Whew. Nearly ten hours worth of baseball in just over a 24-hour span at Yankee Stadium.

I couldn't believe they waved him home. The play at the plate was a lot closer than I figured it would be.

Well, Josh Towers is in for the Jays, which is the equivalent to John Gibbons waving the white flag. This has been an incredible series to watch so far. To think, this game was 3-2 after 5 innings, and now it's 11-11 heading to the bottom of the 9th.

The Jays/Yankees game has turned into a contest to see who has the worse bullpen.

Win or lose, this is shaping up to be the worst week I've ever had in the history of this contest.

Nebraska was a few feet away from what would probably have been their worst home loss ever. Ball State's game winning FG try went wide left, Huskers escape 41-40.

Ball State now up 9 on Nebraska early in the 4th.

And Brohm gets picked off. Up 3 scores, with 7 minutes left, that should ice it for Syracuse. First win of the season!

That's the truest sign that you have an awful defence -- Syracuse is putting up points on you.

But Sabathia has several more quality starts. Is it his fault his team scores fewer runs for him than Beckett's team does for him?

If the writers look at the right stats, this could be one of the closest Cy Young races ever. Beckett and Sabathia are pretty much even across the board. But they'll look at Beckett's 20 wins and give it to him for sure.

It should have been Halladay's win, but I'll take it anyway.

It was Vince. They did a bit where Debra said she wanted to get back into managing, and Vince surprised her by telling her she was Rock's new manager.

I don't think I've ever seen a pitcher swear as much as Roy Halladay coming out of tonight's game against the Yankees. Had the complete game win in the bag and had an error behind him put the tying run on base. He was beyond pissed.

I did pick Miami, but changed my mind about an hour before I submitted my picks. Such a trap game.
