Best news I've heard all day. I can't stand the guy. Why Global thought they could make it work, I'll never know.

He's an idiot. Of course the majority of these incidents were perpetrated by Canadians...CANADIANS MAKE UP THE MAJORITY OF THE LEAGUE!!!!!!! Dumbass.

You can't be serious. Jersey's nowhere near where they were last year. Philly would beat the snot out of them.

Air Force got beaten last night in the Mountain West quarterfinals. That should open the door for the committee to do another injustice and let Washington in over the Falcons. [/cynicism]

Triple H *defends* steroid use in wrestling
CanadianChris replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
What athlete has actually died from steroids? Lyle Alzado's death was widely attributed to steroid abuse, for one. -
Then they never would have even showed up at the end, and they certainly wouldn't confront Austin in pairs until he gave them the "Get out of my way" stares. Why not? Make Heyman think they were with him, get him down to the ring then, two by two, make him realize that they're not, and he's about to get his ass kicked. I don't see a problem with it.

But McSorley didn't get a year -- he got 23 games, or the remainder of the season. He had the same proviso attached to his suspension (that he must apply for reinstatement), but retired instead.

I'm in.

The polls aren't what people should be looking at. Duke is clearly a better team than St. Joe's. I would bet a lot of money that St. Joe's would have at least 4 losses if they were playing in the ACC. It's not the losses that the committee takes into account -- it's the good wins, and Duke has a bushel.

Maryland's not a bubble team. Florida State certainly won't be thrilled with this development, though. they better hope Xavier wins the fucking thing...Because that pretty much put X in the dance....but if X loses...it takes ANOTHER spot away... Only if Dayton doesn't take the thing. They're already in, and they have to be the favourites now, given that they're playing at home.

Well, this should pretty much guarantee Duke the #1 overall seed, should they win the ACC tournament.
-
The league office had probably already made its decision before the press conference, so I doubt it. So apparently, the Bertuzzi cheap shot = the McSorley cheap shot, since they got exactly the same penalty.

I can't believe there haven't been ANY votes for IV. That was a horrible, horrible show.

Is Spike reairing this sometime this week? -
And that's all she wrote.

I don't know that they need to. They're pretty much set right now.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if there were criminal charges laid, either. This is now officially WAY more serious than the McSorley incident. EDIT: TSN is reporting that the Vancouver police ARE reviewing the incident.

Todd Bertuzzi should be suspended until at least the start of the playoffs after basically assaulting Steve Moore last night, in retribution for Moore taking out Markus Naslund a couple weeks ago. Check out the highlights, it was absolutely disgusting.

Kent State played themselves off the bubble with their losing streak after Bracket Buster Saturday. They're going to need to win the MAC to get in. Gonzaga gets the WCC automatic bid, Northern Iowa wins in double OT to win the MVC.

Manhattan has hung on to beat Niagara 62-61 and win the MAAC championship. Southwest Missouri State (the team that beat Southern Illinois) and Northern Iowa are in overtime in the Missouri Valley championship game.

Oh, and by the by, the Tampa Bay Lightning are YOUR 2003-04 Southeast Division champions.
