Jesus Christ, Manning has over 350 yards passing in the FIRST HALF PLUS 90 SECONDS.
-
I'm going to be really interested to see if he can repeat this next year with half of the offensive line turned over.
-
Not really. The camp is so deep that they won't be missed.

For the love of God, give it up. ALL THREE TEAMS have had games where they didn't look their best. OU's D looked like shit against A&M and OSU, and they were lucky to pull out those wins. Auburn was basically handed a win by the refs against LSU, and didn't look like world beaters tonight vs Tennessee. There is virtually no difference between these three teams. USC vs. OU is the matchup because that's where they were ranked at the start of the season. If Auburn and USC were 1-2, that's who'd likely be in the Orange Bowl. If OU and Auburn were, that'd be the matchup.
-
And they score again. Now 33-16 Cal. That should look a little better to the voters tonight. EDIT: Scratch that...penalty on Cal. 26-16 final.
-
Cal scores. 26-16, 4:00 to go.

I can't see why the Rose Bowl wouldn't want Utah over Texas. They're undefeated, making a better story, and their fans travel just as well if not better. Another Peterson TD. That one was sick. Give HIM the Heisman.
-
Utah in the Rose Bowl? Count me in. Not that I need another reason to watch the Rose Bowl -- it's the only one I make sure to watch every year -- but I definitely won't be missing this game.

That hurricane was the worst thing that could've happened to Cal. They would've owned Southern Miss in September -- all the pressure's messing with them.

Considering that he has a vote, and his freaking brother has a vote, that's not as hard a task as you would think.

If insisting you're right when the evidence overwhelmingly tells you you're wrong is entertaining, then yeah, I guess he was that.

Hell, no. If we've learned anything over the years, it's that the BCS thrives on controversy. They LOVED last year's debacle, because it meant everyone was talking about college football. I believe they subscribe to the Vince McMahon school of thought regarding media coverage: "Bad publicity is better than no publicity."

In three years, we'll probably be looking at 9th year senior Jason White.
-
Agreed. Bush made one hell of a statement.
-
But, of course, all the voters have already sent in their ballots, right?
-
USC's going to Miami. Last year, no. This year...hell yes.
-
Whoops...muffed punt and UT's in business at the Auburn 14.

Score the most points.

This Indiscriminate time period in College Hoops

Considering how they looked against Indiana today, they should just worry about each game as it comes. Conference play doesn't start until January. -
Looks like Pitt's going to the Fiesta Bowl. They're picking apart South Florida, and will win the Big East by staying ranked.

That's the at-large rule. Any team with 9 wins or ranked in the top 12 can be selected as an at-large if there are open spots available after applying the top 6 rule and the top 4 rule. -
I PM my picks just about every week, and I'm 5-6.

Same as any other at-large team...except if a non-BCS school gets in, Notre Dame automatically gets in as long as they have nine wins or are ranked in the top 10. So...if ND had won all those games they were supposed to win (BYU, Pitt, etc.), we wouldn't even be talking about whether Cal or Texas would get the second spot. It'd be Utah and Notre Dame as the at-large teams. -
The richer people are, the more they go after free stuff. Take a look sometime at some of the bizarre things movie stars negotiate into their contracts. Hell, Van Halen had a clause in their contract with promoters that they had to be provided with a bowl of M&Ms before every concert, And all the brown ones had to be picked out beforehand.
