If you could go on any reality show.....
CanadianChris replied to Damaramu's topic in Television & Film
Amazing Race. I would so kick ass on that show, plus seeing the world in a whirlwind tour just appeals to me. Incidentally...AMAZING RACE RETURNS JULY 6!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Not Kiprusoff. He has had several bad games. He's had many good games as well...his GAA is under 2, even with the bad games. And you could say that he's the key to the Flames' success, as they're 11-1 when he gives up 2 goals or less, and only 1-6 when he doesn't. I'd definitely consider him if he has a good series.

If you could put 12 single games on one DVD

Define "unfair." There's TONS of stuff that doesn't get called in any given game. -
Yes, and Iginla carrying the Clarence Campbell trophy off the ice pretty much seals their fate. Lightning in 5. Incidentally, Andreychuk will play his first game in a Cup final on Tuesday...after 1752 regular season games, a record.

If Cassell can't go in the rest of this series, the T-Wolves have no shot. He had to come out late and couldn't go back in with his back problems.
-
I won't, as long as you don't forget that the Kings sure aren't the Lakers. Your blind Laker hate (painting all Laker fans with one brush) is getting amusing.
-
You'd put those over the Hand Of God? Just wondering.
-
Lakers don't play their best game, and still the T-Wolves still can only grab the lead once in the second half, and not at all in the 4th. At home. If Minnesota loses on Sunday, this should be a sweep.

I'm not saying that. Any team with the MVP on it has to be taken seriously. Well, except for the 95 Spurs...you just knew Hakeem was going to punk them out. They don't have an answer for Shaq, though, and KG and Kobe are going to cancel each other out, so I can't see this series going more than 6.
-
Son of a bitch. Primeau does it AGAIN. Oh well...Game 7 in Tampa Saturday night.
-
Holy God, KG just faked Webber right out of his shoes. I mean, his shoes are still down at the other end of the court.

Bitter? I thought that CanadianChris would want Philly, beacuse they beat Toronto, who beat Ottawa, who he likes. Unless he doesn't like Philly because last year they pushed Ottawa to 6 which made them possibly lose to the Devils in 7. ahh my head What, does everyone have sigs off? I think Bobby Clarke is the biggest asshole walking God's green earth, and wish him every possible unhappiness life has to offer. That extends to the team he ostensibly manages. Flames go up 2-0...looks like I'll have a rooting interest in the Cup final no matter what.

NBC has the US Open (aside from the British, the tournament I make sure to watch every year), as well as the Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup, Players Championship (the so-called fifth major) and Bay Hill Invitational, among others. They're doing all right at golf. They have two majors -- Wimbledon and the French. ESPN pretty much has the market cornered on the ATP Masters Series and the big WTA events, though. It depends on how they market it. NBC could actually give hockey a HUGE boost if they can market it successfully, and could force the NHL pooh-bahs to get their heads out of their asses. I have every reason to expect they would want to do so, given that they have no other major team sports and therefore not as diluted a focus. ABC never seemed interested in hockey, for whatever reason -- maybe due to their focus on football, college and pro, for the first half of the season -- and that was exacerbated when they got basketball. If ABC retained the hockey rights, I would've been shocked and dismayed. NBC could very well be very good for the league.

They're due about twenty years of BAD luck for Krause and Reinsdorf bungling MJ's exit as badly as he did. They're on year six, so expect them to improve around 2018.
-
Yes, yes he is.

For the love of God, I hope you were kidding. Come on, like none of you were thinking it.

Kariya had a crappy year and may still be injured. I like the other two Tampa players they picked over Lecavalier. Nash is too young, and wouldn't really be a good fit on the fourth line. Primeau's getting old, and had a horrible (albeit injury-plagued) season. (So did Lemieux, but Lemieux is a proven winner and a great guy to have in the dressing room.) And I wouldn't take Theodore over any of the three goalies that were picked. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the team as is.
