Calgary has won the CuJo sweepstakes: http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=3196152

Oh, OK. I was reading the game story this morning, and it did sound pretty minor.
-
That's a relief. I'll probably still get to see him when I go to the game against the Heat on Feb. 9, then.
-
Do they have a screenplay for Deathly Hallows yet? I'm guessing not. I hope the writers' strike doesn't delay these movies by much.

Hippies, Frat Boys, RaYo. Sorry. With that being said, I can't say that I'm really against any one of these teams winning, although Ron and Chris do have a bit of a dickery streak in them. I hated the Hippies. Them being in the final alone ruined it for me, to say nothing of them winning the damn thing. No, just seasons 1 and 7 (the Romber season). I haven't heard any plans to put more seasons out.

Well, that's good. I'd hate to have two of our top three scorers out against a team that'll probably score a dozen goals against us. Heatley's streak ended last night against the Islanders, though.
-
If last season was a blip for Rolen offensively, I think Toronto wins this trade. The real question is going to be whether Rolen's shoulder heals enough to where he can get close to his numbers from before 2005. I'd even take his 2006 numbers.

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THEY'RE GONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNE!! This is going to be the best final 3 ever.
-
Nah, he's probably glad he doesn't have to choose between his two mancrushes next week.
-
So, how about that Pats/Packers Super Bowl?
-
Are you kidding? If they throw, and throw incompletions, Dallas probably gets another possession out of this. Run the ball and run the other team out of time.
-
Looks like BS.
-
How could such a terrific announcer spawn such an awful one?
-
As a Denver fan, I'm going to enjoy the shitkicking the Chargers are going to have laid on them next week. New England owns San Diego as much as San Diego apparently owns Indy.
-
If not Kovalev, then probably Malkin.
-
Gates will start today for the Chargers. That should make it a bit more competitive, but it's still very difficult for me to imagine the Chargers staying with the Colts into the second half.
-
Dany Heatley is out 4-6 weeks with a separated shoulder after going shoulder-first into the boards in last night's win over Detroit. That is...not good news. The only positive spin I can put on that is that at least it stretches over the All-Star break and they won't play as many games in that time. In other news, I think the Leafs' goal differential in the third period and OT this season is up to about -120.
-
And Darthtiki is first on the board. Updated standings - January 13, 2008 (changes in red) 45 - Darthtiki

You called it: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3194113

That's too bad. I'd love to see him throw a touchdown pass to himself.

I'm down by one. And I think all the Canadians have already voted, so I doubt there'll be a Cinderella run like last year for me.

Everyone thinking Jacksonville will gave New England a good test makes me think Pats in a rout. I'm going with the chalk for every game.
