Boo Weekley is about to win the Heritage and that awful plaid jacket. Good for him to come back and win so soon after missing that putt at the Honda Classic.

Anything that anyone says at this point is sheer speculation, because the Jays don't even know what the problem is. He's going to see Dr. Andrews in Birmingham today, though, which is never a good sign.

The Amazing Race: All-Star Edition

If I ran across Mirna on the street or somewhere, I think I would hit her. Or at least cuss her out. She completely interferes with my enjoyment of my favourite show. -
They were just saying that Konerko was up. I'm amazed they took a second away from slurping Erstad to do it, even though they sound like complete homer tools for announcing a player as "Paulie."

I wonder how many runners didn't make it to Boston because of the airports. That has to be a pisser, since you have to qualify to be able to run Boston.
-
I failed to meet the minimum innings requirement this week, thanks to poor starts and rainouts. Thanks, minimum innings requirement!

Colby Armstrong had better watch his back from here on out.
-
If he blew out his elbow, kiss the season goodbye.

Sadly, I was too slow to pick up Jason Frasor. Even more sadly, I nearly picked him up Friday, but decided against it.

I'm finding myself missing the Boston channels on my former cable system (currently, I get the Detroit channels), just because I have a perverse desire to watch the Boston Marathon possibly be run in the snow tomorrow.
-
I doubt it. They would've canned him last year if they were thinking about it.
-
Good example right there of why the A's don't bunt much.
-
With that defensive system, he definitely is. Bang on. There's a reason he was drafted first overall.

Every one of the top four seeds in the East lost home ice advantage.

It has to be Manuel. Any other team that's really bad is on a new (or newish) manager.
-
Some observations: - Loudest crowd I've ever seen at Scotiabank Place. - Sens dominated the play in the first two periods for the most part, but they were bad on the power play and on their odd-man rushes. Not having a 2 or 3 goal cushion in the third, as they should have, turned out to be decisive. - Armstrong should be suspended. All he does is run goalies. He didn't even try to let up, just barreled right into Emery and bowled him over into the net. That kind of goalie interference should be a major penalty. - I really can't stand the fanbase in this town. Listening to the postgame show, it was disgusting how many fans said the Sens had just lost the series. I mean, WTF is that? You lose one game and all of a sudden it's all over? Game 1 didn't happen now? Give me a fucking break.
-
Yeah, it won a name-the-team contest.
-
I can try and get raza to cheer for the Sens, if that'd help. I'd be betting on Pittsburgh tomorrow, because I'll be at the game, and I've never seen a home team win a playoff game when I've been in attendance.

Interesting. Not a name they plucked from nowhere, then.
-
I don't see Vancouver coming back in this game. They have to still be exhausted from Wednesday night, and playing only three lines is just going to make that worse.
-
And you just know Victorino is going to be blamed and benched for another couple of games, like he was last week when he was caught stealing third.
-
The Iron Pigs? That's...different.

San Diego would be the city in which I would most want to live, if I could move to the United States tomorrow. So, yeah, San Diego sounds good. Seattle would be another place I'd consider.

Amen, sister.

What a win! The Tigers' infield defence costs them another game, with two bunt singles in the tenth leading to a Rios game-winning SF. Halladay picks up the second 10-inning win of his career.
