I thought the Michigan-Duke game was an ACC-Big 10 Challenge game, but it's not. Weird that Michigan would schedule an OOC opponent that they could potentially face in a preseason tournament.
-
Well, the single point got the Sens out of last place in the East. Baby steps, people.

Sucks for iggy, he would've been on GT for sure. Are they ever laying the boots to Tha U.

Denver - 2 Pittsburgh - 2 I switched off Denver to take the Steelers. I also didn't like their remaining schedule, with the only good remaining game for them a potentially meaningless week 17 contest against the Browns. Denver still has the Chiefs at home in 2 weeks.

I switched at the last minute. Always a horrible sign for me.

Not me...I just can't seem to get into this season for whatever reason, and not just because my team sucks. Whether it's my rekindled love for basketball or what, I have very little interest in the league this year.
-
The BCS rules account for this. A conference can send three teams if they have the top 2 teams in the BCS and neither of them are the conference champion.

Mike Mussina is retiring, 30 wins short of 300, according to ESPN.com. Hall of Famer or no? I'd say he gets in, but has to wait a few years before finally being inducted.

You are wise. Junior high kids are the purest form of evil. Basically, be prepared, don't forget your sense of humour, and don't try to be their friend. -
I am taking the mighty Steelers.

Bill Simmons was at the exact spot you're in around your age. It's all about carving out your own niche. -
You're crazy. The Broncos have those same two should-wins, both at home. The Chargers pretty much have to go 4-1 to even make the Broncos game meaningful, and that's not happening. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose in KC, tbh.

AFC: 1. Tennessee - They should have this wrapped up by the time December starts. 2. Pittsburgh - Best of a pretty mediocre bunch after the Titans. I can see them getting a bye at 10-6, even. 3. Miami - Fantastic schedule down the stretch should win them the East. 4. Denver - They have a two game lead in the division, and they have KC and Oakland at home. No way does San Diego catch up enough to make the season finale meaningful. 5. Indianapolis - I can see them going to the Super Bowl, honestly. They're much improved over their shaky start. 6. NY Jets - They have a one-game lead right now, and that will turn out to be the difference in the end. NFC: 1. NY Giants - Your Super Bowl XLIII champions. 2. Tampa Bay - Easier remaining schedule than the Panthers, plus I think they win in Charlotte in three weeks to take the tiebreaker. 3. Arizona - Should squash their remaining divisional opponents, but there's only two of them left, plus they have to travel east twice. 4. Green Bay - Whatever, this division blows. They've got four winnable games left aside from their rematch with the Bears. They'll get in at 9-7. 5. Carolina - Should beat Green Bay and then get crushed by the Giants in the divisional round. 6. Dallas - It'll be either the Redskins or Cowboys in this spot. When it comes down to it, I think Dallas is just a better team than Washington.

What is wrong with Trent Edwards? This is the worst I've ever seen him play.

Civil case only; he probably isn't going to face criminal charges.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

I was wondering that myself. They must have changed the rule at some point.

I cannot believe the Apple Cup isn't on this week's slate.

Me too. I've won a lot of tight ones this year. Me too...my margins of victory this season: 7 21 3 3 9 2 10 4 4 1 9 And the two 9s were both close very late in the game (Dallas over Cincy and this week). Week 2 (Cards over Dolphins) and week 7 (Bucs over Seahawks) were the only ones where I felt comfortable the entire fourth quarter.
