He really should be made to change his name.

Will The Pepsi Plunge Be Seen On WWE TV?

I think that's the closest to the truth anyone's gotten so far. -
That's actually true. Obviously, they had a much better crowd at Summerslam, but the Survivor Series match was excellent, better than the Iron Man match at WMXII.

From left to right: Sting, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Nikita Koloff and Ted DiBiase, from some ministry conference in June. The Hammer looks like he hasn't aged a day in the last 20 years.

Easily Hogan/Andre. I don't think anything else comes close.

It's not like they're ultra-stupendous spoilers anyway.

So where are the Saints going to play? I can't imagine anyone would feel too safe in the Superdome; plus, the city is going to be uninhabitable for a while.

Hey, look...Kerry Wood's out for the season. Must be the end of August.

Just to keep the thread moving...the Penguins signed Dick Tarnstrom to a one-year deal.

Any DVD on Vader HAS to include both the White Castle of Fear and Masters of the Powerbomb mini-movies.

I hope you have a big Weekend Box Office Report

The penguins are adorable and lovable. Honestly, ask yourself, who hates a penguin? No one with a soul, I would say. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> -
Useless fact: Today marks the latest a division leader has been below .500 during the course of a season in MLB history, that being the Padres. The old mark was August 12, 1994, when Texas led the AL West by a game, despite being 10 games under .500, on the day the '94 season was halted.
-
All their main resources are busy getting their stories ready for the 4th anniversary of 9/11. This is what's left.
-
I had always thought that it would be impossible to win a division with a sub-.500 record under the unbalanced schedule, but the Padres are proving me wrong. I'm betting everyone in that division plays .500 against each other from here on out, and the Padres win the division with 79 wins.
-
No, it was always set for that date...I may need to move it back another week, as I may be heading down to Toronto that weekend.
-
They would only need to push the AL playoffs back a day. That in itself wouldn't need to be that big a deal either, because there's always one series that starts on the Wednesday anyway. Unless, of course, the unthinkable happens and there's a three-way tie in BOTH leagues. Even then, a one-day delay wouldn't be too bad.

Your favorite top 5 Steve Austin matches
CanadianChris replied to JN News's topic in General Wrestling
1. 10-man tag, Canadian Stampede 2. vs. Bret Hart, WM13 3. vs. Dude Love, Over the Edge 98 4. w/Triple H vs. Chris Benoit/Chris Jericho, RAW, May 2001 5. vs. Ricky Steamboat, Bash at the Beach 94 Amazingly, I've never seen the SS96 match with Bret. Also never seen the Blonds/Horsemen 2/3 falls match. -
Damn, that really sucks. I can only do an hour or two of it if it's kept at 9pm, then.
-
Still restricted. He'll be a year too young and with one too few seasons in the league for UFA.
-
Depends on whether Mathieu Garon works out for them or not.

There's been a 2GOLD signting in the Jericho thread in the TNA folder.

Why do you think that? Belfour is still a great goalie who is capable of putting on a Vezina performance. Despite some nagging injuries, he still plays full seasons and is in excellent condition for his age. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The club has a buyout option at the end of this season, and they'd be nuts to keep going with Belfour, who certainly doesn't have more than three seasons left in the tank, rather than thinking long-term and grabbing one of the three best young goalies in the league (Turco and Theodore being the others).
