Armstrong has been the clear and deserving winner since the start of the competition. It's not even close, really.

Enter Ottawa...I could see them parting with a Havlat to pick up CuJo.
-
What a great ovation the Habs fans gave their team at the end of the game...it's nice to see fans appreciate a hard-working team, even in defeat.
-
2-0 Leafs!! That should be like money in the bank, considering how goals have been scored in this series.
-
Dream: Dick Schaap, Grantland Rice, Bob Costas, Mitch Albom Nightmare: Jim Rome, Bob Ryan, Mike Lupica, Fabulous Sports Babe

Zhamnov scores, 2-1 Flyers.

Hey, it worked for him in the last series. The calls all went the Leafs' way in Game 2 after Quinn started whining after Game 1.
-
William Christopher...I guess that makes me a mild-mannered Army chaplain. Or Grand Master Sexay's brother.
-
He's white? Next thing, you'll be telling me Reggie Cleveland was white, too.
-
Let the speculation begin as to replacements. Joel Quenneville and Larry Robinson would have to top my list. I wonder if Scotty Bowman can be coaxed out of retirement, even with his possible health problems...

That's an insult to the drizzling shits.

Hart Trophy Martin St. Louis (TB) - I can't see how the Art Ross winner on the East's best team won't win this. You could make a case for Jarome Iginla, but St. Louis is the main reason the Lightning are where they are right now. Norris Trophy Zdeno Chara (OTT) - Chara had a breakout season, finishing third in plus-minus (and first among defensemen) and generally becoming the most physical D-man in the league. He should win his first Norris. Vezina Trophy Roberto Luongo (FLA) - WOW, this is a tough one. Yes, Kiprusoff broke the GAA record. Yes, Luongo was 27th in the league in GAA. No, the Panthers didn't make the playoffs. But Luongo was the sole reason they hung on for as long as they did. He didn't have great stats, but he had a spectacular season. Calder Trophy Andrew Raycroft (BOS) - Quite simply, the best rookie goalie to come along in nearly 20 years. The last one like him -- Patrick Roy. Frank J. Selke Trophy Alyn McCauley (SAN) - When in doubt, go with the guy with the best plus-minus. That would be McCauley. Lady Byng Memorial Martin St. Louis (TB) - Sounds good. Jack Adams Trophy Darryl Sutter (CGY) - How on earth did the Flames not finish last in the division, let alone make the second round of the playoffs? The other coaches are all deserving, but Sutter deserves it for bringing playoff wins back to Calgary at long last.

1 - Lesnar quits 2 - Benoit becomes World Heavyweight Champion 3 - Guerrero becomes WWE Champion 4 - Benoit wins Royal Rumble, jumps to Raw next night 5 - Austin's contract not renewed I just don't think the Austin thing is really big news. It's not like he was a really integral part of Raw or anything. His best days were already long behind him.

ESPN.com's Page 2 has the picture in the Daily Quickie. It's not a Yankee cap, though...instead of the interlocking NY, it's an interlocking YH (Yankee Hater). I might pick one up myself if they're on sale.

ABC can lick my balls. There's no excuse not to have a Saturday night game with THREE FUCKING CANADIAN TEAMS in the second round.
-
What a bunch of fucking toadies. I can't stand this company.
-
Bastards.
-
That's because your team has an incompetent goalie. And to think that I was nice to you after the Leafs' wheels fell off last year. How are your Canucks doing, bob? Or are the Leafs your favorite team this week? Don't forget the Devils.
-
I say we get Muckler to pull the Jedi mind trick on Rick Dudley, and trade Bonk and Redden for Roberto Luongo.
-
Wow, I would so not care about this set of conference finals.
-
OK, so...round 2 predictions: Red Wings over Flames in 6 Avalanche over Sharks in 6 Maple Leafs over Flyers in 6 Canadiens over Lightning in 7 Conference finals: WEST: (1) Detroit vs. (4) Colorado EAST: (4) Toronto vs. (7) Montreal (Hey, a guy can dream...)

Here comes the rain again...falling on my head like a memory...
-
No doubt. Whoever lost this series was getting fired. Martin is the longest-tenured coach in hockey right now...it's time for a change.
-
Well, that HR might bring some down.
