Given how everyone said Atlanta was going to plumb new depths of awfulness this season, just hanging around .500 would probably be a successful season for them.
-
Michael Turner had a lot more to do with that. I'll be interested to see what he does against an actual defence.
-
I was going to point that out myself. It almost seemed like it was three different shows merged into one giant mess.
-
So awesome that Ricciardi will probably stick around now. Talk about your mixed blessings.

No, although the 2014 PGA Championship is listed as TBA. You'd think that the PGA Championship would go back there eventually, seeing as the PGA of America owns the course. Future US Open sites: 2009 - Bethpage State Park, Black Course (Farmingdale, New York - June 18-21) 2010 - Pebble Beach Golf Links (Pebble Beach, California) 2011 - Congressional Country Club, Blue Course (Bethesda, Maryland) 2012 - The Olympic Club, Lake Course (Daly City, California) 2013 - Merion Golf Club, East Course (Ardmore, Pennsylvania) 2014 - Pinehurst Resort, Course #2 (Pinehurst, North Carolina) 2015 - Chambers Bay (University Place, Washington) Future PGA Championship sites: 2009 - Hazeltine National Golf Club (Chaska, Minnesota) 2010 - Whistling Straits, Straits Course (Sheboygan, Wisconsin) 2011 - Atlanta Athletic Club, Highlands Course (Duluth, Georgia) 2012 - Kiawah Island Golf Resort, The Ocean Course (Kiawah Island, South Carolina) 2013 - Oak Hill Country Club, East Course (Pittsford, New York) 2014 - TBA 2015 - Whistling Straits, Straits Course (Sheboygan, Wisconsin) 2016 - Baltusrol Golf Club, Lower Course (Springfield, New Jersey)

The entire AFC East lucked out with their schedules this year, playing the two West divisions. San Diego is the only remotely threatening team among those eight.
-
Ohhhhhhh. My bad.
-
Awesome, I get a win in September this year. First time over .500 since the end of 2006.
-
I can hear the anti-Boston crowd shouting with glee from here. Even with the easy schedule, I don't see them making the playoffs now. The Jets and Bills could both finish ahead of them.
-
If Brady's injury is serious, I'm going to be really glad I got the Pats out of the way in week 1. The Panthers' last second victory knocks three more people out.
-
Seattle's looking as bad as ever on the road.
-
I can't decide which game to watch. I get Seahawks/Bills, Jets/Dolphins, Rams/Eagles, Bucs/Saints, and Lions/Falcons in HD.

Most Honorable Babyface Acts

I just got done watching this...post-parasailing accident Brutus Beefcake running in to save Hogan from a 2-on-1 beatdown at the hands of Ric Flair and the Undertaker on SNME, after Sid Justice walked out on Hogan, was pretty honourable. Added points for Bobby Heenan's line as it happened ("It's gonna be like a hockey game, we're gonna have a faceoff!"). Points taken away for Hogan and Beefcake's disturbing homoerotic interview afterward, with Beefcake saying Hogan was laying in the hospital bed with him after the accident, infusing him with the power of Hulkamania. -
That's better.

At least let Marvin come in with some dumb-assed comment. You guys are playing wiffleball out there with him banned from the forum.

I scored a Michigan-style win, but I'll take it.

Faldo's getting roasted for picking Poulter over Darren Clarke, but I think it's a great pick. Azinger's picks were very predictable. Thumbs down on Tweeter, BTW.

I just got back from vacation. I'll do mine sometime this weekend (probably while watching football on Sunday).
-
Two players out already. Pretty diverse selections this week: Philadelphia - 7 New England - 4 NY Jets - 4 Indianapolis - 3 San Diego - 3 Arizona - 2 Detroit - 2 Denver - 1 Green Bay - 1 NY Giants - 1 Pittsburgh - 1 No pick - 2

All right, who taught Vijay how to putt again? If he gets the flatstick going, there's no one currently on Tour who can touch him.

I think so. I'll check this weekend when I get back.
