  1. OK, if a guy returning from a 2+ year hiatus walks right in and out with the belt in one night, hell freezes over. I could see this happening in 2000 WCW, but nowhere else. This is complete nonsense. Triple H comes back and gets a few starter programs. Goldberg didn't even get a title run for a few months after steam rolling through THE ROCK. Yoiu're insane.

Orton may not have won tonight originally, but he'd have won by Cyber Sunday. Because I can't think of any reason why he'd have earned a rematch after jobbing at NM, I'd say he snagged the strap here to begin with.

Cena goes down, with the plan to presumably transition the belt to his Mania opponent through Randy, and all of the sudden they panic and throw Jericho the strap? You're mad. Orton takes it maybe a month before it was originally planned and Jericho may, if he's lucky IF HE EVEN RETURNS NOW, get Cena's Mania slot.

If you think for one second CHRIS FUCKING JERICHO will walse in on his first night back and be given the WWE TITLE, you've lost it. Go write up your dreams in the fantasy booking folder.

...I'm not even going to bother. You can't even spell half correctly. I'll sum up so you can understand. Shit happens. Plans change. Hunter/Kennedy was the plan for WM. Not likely to happen now because Kennedy is a fucking moron. Cena's out. Orton/Hunter is the logical WM main event now, but Hunter isn't going to start that feud until he can win it. He has shown NO interest in doing anything but putting himself over since he came back. Need I remind you of the week where he buried FIVE PEOPLE IN ONE SEGMENT?

So I ask you, oh so logical one, who the FUCK is Orton going to feud with until WM time? Anyone? ANYONE AT ALL? Lemme put it this way: THERE ARE NO OTHER PEOPLE. Lashley isn't even gonna be back UNTIL around RR time, if not later. Cena's out till AFTER Wrestlemania.

Jericho's their only choice, and he may not win it on Sunday, but I can pretty much fucking guarentee he's walking straight into a main event program.

OK. I apologise for spelling "You're" wrong ONCE. The spelling jab makes you look like an asshole. Did you read the post?

Randy can feud with SHAWN MICHAELS, whom he took out. Remember that? Are you on the writing staff for WWE?

Anyway, I was merely pointing out that it will not happen that Jericho would leave WWE champion on the night of his RE-DEBUT. I agree with you on the whole main event program deal, even suggesting that it will be Jericho in the slot that the flagship of the company (Cena) would have occupied.

I can't fault you for believing what you believe, but why tear me apart without looking at what I said?

I believe Orton was slated to win the title to transition it to someone else to freshen things up and give Cena a chase. I believe Jericho would be one of the, if not THE top guy when he returns. I just don't think he would ever possible win the title in his FIRST NIGHT BACK.

    Calm down.

  3. This is not some throwback to ECW booking, IMO. There is no one on the team who gives a shit about that. This is hotshotting the BDV/Punk feud so they can quickly throw the strap back on Morrison. Punk will pull a miracle win, and next month we'll see Morrison in the main and eventually with the title. They accomplished the short little feud they wanted and then it's back to their project with Morrison.

  4. I know the WWE considers Smackdown the "B" show, but I seriously cannot fathom their placement of its title matches on the card, especially considering the finsihes of the Raw title matches lately. Other than Survivor Series 06 with Bats pinning Booker, this belt gets shit on, even when the fucking UNDERTAKER is winning it.

  5. Right now I pretty much given up watching Raw until Cena looses the damn title. I just can't stomech Cena as Champion anymore. its just way to reptitive for me. I was really pulling for Orton to win at Unforgiven but sence it didn't happen. I'am talking a vacation from Raw until Cena does loose the title. Thank god for SmackDown and ECW. both shows have been ten times better than Raw anyways.

I'm going to assume you were shit-faced during this rant full of terrible spelling and grammar. Good lord!

I want to know who you all would possibly be entertained by more? ANYONE else who wins the title will have a paint-by-numbers reign until they drop it to the next challenger, which we see a mile away. If a heel wins it, he will keep it via DQs and cheap finishes and gain nothing. The only other face to take it would be HHH. Do you really want to see more of his comedy? I was so excited for the guy to be back, but he's fucking driving us all batty with his tired jokes.

Let's say a heel such as Orton takes the strap. Who does he face other than HHH? If he faces HHH, he drops the title. When HBK comes back, he'll squash him and take the title. Orton, in turn, looks like a pussy. If he faces anyone else, who would it be? Jeff Hardy? Hornswoggle? Would that elevate anyone or even sell PPVs considering the fact that they'd be duking it out for the title in the midcard like Smackdown?

Kennedy isn't taking it. He signed his own death-wish when he "injured" Lashley. Lashley will return and mop the floor with the guy and he WILL NOT be in line for some big push by WM24. Did you all forget about the years past full of guys on the card like Jericho, Chrisitan and even Benjamin (pre-mama?) who went NOWHERE?

What the hell do you expect from Cena? This isn't his fault. He sells merchandise more than anyone on the roster, his PPV matches (given time) normally bump ****, he works his ass off (other than non-finish Raw matches), and the fans, whether booing or cheering, get off of their hands NO MATTER WHAT during his matches. They just sit there and pick their nose for everyone else.

In a perfect world, the booking wouldn't suck balls, and an anything-can-happen feel would be prevelant in all the shows. (Watch a UFC card or a football game if you don't know how that feels). Instead, the same tired old gimmicks and tired old booking schemes lead the way.

This has NOTHING to do with Cena holding the belt forever. He's doing, to be honest, better than anyone else could do with a babyface run this long. Bitch about the writers and the direction the booking has been going for 7+ years.

  6. This was the perfect time for a Mysterio win with the monsters canceling each other out. No better image than Rey dropping the dime after Bats spinebuster or spear and scoring the win. It would have made this PPV better tenfold.

I agree, but Batista had to win. This would have marked his, what, 8th title match loss in a row? He lost to Taker twice, tied once, Edge 3 straight, ad hasn't been able to beat Khali since he started chasing him when Edge got injured. It was cool that Rey didn't take the pin, and that's the best we could ask for. You will NEVER see a Mysterio title win again other than the one you make happen on Smackdown vs. Raw. Batista winning wasn't half the moment Rey shocking the world again would have been, but he flat out had to win.

Kind of a dick move considering Rey had to go through a tournament and win, beating Dave himself, only to have to move over for Dave to get in the match ANYWAY and take the title. Some friend.

  7. I have to admit that I laughed my ass off last night when Cornette said there would be another reverse battle royale. It's almost like TNA doesn't get the memo sometimes that some of their ideas just suck. Who exactly is going to be in this thing if Joe and Christian are in a separate match?

    Jeff Jarrett

  8. I cannot believe people are upset about this.

It is fucking pro wrestling. Stop acting like you bet money on it.

Speaking for myself, I wasn't upset. I just really cite this as an example of what makes me long for serious feuds that didn't revolve around comedy. I wish there were more feuds like Cena/Orton on down the card. I really miss every main feud being competitive and serious, ala before Crash TV.

  9. He could match up A LOT better with the smaller guys in Light- Heavyweight.

If he drops about 15 pounds on his own, he can sweat the rest out before the weigh-ins.

I can't see Griffin/Jardine/Ortiz/Evans beating the guy, so if he were to stram roll through two of those, he'd be in the title hunt. He'd hulk over most of 'em, and if they give him any respect at all, he'd be a killer.
