This Steelers/Ravens game is gonna end in a tie, I can see it.
-
It would be 6-5 Pittsburgh. Pitt and USF would both be 2-1 against co-champions, while Pitt would have the head-to-head tiebreaker with USF for beating them. Just think Pittsburgh could be the worst team ever to go to a BCS game........ two years in a row! Well, at least I think that's the case. If the Big East tiebreaking procedure isn't that complicated, then the Sugar Bowl would just get to take their pick. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, it's a bit more complicated than that. If none of the teams that are tied has swept the rest of the teams, the bid goes to whoever is ranked higher in the BCS. If neither team is ranked, THEN it goes to head-to-head ranking. But, since both teams would presumably be unranked in the BCS, yes, Pitt would get the automatic bid.

Today's action: $20 on Panthers -2.5 -120 over Bears $20 on Panthers -1 -115 over Bears (1st half) $44 on Jaguars -4 over Titans And a prop bet I thought had some value... $20 on both KC and Houston making a FG of 33 yds or more (+150)

With all the talk in yesterday's college football thread, I thought one of these would be fun. Today (Nov. 13) I have: $22 on Broncos -3 $44 on Alouettes (CFL) -4.5

They just showed the overhead replay of the final play from OU/Tech. The guy was nowhere near in when he was down.

Kurt Angle's picture looks a lot like Kane's.

The current BCS has them at 17, which is based on a miniscule computer rating (.080 of Texas' total) and two middling poll ratings (16th in each, .350 and .359 of max votes). A move to about 10th in the polls would boost their two poll totals to about .600 each. Their computer rankings would be the biggest move, as they've got about squat there right now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tenth sounds about right. If USC loses, I see the polls going this way: 1. Texas 2. LSU 3. Penn State 4. USC 5. Notre Dame 6. Virginia Tech 7. Ohio State 8. Oregon 9. Auburn 10. Fresno State I can see them going to ninth, ahead of Auburn (and even that's a reach), but certainly no higher. The compter rankings will be really interesting to see.

I can't see how they can call this a fumble. They blew the play dead before the Bulldog player picked the ball up. I think the only thing they can review is whether it was an incompletion. And now they were never looking at it in the first place.
-
Damn, I thought it was going to be a lot closer than that.
-
No, only a top-6 guarantees a bid. I just looked it up; I thought top 12 guaranteed it as well. They could be awfully close to the top-6 though. If they beat USC, they're going to shoot up the polls, and probably the computers.
-
Fresno State and Notre Dame will be the likely at-large BCS teams if this upset goes down.
-
Touchdown Fresno State. About to be 21-10 FSU.
-
I don't think USC drops enough to fall to third. It would probably get Fresno State into a BCS bowl, though, pissing off a whole bunch of people.
-
Now that this is over...Fresno State is about to take the lead over USC early in the second. I know we've seen this before, but Fresno State is talented enough that they could take USC to the last play.
-
Wow. What does that mean for the ACC title picture?

I attended what was probably the most boring hockey game I've ever been at tonight. Even in today's NHL, the Devils can lure a crowd right to sleep. The Sens made it out with a win despite the refs trying their damndest to hand the game to the Devils on a platter in the third.

All I needed was ONE GOAL in the third period to at least push my Leafs/Thrashers over 7 bet. I hate the Leafs.
-
5-1 Leafs after 2, needed only one more goal in the entire 3rd period for at least a push...no dice. Oh well, I won the big boy today when I didn't think I would. I have nothing to complain about.

BIG ATLANTIC TITLE GAME, BABY!!! Dare I say #2 ranked...or even #1??? Nah, not #1...

Discuss them here. My favourite moment would have to be Eddy defending the WWE title at WMXX, then celebrating with Benoit after he won the World Heavyweight title to close the show. Pegasus Kid and Black Tiger, on top of the world. Good times.

Shocking that a Norman radio station would be saying that. I'm in stunned disbelief.
-
Let's go Cal!! (And Kansas State and/or Clemson.)
-
Oh, and I was an idiot for picking OK State over Baylor. I don't know what the hell I was thinking.
-
I need one more score by either team here to claim the tiebreaker in Bored's contest.

They just showed the last play during the OSU/Michigan game. I thought he was short, but I wasn't looking at where the ball was when he went down. Oh, and there's no way OU enters the top 25 coming off a loss. I doubt the coaches are going to see an asterisk saying "OU was screwed" when they review the scores tonight and tomorrow.
