Continuing on the arcade theme... Spy Hunter

Oh, dude. I'll update the standings tonight. Someone changed their screen name and I won't know who until I look at my master list when I get home.
-
That's what I was basing my decision on. Overall, I suppose I did the right thing, but man, that match was something else. Of course, thinking about it, I probably would've been able to see approximately none of it from in the crowd. Yeah, watch it on TV.

Dodgers select RP Lindy McDaniel and backup C/1B/OF Johnny Blanchard.

I'm still kicking myself for not going to see the Presidents Cup in Montreal last year. Following the Weir-Tiger match would've been the thrill of a lifetime.

1994 was their big year. I'd say they're the Clippers of MLB, but I think that might actually be underrating their horridness (if that's even a word). You'd be hard-pressed to find a franchise anywhere in sports that's been afflicted with quite this much bad management and bad luck over such a period of time.

Another one on my list that I overlooked was the Bret Hart/Bob Backlund submission match from Survivor Series 94.

You're not serious, are you? Oh geez, you are serious. Why can't he just go away?

Khali winning the battle royal really highlights SD's lack of top-level heels. Other than Edge, who's a credible threat to HHH? Not MVP yet, and certainly not Umaga.

Well, it's about goddamn time. He was nominated last year. Was he? I must have missed it. Oh, no, I remember now. Two years ago, I was angry that he wasn't nominated. Last year, I was angry that he didn't win.

It was looking as though there might be a run on them, so I figured I'd better grab the guy on top of my list. Perfect example of prime over longevity. There were two others I was considering that are still available.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him decline. The PGA doesn't set up nearly as well for a senior golfer as the Open typically does. It'd be hard to imagine him making the cut at Oakland Hills. It'll be nice to see him leave Augusta National on his terms next year, though. In other news, Michelle Wie is playing the Reno-Tahoe Open. To which I say, ENOUGH ALREADY. Try concentrating on signing your scorecard correctly and making sure you have an LPGA tour card for next year (she doesn't, and has only one more exemption left to earn the required $80K, otherwise she goes to Q-School).

OK, I'll pick...my kick returner: Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, KR/PR Image specifically chosen because that is all the kicking team will see of him. He also makes a good backup WR if needed. Return Touchdowns 8 PR yards 3,317 KR yards 2,941 3x Pro Bowl selection (1975, 1977, 1983) 3x All-Pro selection (1975, 1977, 1983) NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team NFL 1980s All-Decade Team 1983 NFL Comeback Player of the Year 1975 Pro Bowl MVP

I had Michaels as a wrestler once, in the Owen/Bulldog vs. Austin/HBK tag title match. Funny that I had him as a ref twice, though.

Sock it to me: Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In

Dodgers select first baseman Nick Etten and backup outfielder Jerry Mumphrey.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25461301/ I got 17/20. 16/20 is supposedly the bare minimum to qualify for citizenship.

I like them, especially when they're just meant to be fun filler. The Gimmick Battle Royal at WM X-7, with Mean Gene and Heenan on commentary, was loads of fun. One of the matches I remember most as a kid was the SNME battle royal right before WM III, with Hogan and Andre in it -- it's amazing how big a deal this was at the time.

Well, it's about goddamn time.

This only went twelve episodes, but it is the funniest show of all time: Fawlty Towers

He may have a sore trapezoid, but at least his parallelograms are OK.

I don't think there's any way HHH loses the title now.
