If it's the one I'm thinking of, that was Scott Goodyear again, not Tracy. He passed the pace car with seven laps to go, and Jacques Villeneuve ended up winning.

Giver that Pat F---ing Summerall is announcing the Sunday night game, I doubt anyone will be watching it. Someone was on crack when they made that hire...the SNF booth has no redeeming features whatsoever now.

I predict Tess and Tammy to get cut this week, and Sean Kent and ANT to go next week.

Caddyshack 2 needs to be mentioned. And The Mighty Ducks deserves a mention for spurring Disney to actually name their actual NHL team something that stupid.

Bumped from the grave... So much for the NHL this season. I wonder if TSN will broadcast any of the European leagues' games.

Damn, I KNEW Troy State was going to win that game, and I didn't pick it. I am GUTLESS.

Something out of the Canon Powershot series. The A60 is a very good camera, and it's on sale right now. I have an A75 myself, and I'm quite impressed with it.

That's a good one. I can't pull the name right now, but I remember the incident. I also remember then-Reds owner Marge Schott being completely classless about the whole incident. John McSherry. Happened on Opening Day 1996. Good ol' Marge whined about Opening Day for the Reds being ruined as a result: "Snow this morning and now this. I don't believe it. I feel cheated. This isn't supposed to happen to us, not in Cincinnati. This is our history, our tradition, our team. Nobody feels worse than me." (from baseballlibrary.com)

Yeah...about as fitting as seeing Marty Brodeur put the boots to a team in the ACC.

I'd put that Colombian soccer player who got murdered after scoring an own goal in the 1994 World Cup pretty high. The Drazen Petrovic crash is another one I don't see here that I would put on such a list.

That was scary, how dominating Canada looked in the second half of that game. It looked effortless. The Lemieux-Sakic-Iginla line was fearsome. No team currently in the tournament has a goaltender that can take out that lineup.

Colin's a psycho. And that he thought Christie should have been behind him 100% -- and berating her when she wasn't -- is scary. Christie was completely right when she told him to just pay the hundred bucks and get his ass on the plane.

Yeah, I'm ancient and everyone now knows it. So... Post your "old" jokes here. Best one goes in my sig.

The Undertaker vs John Bradhaw Layfield

Taker/Yoko. Royal Rumble 94. Beat that. -
Very good. He's leading the Player of the Year standings right now, I believe. And he's CANADIAN (shout out!) to boot.

We have a winner! Honourable mentions to Dr. Tom, Max, RHTITE and Vitamin X. My fiancee and I had a really good laugh at all of these, though. I'd start an "I got married today" thread on Saturday, but I don't think I'm going to have time...

I'd be surprised to see it on there, but either Agassi winning Wimbledon in '92 or Agassi winning the career Grand Slam should be here somewhere.

Definitely. I was amazed when he made this year's final table. I think the only thing that comes close would be Chan finishing 1-1-2 from 1987-1989. I could see it happening. If they hold the opening rounds at the Rio, they could easily hold that many.
