Late garbage TD by the Broncos seals at least a win by tiebreak for me.
-
That should be the nail in the coffin for me and thepinjockey. Jets receive the opening kickoff in OT.
-
So Jay Cutler goes out of the game with a leg injury. The backup Ramsey comes in with Denver starting a drive on their own 8. First play, he freezes, takes a sack on the 3, fumbles, and has it returned for a TD. Awesome. Oh, and Drew Brees threw for 346 in the FIRST HALF. Where the hell was he the first 6 weeks?

Normally I agree, but San Diego/Minnesota was just a giant mismatch on paper and I didn't have another really good spot to take the Chargers the rest of the year. Plus Pittsburgh plays Miami in 3 weeks at home.

Gay. Hester set that last season. Hester's was 108. Cromattie's foot was literally inches from the back line.
-
The New Orleans offence has been awesome. Jacksonville has one long pass for a TD and a kickoff return for a TD.
-
Antonio Cromartie just set an unbreakable record with a 109-yard missed FG return for San Diego on the last play of the first half.
-
Why is Norv Turner insisting on running Tomlinson? Send him out in the pattern, Minnesota has an awful pass defence.
-
The way things are going, King could win the pool outright this week.
-
Jones-Drew with a 100-yard kickoff return for Jacksonville.

I'm impressed by the aggressive play-calling by the Lions. They just went for it on 4th and 2 from the 42 and picked it up.
-
Saints with a nice onside kick after a game-opening FG.
-
I switched to San Diego from Pittsburgh at the last minute. I hope that doesn't come back to bite me in the ass. (Are you kidding? Of course it did.) This week: San Diego - 2 Washington - 2 Tampa Bay - 1

Winning 7-6 didn't do me any favours. I think I played my way out of Bored Bowl contention with that performance.

I muss confess, I didn't watch a minute of the Sens/Bs game. Too much college football on. Reading some of the accounts of the game, I'm expecting a Bruins win in the second half of the home-and-home. Thomas had a fantastic game, and the Sens probably won't get that many shots two nights in a row. It's nice for now still being the only team in the league with just a single loss so far, though.

Yeah, once or twice. If we wanted to, we could keep this thread in business on the strength of his stellar analysis alone.
-
Well, I certainly pulled this win out of my ass. Another topsy-turvy week, as it looks like 4 of the top 5 are losing again.
-
It happened Wednesday in practice. He was out for Thursday's game against the Thrashers too.
-
Well, there's part one of the miracle. Now I need Oregon and Missouri.
-
The question now is, can Notre Dame even beat Duke?
-
I'm going to need a miracle to win at this point. I thought Michigan was a lock, and it doesn't look like the Irish can stop Navy scoring in OT.
-
Good God, how awful does your kicker have to be for you to go for it in a tie game facing 4th and 8 from your opponent's 24?

Denver - 20 Tampa Bay Tennessee Buffalo Detroit Green Bay New Orleans San Diego Atlanta Washington Cleveland Oakland New England Dallas Pittsburgh

Kansas 76, Nebraska 31. This is the worst beating I've ever seen Nebraska take. Still 10 minutes left, too...Kansas could still get to 80.
