Rex Grossman breaks ankle, out 3-4 months Is anything going to go right for the Bears ever again? Seriously?
-
Obviously, he decided that any review of the movie would just be a pointless waste of newsprint, and decided to write something far more entertaining. Can't say as I blame him.
-
My dad is probably doing cartwheels right now. He hates how the networks show Tiger all the time even when he's 15 shots back, or finished his round 3 hours before.
-
Christian gets buried anytime he's anywhere near Batista. No surprise there.
-
Still more signings: - Miikka Kiprusoff signed a 3-year deal with Calgary. - L.A. signed Valeri Bure. - The Canadiens re-signed Mike Ribeiro. - Vincent Lecavalier and the Lightning have agreed to the framework for a one-year deal, but are still trying to hammer out something longer.
-
THe Tabloids have been saying that Dick Clark has been knocking on deaths door for months now, so it won't be too long. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eh, they were saying that about Bob Hope for around five years before he actually died. I wouldn't hold out hope.

That was on my list, too...I checked, and apparently Season 1 is out November 8.
-
I'll second Animaniacs. The reason the Star Treks are so outrageous is because they know they have a large hardcore fanbase that will buy them at just about any price.
-
Tiger no drive straight. Tiger hit from rough always. Phil mostly in fairway. Phil had a double-bogey on 1 this morning, too...take that off his card and he's at -10 and running away with it.

I was waiting for Quick Change, but found out it's being released August 30. That's about the only movie I'm waiting for. TV shows: Law and Order: Criminal Intent Season 2 90210 Benson Newhart WKRP in Cincinnati Head of the Class China Beach

I wouldn't put it past them. Carl Lindros is a legendary scumbag. In actual hockey news, the Senators resigned backup G Ray Emery.
-
MLB.com has a clip of it. Sickening.

Why is it they became the Orange? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because some people thought they were referring to Native Americans by the term "Orangemen", when in fact Orangemen refers to Protestants in Ireland, who might have had a hand in founding the school... People down here are fucking livid at this. FSU has hired a lawyer and even gotten the governor on their side. This will be a war. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought it was so they could be gender-neutral <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's the official, on-the-record reason. They wanted to brand all their sports teams, men's and women's, the same way.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

The Chiefs released him a couple of months ago. He hasn't caught on anywhere else. I've seen stories up here that he might go play for Toronto in the CFL.
-
Now that Thornton resigned with Boston, Marian Hossa and Curtis Joseph are probably the biggest names left on the market. EDIT: Scratch that, Hossa filed for arbitration. Jose Theodore remains unsigned, too, though.
-
I'm actually optimistic that they can break this trend this weekend against Baltimore. Who knows, maybe they'll still be in it by the time Halladay gets back.
-
He'll be a great coach somewhere.

There's a three-hitter going through 6 1/2 innings in Toronto. That's three hits for the Tigers and Blue Jays COMBINED. Jays lead 2-0 on a two-run homer in the first.

Lots of recent signings: - Sens re-signed Martin Havlat to a one-year contract and Mike Fisher to a three-year deal. - Flames re-signed Andrew Ference. - Canucks re-signed both Sedin twins. - Dan Cloutier will be accepting his qualifying offer by Vancouver. - Robert Esche agreed to terms with Philadelphia. - Sergei Samsonov and P.J. Axelsson re-signed with Boston. - Wade Belak and Aki Berg are returning to the Leafs. - Jan Hrdina signed a one-year deal with Columbus. Also, Roman Turek retired, and Eric Lindros appears close to heading to Toronto.

Who would you put in your Hall of Fame?
CanadianChris replied to zyn081's topic in General Wrestling
I agree with everyone on this list except for Race and Koloff. I would also add Fabulous Moolah, Roddy Piper and Superstar Billy Graham. -
Penguins just traded for Jocelyn Thibault.

They'll probably say Bischoff redid the contract, since he's gone full-blown heel lately anyway. It would make sense in the context of Bischoff messing with Cena.
