Nope, it's the exact same school. We used to be North Texas State University but the name was changed to University of North Texas some time or another. We still have one of the top ranked music programs in the nation, and I think our jazz program is is like the number one or two ranked program in the US or something like that. North Texas? The ones that lost to Memphis in the New Orleans Bowl? That North Texas? Is it wrong that I don't think of my school as a school.......but as a football team that happens to have a school named after them? Yes.
