Now this is a gimmick account I can get behind.

Funny how you can find that information anywhere but on MLB's own website.

Senators had a 5-0 lead on Atlanta with about 13 minutes left, and ended up winning 6-4 on an empty-netter. That's probably the sloppiest period of hockey they've played all season.

Don't forget those tortured souls in Cleveland that don't get a late game at all. I noticed that too. Why would the Cleveland area not get the late game but every other place in America does? Because the Browns are at home on fox at 4:00. No games can air at the same time as the local team's home game on another network.

True enough. I don't know why they even have fan voting for this award in the first place, though. Can we vote for Hall of Famers too?
-
Well, that's the last time I listen to iggy on anything relating to Georgia Tech.

I was gonna say "I think you just have to show up to work to get on the ballot," but Hawk doesn't even do that. It's his second straight year, too. Which makes me think he's actually going to win one of these years, at which point the award turns into a nice doorstop or paperweight. The only thing I count on from Hawk is making me immediately change the channel.

I thought he was a replacement for Sid at the July PPV. On that note, what happened to Sid? Lost at Wrestlemania 13, and I don't recall seeing him again for two months, when he made what, one appearance on Raw, and then gone again? Softball season?

Afraid not. I'll always remember him as the villain in The Naked Gun 2 1/2.

Cleveland will also miss out.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Oh motherfucker. The only possible way I could lose this fucking game.

No, my team is In Jay We Trust. I'm pretty sure Serenity is thepinjockey.

Point taken. I never have imagined it could be this bad, though. I really can't wait for Favre's wife to visit the booth. Maybe she'll read another love poem on air like she did during the open.

Tony is completely embarrassing himself with his gigantic man-crush on Favre. I also liked how the first replay of the TD pass had to be a 10-second closeup of Favre's reaction. Yes, I'm really glad I tuned into Monday Night Favre.

Jones got two games for his hit on Bergeron. I have to think he got it based on how vicious it looked. Incidentally, Nick Foligno took a very similar hit to the one Volchenkov gave out in the very same game, and there wasn't even a penalty on this one...

I swear, ESPN is TRYING to make me vomit with all this slurping of Favre.

Phaneuf's still a RFA. Unless someone comes in with a Vanek-type offer sheet, I don't see the Flames letting him walk.

Come on, the World Series was over HOURS ago. Almost a whole DAY. Who's expected to remember anything that happened that long ago?

I'd balk at calling Cabrera a hired mercenary. He only came in because they had to get rid of Nomar.

With everything that was said about A-Rod after 2004, by Schilling and (I think) Varitek and others, I'd guess that Boston would be the least likely place for him to go out of all the possible places he could end up.

I still hate songs, but I tend not to make fun of other people's likes and dislikes when it comes to music.

Yankee ERA+ the last seven years: 2001: 111 2002: 114 2003: 109 ----A-Rod arrives---- 2004: 96 2005: 93 2006: 102 2007: 99 Clearly, A-Rod has had a debilitating effect on the pitching staff and deserves to be run out of town. If he goes to Boston, I think he'll be put at SS. But, I think he'll end up in Anaheim.
