE to my recollection. Once about 4 years ago when Cena was just a mid-carder on the rise, and your aforementioned Raw match with a non-finish. The match was quite on fire and the prospect of the streak going up against Cena's unstoppable booking would have us all snagged. What's your beef?
-
No one can confirm or deny the bogus sounding Matt story?
-
The biggest draw would have to be a Taker/Cena main event. No way to know who gets the duke.
-
Without fantasy booking, how do you guys NOW see it going? I don't mean how you want it to go, just how the finish will be given the double-turn.
-
Let us not forget Eddie Guerrero. You could argue that he was killed by his addictions in the end, but he made it. When he was re-hired the last time, I just KNEW he'd be mid-card for life and was a relapse waiting to happen.

That taller guy who is a "poet" is a straight up geek. I really feel for the guy because he's so awkward it's over the top.
-
Best wishes, Ripper. So sorry about your mother. Try and keep your head up. Props on the care you given her, takes a real man.

Geez, imagine the hair-growth

He seemed like more of an overall douche than a nerd. If he'd just cut out the smugness and try to attract women, I'm sure he could. No big loss.
"It's just business, ladies"
-
Havng one of he geeks just be a gay guy makes zero sense. He isn't so intimidated by the beauties because he doesn't care if they could ever be attracted to him or not.
The 1st guy who lost was a good choice.
Gotta love the loud mouth cowboy with that sequined American vest.

The scene where Cromarte took out all the feds with "When the Man Comes Around" playing was pretty nice. I really liked Derek's present to John on his birthday and thought that was one hell of a moment. The ending, though, who cares? Like a simple car explosion would even scare anyone into thinking Cameron was in trouble?
-
Wow, that is gross.

I think it's safe to say he is done for good after the press conference today. Never say never I guess....

I can't see the brand/title making it through the next 2 years.
