The Arizona backers are out; five are left. God bless Vinny.

NFL Week 6: The Bills Could Not Pay Their Way To A Win

I really miss NFL Primetime. They presented a much better story for each game with the highlights. NBC shows about 15 seconds of highlights for each game and spends half an hour running crap like these stupid Keith Olbermann segments. -

Damn, Vinny should have had Steve Smith to throw to for his entire career. 15-10 Panthers as they miss the two-point convert. -

That's one of the greatest catches I've ever seen Moss make, and that's saying an awful lot. -

Yeah. That was a Barry Sanders-type run there. -
I've been noticing that too. The Giants were five outs away in 2002.

Could South Florida be #1? Menafee said we'd be surprised at who was at the top of the rankings. EDIT: Guess not; top 5 are as Bored said they would be.

Vikings win with a 55-yard FG. Career long for Ryan Longwell. -

Wow, Griese with the 81-yard TD pass to Hester (who else?) to tie it against Minnesota. -
I'm safe for another week. Next week is going to be scary, though.

2nd and 1 from the 4, and Jets walk away with no points. Incredible. -
Seriously, read the prologue of "Fair Ball" and tell me you don't want to slug Bob Costas. Can you summarize that for those of us who lack access (and/or desire) to a copy? Here's the excerpt in question: http://www.randomhouse.com/features/bobcostas/excerpt.html

South Florida is ranked #2 in the last AP poll. LSU dropped to 5th. Link Shouldn't the BCS standings have been released by now?

I picked the Ravens because they're undefeated at home, and the Rams are quite an awful team. And I still don't trust the Chargers, who have defined inconsistent this season.

Here's a shock -- Devin Hester returned a punt for a touchdown. I know, I was amazed too. -
Interesting, interesting...I thought a lot more people would be on Baltimore than just me: San Diego - 3 Arizona - 2 Baltimore - 1 Philadelphia - 1

I haven't been this disinterested in a week of games in a while. Denver's not playing, and there just aren't any really compelling matchups besides the obvious one. -
Bret's book is prominently advertised in my local Chapters, which is pretty unheard of for a wrestling book.

When this year's World Series is once again the lowest-rated in history, I hope people will look past the fact that Colorado or Arizona was in it and instead look at the fact that a lot of people don't want to start watching a game they almost certainly won't finish watching.

I think we've already set a record for most times tiebreak #2 has decided a game in a season.

This is ridiculous, no way is this game over before midnight. This is why I hate the postseason as presented by the current television partners. There is absolutely no reason why the games can't start at 7:00 or 7:30.
