Yes, and amazingly it was his first one.

That was 1993. They won 13 seats in 2000. There were 29 seats where the combined Conservative/Alliance vote would have defeated the eventual winner. In addition, the combined PC/Alliance vote in 2000 was very close to the total Liberal vote.

I wasn't. Kiprusoff and Luongo both had better seasons, and Kipper proved his case further by going to Game 7 of the Cup finals. This was a makeup vote for years when he should've won but didn't.

Tony Randall was already the third.

Scotland could eventually go that route. The process has already begun, with the establishment of a Scottish parliament and devolution of powers to Edinburgh. It would be more difficult in Canada, of course, because there would be a big hole in the middle of the country, isolating the Maritimes.

There won't be a majority, and there will be another election within a year, eighteen months at the outside. And I wouldn't be surprised if there was another minority and another quick election after that. The situation now is different than in 2000, as there's only one right-wing party, rather than two fighting each other. The Liberals took quite a few seats by taking advantage of that.

Anyone can be a federal party. All you have to do is run at least 50 candidates in a federal election. As Quebec has 75 ridings, the Bloc more than meets this requirement. The Bloc follows in the parliamentary tradition of the Scottish Nationalist Party in the UK, which has been campaigning for independence for Scotland for 70 years.

Biased against rude, boorish, bullying, ignorant, useless twats? Guilty.

Because people like to look at big numbers without having to make the effort to look at what they mean.

That is one of the greatest things I've ever read.

They all seem kind of blah from that list. No "Dating 12 years/virgins" in the lot.

Unemployment. He was between jobs. His new job starts next week. -

Morons. No one will pay as much to watch something on their computer as to watch something on their TV. Do they have monkeys developing their business model or something?
-
And they expect us to believe that the fans determine who gets pushed? I'd say I was boycotting SmackDown, but I really don't care enough about it to call it that.

Good for them...not really any surprises, though. Any thoughts on Esa Tikkanen's candidacy? I put him as a marginal candidate, but one with a decent shot at getting in, thanks to being a good player on all those great Oilers teams.

This sounds like another Reagan National Airport in the making. (For those not familiar, the Washington, DC airport is shortened to "National," not "Reagan," when referencing it. Mention "Reagan" and people have no idea what you're talking about. Found this out the hard way on my first business trip there.) -
Price only started his career in 86-87, and didn't start making an impact until 87-88. Stockton, though, should be on the list. Certainly ahead of Michael Ray Richardson.

If a person had no respect for someone when he was alive, why should that change because he's dead? -
The Rodney King comment just baffles me. Why does Tom Brokaw have to retire at the end of the year? Why can't it be Jennings? I get endless more hours of amusement from Tom and his speech impediment than I do from Jennings and his bizarre ramblings. If Jennings ever gets dimensia --- it will be comedy gold. -=Mike You want him to get a home entertainment system?
-
Oh, and how the hell is MICHAEL RAY RICHARDSON at 17??? A slightly better than average player who retired after the 85-86 season? Ahead of Worthy, King, Cheeks, Drexler, DJ, etc.? That's fucked up.

Hakeem and Jordan for half the decade were still loads better than Sikma for the entire decade. And Magic and Moses need to be flipped.

Wait....when was this?! I turned the channel to UPN and Hogans there? Hogan and his daughter were on the ice around when they were taking the team photo. Lecavelier even gave him a hug.
