Orton has no timing whatsoever, in anything he does. -

Why is Lawaler acting like he's NEVER seen a 5-on-1 handicap match, when he just saw one last month? -

I'd believe this a lot more if Cena's name weren't still on the belt. -
No, he had two things. "I'm Asian" and "I can talk like an Asian". Thank goodness for poker giving us some higher-profile Asians: Not to mention... All you can eat, bay-bee!

I agree with the main point of the article. For an athlete to succeed, he needs to have the focus and the mental toughness to be able to embrace the Big Moment, rather than be swallowed up by it. That's how to best sum up "It." That's the thing A-Rod seems to lack. He does seem to try too hard and get consumed with every little thing that's going on around him. Off-topic, what was with Sherman claiming Elway "shed uncomfortable labels along the way"? Surely he didn't think Elway lost because he didn't have "It," not when he led The Drive and was woefully outclassed in those three Super Bowl losses.

I called that before Miami even made the Finals. Everyone was slobbering all over them for beating the Pistons, without realizing they didn't really beat THE PISTONS. They haven't truly been tested all playoffs, and the one time they were faced with anything close to a test (the Bulls), they struggled. I think now that Dallas wins in no more than five.
-
There won't be a sweep. At least, we'll need to see how Miami does at home in Game 3 before talking about one. I'm sticking with Dallas in 6.

There's no way to test for HGH, though. I'd be shocked if there wasn't an HGH problem in the NFL.

Morten Andersen breaks Vikings fans' hearts At least they're used to it. Also, an awesome montage of highlights from the Dolphins/Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game in the snow, forever to be known as the Leon Lett game.

Hats off to Nadal for a great win. Federer didn't look like he was having a good day, and you're just not going to beat Nadal on clay without your best tennis, no matter who you are. 60 straight wins on clay is just an amazing feat. I was shocked in how quickly the match turned. Nadal just flicked a switch or something in the second set, and Federer wasn't able to respond until it was too late, which amazed me.

Possibly, but highly statistically unlikely.

Good win for the Oilers. Hopefully they've got some of that emotion left for Monday night.

For those of you in Canada, Nikki Payne is on Comedy Now! on CTV tonight. 10pm in whatever time zone you're in. She's not bad.

If they call this goal back, there's going to be a riot at Rexall Place.

So Ted Lilly has his best outing of the year, going 8 2/3 innings, striking out 12 Tigers and allowing only three hits. Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 hits were a 3-run homer and a 2-run homer, and the Jays lost, 5-3.

Not really, especially if your budget is tight. We got several cash gifts of $50-$75 when we got married.

Just pointing out the inanity of holding up individual at-bats as proof of clutchness/non-clutchness.
-
Oh, that Jeter, he's SO clutch.

It was a balk; they missed it.

You think the Yankees are cheering in the dugout whenever they see Brad Halsey come into the game?
-
Tie after regulation.
-
Red card! T&T's going to have to be looking for a tie now, being a man down.
-
Brad Halsey is pitching. Brad Halsey. That reminds me, I need to drop Halsey from my fantasy team. At least I haven't played him in the last month.

I suppose I can't complain, with the Jays' comeback tonight, but I cannot believe the Yankees are coming back on the A's right now.
