Weird...I just heard about this on Sportsnet, of all places. Apparently the judge was the one who presided over NHLer Dany Heatley's vehicular manslaughter trial.

Georgia Tech 73-54 Virginia Tech. GT is in, VT is likely out.
-
Looks like Indiana played themselves off the bubble. Minnesota is just pasting them right now.
-
Dude, it's a two-point game. Yeah I know but I want VT to win so badly. I wish they'd extend it! Do something! Embarass them! What's with the GT hate?

Dude, it's a two-point game.

I marked out for the ending of the final Newhart.

Clemson had it, but couldn't hang on. Heels survive.

Too bad they didn't get the one of Pageant Girl at the pit stop...

McLean Stevenson decided to kill his career by leaving M*A*S*H and starring in a Diff'rent Strokes spinoff called Hello, Larry. Almost forgot my favourite (just because of the title): Beverly Hills Buntz, a spinoff of Hill Street Blues with Dennis Franz.

Just testing something... useless moron useless moron Scott Keith EDIT:

My God, Carolina is LOSING to CLEMSON?? I mean, I don't see them losing their #1 over it if they do lose, but damn...that's not a good last impression to leave the committee with.

You're kidding, right? Aside from the wins vs. Cincinnati and Florida (and those are kind of debatable), I can't see one one other win that Louisville has that could be considered a "marquee" win. Stanford certainly wouldn't qualify this year. The only really big game they had on the schedule, the Kentucky game, they lost. No, Louisville is a strong 2, but they're not moving from there. I would consider Arizona before Louisville for a #1 seed.

Three "Laverne and Shirley" "Mork and Mindy" "Joanie Loves Chachi" And since HD spun off from "Love American Style", that makes all the above shows second gen spinoffs Plus, CMW mentioned "Out of the Blue" at the top of the thread, so that's four.
-
How many spinoffs of Happy Days were there, anyway? 4? 5? Models Inc. (from Melrose Place) was a particularly bad one I remember. I also remember a really short-lived one called Billy based on the Scottish guy that replaced Howard Hesseman's character on Head of the Class.

KingPK said he's doing one.

Texas A&M and Miami both lost tonight in the first round of their respective conference tournaments. Miami is definitely off the bubble now, and A&M is probably off as well. UCLA also lost, but is likely safe.
-
Notre Dame has virtually no shot at the tournament now. Even if Nevada, Pacific and Utah all win their conference tournaments (which may be a stretch), there are just too many more deserving teams ahead of them.
-
The Clemson-Maryland game put both teams into the NIT. Clemson just guaranteed themselves a winning record (now 16-14). Oh, and Utah is struggling with 11-16 Colorado State...down one at halftime. The bubble teams sweat even more.
-
That's reasonable. Just because they're a #1 seed doesn't necessarily mean they're one of the top 4 teams in the tournament.
-
Nobody in the Big East will get the last 1 seed, because none of them have been consistently good throughout the season. BC is the only one that even has a shot, but they went 4-3 in their last 7 games. If they don't win (and I seriously doubt they will), you're looking at a 6-loss team getting a #1 seed, and that just doesn't work. The last #1 will go to Kentucky, Duke or Kansas. I would pick UK over the other two simply based on their finish...UK went 8-2 over their last 10, as opposed to Duke (6-4 with 2 questionable losses) and Kansas (6-4 with two VERY questionable losses).
-
They're in the NCAA tournament already, they're not one of the big favourites to win it all, and they can't really improve or ruin their seeding much, if any, by how they do in the Big 10 tournament. The focus is going to be on the teams mentioned in the article (and, likely, Minnesota).

I can probably do 4, but we'll see.
