Train can wrestle, talk, and not injure someone
SteakGrowsOnUecker replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
So you'd rather see Benoit, Guerrero, Rhyno, and Tajiri maineventing over Angle and Brock Lesnar? Benoit and Guerrero should be doing something at the WWE title level. No question, but I don't think Rhyno and Tajiri are up to those standards yet. Ultimo should be used in some sort of CW matches with Mysterio and Kidman. I'm not sure why they haven't had a CW title match in awhile. I think ultimately they are trying to start a Kidman/Mysterio feud. -

Ultimo's been in the company for a month and you already want him being put over above guys that have paid they dues. -

Mysterio has the CW titles and is constantly threatening for the Tag Titles, he sure isn't getting much of a push, huh? Guerrero has the US title and Tajiri, Rhyno, and Benoit are all feuding for it. You can't have 17 guys all fighting for the WWE title. And all A-Train is doing is feuding with the Undertaker. He's taking on someone his own size and it should result in some good matches. -
I doubt it unless you count sparklers as pyros.

A-Train gets better reaction then Jamie Knoble. Atleast he gets some type of reaction from the crowd. -
Three thousand people dying should not be made a mockery of. There's absolutely nothing funny about that whole damn situation with the Night Club fires either. Since I didn't see the original post that Bob made in regards to the Night Club incident I won't hold anything against him. That happened in the past anyways. This is the present. The current problem is with the mockery that's taken place about all of the French people died due to 100+ temperatures. Death shouldn't be taken lightly no matter what the circumstances are.

Ok About the Bears... Bryan: Ted Washington HAS to be HEALTHY. That's should be their top priority. Without the big man eating up Lineman in front of Urlacher...his size becomes a hinderance and takes away his speed as a plus. Both big men on the Defensive line Washington, and Traylor are healthy this year. Byron: Also, their secondary is horrible. McQuarters is a decent corner, but he's really nothing special when you consider they inhabit the same division as Randy Moss Give me a break. The bear secondary is a lot better then meets the eye. Last year when they were playing everyone was injured they were using second and third stringers in there. Mike Brown is a phenomenal FS and Mike Green the SS showed a lot of improvement throughout last year. As for the corners Jerry Azumah is an excellent corner back that gets no publicity. RW is very good but has problems with injuries. Back Up Todd McMillon is one of the hardest hitting corners I've ever seen. He was a huge surprise last year when he and Roosevelt Williams subbed in for the injured RW McQuarters and Reggie Austin. If you saw the Bears preseason game this year you would have noticed how incredibly good and deep they're defense is. The reason why the secondary wasn't so good last year was because the offense had them on the field the whole game. When the offense goes out and goes three and out every possession it's pretty hard to get a rest. The key to the bear's success is the offensive line improving and Kordell Stewart playing well. If that doesn't happen then the bears will have another dismal season.

Smackdown: I could actually see Eddie Guerrero winning it. He's really over with the crowd right now and if he wins it Benoit might get inserted into the title picture again. I'm growing tired of the Brock vs. Angle constant feuding. Its been going on since the beginning of the year. They give good matches but I'm just starting to not really care about it because you know they're just going to keep trading the title back and forth between each other. Raw: I really think there will be a new champ at Summerslam. How because Orton is going to eliminate HHH. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Jericho has the title at Survivor Series. HHH will be face also. His heel gimmick has run its course for the time being.

A-Train is a great athelte. He delivers massive power moves that look absolutely devastating. A-Train is definetly over with the crowd. They absolutely hate him! He gets immediate heat in anything he's involved in. Now he's feuding with the Undertaker. That sounds pretty over to me. Who really cares what his past gimmicks were. He was haning out with X-Pac, big deal. So was Justin Credible but no one holds that against him. -
Val Venis has been so misused throughout his career. I find no faults with the way he wrestles and the crowd loves him. He's just gotten stuck in angles that really seem to kill his career. For instance the whole Kai-en-tai I'm going to "Choppy Choppy Your Pee Pee" deal. That was just such a waste of time for Val when he should have been used with talent like the Rock which could have been an interesting feud at the time. There always is a chance that he could get another chance at the IC belt and get off of Stevie Night Heat.

William Shatner was with Bret Hart for a Bret Hart/ Jeff Jarrett match on Raw. Then as the match winded down The Roadie tried getting involved and William Shatner worked him over then eventually dispatched him over the top rope. I can't believe David Arquette wasn't mentioned. Former WCW World Champion!

He needs medication. Every year is said to be the clippers year. They play really great in all they summer leagues and play great in preseason. Then comes the regular season and they play good at the beginning making everyone believe that it will be the year. Then 2 months into the season they start dealing with injuries and from then on out they go straight to the bottom. If the Clips were in the east I think they could easily get 40 wins. But they're in the west and they have to play teams like Dallas, San Antonio, Sacremento, Golden State, Denver, Minnesota, Seattle, Phoenix and Houston. The Lakers, Portland, and Utah should be east wins for LAC. Then they'll win a variety of games over random east teams. Games they won't win against east teams will be Detroit, Orlando, New Jersey, Memphis, and Chicago. If you look at Seattle's record after they acquired Ray Allen and were playing with terrible point guard Kevin Ollie. After the Ray Allen trade they went 18-12 for the rest of the season. Before the trade they were 22-30. That's a 60% winning percentage good enough to get them in the playoffs and they DIDN'T have a decent point guard. They've added Antonion Daniels to the mix who has shown that he's a winner throughout his career. I agree that Drobnjak and Radmanovic are excellent players. Potapenko has been around the league and has never showed that he's no more than a role player off the bench.

Bonds isn't going to play for a few games because of he's going to visit his father who's ailing. If the Giants lose every game while he's gone then Bonds is the MVP and I'll change my vote from Pujols to Bonds.

That's a great slogan. That should be in his sig.

I'm not a big fan of it.

French fear up to 3,000 killed in heatwave
SteakGrowsOnUecker replied to Vern Gagne's topic in Current Events
180 people a day die from heat?!?! Thats a lot of people.... France just needs to educate they're people better on how to beat the heat. I'm sure they take baths in the summer time -

You forgot JR's boy Nathan Jones, but he's worth forgetting. I'm really impressed with how good Haas and Benjamin are. Likewise with Cena. He's showed that he wants to be around the business maineventing for a long time. Orton has showed amazing improvement from when he was face last year. Brock is main eventing so it seems everything has worked out. O'Haire is still a bundle of potential. Batista was good while he wasn't injured. But he's been injured more than he's been healthy. Rosey is just now starting to take off and we might get to see if he has what it takes to do some singles stuff. Jindrak can deliever a drop kick. Thats about all I've seen from him. Constant drop kicks so I'm not impressed yet.

That movie alone raised the price of Honda Civics, which don't really even impress me all that much.
