Who do you think programs a computer?? The computer itself isn't the problem, it's the system the computer is following, which is inherently flawed.
-
Of course, if the Big 12 followed the PAC-10 system, OU would have won their conference, too. -=Mike But they don't, and they didn't. So there's no point in even talking about that.

Penn State didn't even start playing football until 1887.

2003 - A year of accomplishment

Cite please? Umm, every single unemployment report over the past few months? Except that, until the last couple of months, EMPLOYMENT was going down as well. The unemployment rate is a false indicator in this case, as it was mostly due to people leaving the workforce, rather than new jobs being created. "Until the last couple of months" Or, in other words, they are HIRING MORE now. -=Mike Nice of you to ignore the fact that your own point was refuted. Every single unemplyment rate over the PAST FEW MONTHS did not say what you claimed. -

Reeves was also good in Speed. That was the first time I went "WTF?" at a decent Keanu movie.

Can you really be considered a legit team

Sure. Indiana sucks this year. -

Belmont? Don't they race horses at Belmont? -
Only because the BCS got massively lucky in 2 of the previous 3 years.

You're wrong. College football has had a "national champion" since 1869.

I defy you to find one political commentator on either side who doesn't use sources friendly to his/her own argument. Franken at least does his research, and quite thoroughly. The credit really goes to the Kennedy School of Government Graduate students. Topic is really starting to sway out of hand. I'd still wish you would expand on this: From what I know. Mansoor Ijaz worked with the Clinton administration, in reguards to the Sudanese counterterrorism offer. It was at this time Sudan, offered Bin Laden. I'll leave it up to everyone to draw their own conclusions on the matter. Maybe not unbiased but what is really? There's also a new book out on the subject. townhall.com MAYBE not? What gave it away, the "Conservative News and Information" on the masthead? Sheesh.

If you start cheering for the Ottawa Senators, I'm going to have to kill you.

Not really. I think it just lends more credence to the argument that K-State's victory was a fluke and that OU wasn't playing like they should have been. Based off the rest of the season that is. The main thing it does is show that K-State wasn't as good as everyone thought they were, making OU's loss to them harder to defend.
-
Just heard my first "K-State losing big gives USC a better case" comment on the telecast. I was wondering if they'd mention that.
-
You know, I think this half is NEVER going to end.
-
It's not.

Look in the address bar, then delete the http://[url= that appears at the beginning.

Oh, this is rich... Yeah, pal, well I don't see how you can lose to ANYONE by FOUR TOUCHDOWNS and still be considered No. 1 in the country. But that's just me.

*raises hand* McNair would kick Manning's ass. And then Denver would waltz past Indy this weekend.
-
Neither guy can touch his stats. Manning is the best pure passer in the game. And neither New England nor Kansas City (especially the latter) really relied heavily on their QBs to win...New England did it with their defense, KC did it with Priest Holmes and special teams.

Separation of church and state doesn't apply in this case. The schools aren't the ones espousing certain religious beliefs. People have a right to their own personal religious beliefs, and can't be told not to express them in public if they don't interfere with others. This law would be quickly ruled unconstitutional in any reasonable constitutional democracy.

Carolina, Florida, San Jose and Phoenix. Even though I'd hate to contract the former Whalers and (especially) the former Jets.
