Chris Noth is going to be the reason my wife stops watching CI. She loves the d'Onofrio character, and thinks the Noth character isn't bright enough to fit the premise of the show.

Two things: - Chicago HAS TO win their game vs. the Twins. Has to. They lose, and the lead over the Yankees and Red Sox is only two games. I don't think they can hold a two-game lead at this point. - If Cleveland misses the playoffs, they can point to this game as the reason why. They get out to a 3-0 lead over the worst team in the majors and can't hold it in a crucial late-season game? That's bad.

Indians tie it up in the 9th, but KC has the winning run at 2nd with one out. EDIT: KC wins it 5-4.

Rodney Harrison is down and looks to be in bad shape. They're carting him off the field on the little tractor.

I hate the fucking Rams.

Cleveland just coughed up a three run lead over the Royals.

What the hell is up with the Colts offense? They should have put up 30 points on the Browns without breaking a sweat.

If they run the table then they will remain #2 and recieve the bid to play in the National Title game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's not a given either, with how well Virginia Tech is playing. If they go undefeated, I can't see how you would take Texas over them, given Va Tech is in the ACC and Texas is in a down Big XII.

Does that make him as good as Joey Harrington?

What else can go wrong for the Packers? Longwell just missed an extra point, 7-6 Tampa Bay.

Once again, St. Louis is going to screw me over. Tennessee looks like they're going to go up two scores on the Rams.

Fourth time in history, and first time in 12 years (Toronto, 1991-92; Colorado, 1993) That was a surprising stat to me. Did they add seats to Yankee Stadium this season? How have the Yankees never passed 4 million in attendance before? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mostly it is the uncertaincy of the season creating exciting drama, as well as the threat of Yankee Stadium closing shop that encourages fans to attend while they can. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dont forget that $1 seats had a lot to do with drawing that many fans. Imagine going to a pro sporting event and only having to pay a dollar for a seat. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's not unheard of, but it doesn't necessarily draw fans -- Toronto tried that a few years ago and it didn't work very well. Those were almost certainly for the worst seats in the place. Am I going to pay a dollar and spend three hours at a baseball game where I can barely see what's going on? Probably not.

Flightplan - 7/10 Better than I expected, given all the bad reviews.

Yeah baby...top 5, here we come.

At this rate, the Big East SHOULD lose their automatic bid. When you look at it, there are only two historically good football programs anyway -- Syracuse and Pitt. (West Virginia might be a third, but certainly not on the level of the other two.) This is not a strong conference for football anymore; the conference was built to be a basketball stronghold after all the defections in the last two years. As much as I hate to say it, the Big East needs to lose its automatic bid so a more deserving team has a better chance at a BCS game.

It's mostly to do with the fact they were playing in a football stadium.

Payments have to be 30 days late before they show up as a black mark on your credit report. They track payments that are 30 days overdue, 60 days overdue, and 90 or more days overdue. Incidentally, getting a copy of your credit report and credit score annually is a very wise idea.

Wow. Where was this Miguel Batista all season? Thaaaaaaaa Yankees lose.
-
It's only preseason, but Dominik Hasek playing 34 minutes of shutout hockey against the Penguins last night was definitely encouraging.
