Yeah, I mentioned everyone who had Yeltsin back when he died.

The one good thing about the Jays game not being anywhere on local TV (thanks to the Memorial Cup PREVIEW SHOW?!?) is that I get to listen to Harry Kalas. He's probably my favourite announcer anywhere besides Vin Scully. Too bad it means I'm also stuck with Gary Matthews, Sr.

You were saying?

Damn, I had replaced Hamilton with Pence on my fantasy team, but changed my mind at the last minute.

Sabres played like shit for the last half of the game. The Sens got two goals late in the second, and had numerous chances in the third. The Sabres still aren't playing well enough to win this series. Ottawa closes it out in 5 (for symmetry).

WHOOOOOO! And suddenly, everyone comes alive. Nice to get some production from the other lines, especially Schaefer finally getting a goal in the playoffs.
-
I should have known. Ottawa was overdue for a bad game in the playoffs. But, I look at what happened last year, and I'm still quite confident.

Uh...Austin/Hart and Austin/Harts are the same feud, no?

5 Greatest Intercontinental Title Matches
CanadianChris replied to humanoid92's topic in General Wrestling
My 5 favourite matches are thusly: 1. Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat, WrestleMania III 2. Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog, Summerslam 92 3. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho, Royal Rumble 01 4. Bret Hart vs. Roddy Piper, WrestleMania VIII 5. Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Jarrett, In Your House 2 One I would add under historical significance would be the Savage/HTM match from October 1987. The first meeting of the Megapowers, and Savage's official face turn. A pretty decent little match, too. I don't know of many people who think Warrior/Rude I was any good. However, Warrior/Rude II, from Summerslam 89, was surprisingly good. -
Nope, nobody had Falwell. Maybe everyone thought he'd hang around just to spite everyone, like what Fred Phelps does every day he's still alive. And yes, you missed the deadline by a mere 135 days.

Wow. I was dead certain someone did, but it doesn't look like it. I'll have to check my master sheet when I get home, though.

There's one very important detail that needs to be taken care of before tomorrow night's game... Someone needs to make sure Alfredsson knows not to touch the Prince of Wales Trophy when it's presented to him. Just skate away, Alfie.

Anyone else having problems with Yahoo? Every time I try to make a roster move, a screen comes up saying the yahoo.com domain name is for sale.

My voice is gone. My ears are still ringing. My knees are sore from squishing myself into a 300-level seat. My God, was it ever worth it. Five more.

In the "WTF?!?" department: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2869747 I seriously don't get how they think moving the start of the World Series is going to get more people to watch it. Here's a thought -- try scheduling the games so most of them end before midnight!

Interleague ALREADY? It seems to get earlier and earlier every year.

I've gotten scores in the millions in Burgertime before on other platforms, so that's certainly possible.

They're reviewing everything. Anything not super-obvious is going to cause a delay.
-
Which ones?

Don't look at me. I know it's a seven-game series.

Oh, isn't overtime fun.

Whoooooooo! They may still not win, but way to keep yourselves in the game, boys.
